This company has the worst customer service. Their scheduling system is worthless, they schedule individual subs to come out and they never show up and then expect you to follow up with each sub to reschedule yourself as if it was your mistake. You're better off just getting the items under warranty fixed yourself then dealing with this headache of a company.

Another custom built home, another horrible experience with ProHomes. Elissa from their staff has been absolutely exhausting and frustrating to work with. She makes you chase her down for follow up repairs, scheduling, answers to basic questions, and makes you feel like you're inconveniencing her when you do it! She's rude, curt, and not professional by any of my standards. I DO NOT recommend this warranty company and wish builders would have other options available.

This is worst home warranty company. Delays, not responsive stuff - makes this "service" completely useless if you are looking for warranty service company. I have no idea how they able to get deals with builders, but looks like when builders do not want to take responsibility - they just hiring ProHome to use it as "bad reputation absorber".

Lol the most useless home warranty I’ve ever had. The turn around time to actually get stuff done is insane. Your house could be flooding and they’ll hit with okay, I’ll need some pics, then send to committee for review, and oh by the way they meet once a week and that’s happening next week and then it’ll be a few days before they can actually get something scheduled to come see your flooding house. But in the mean time sit tight, we truly care about your home. Talk to you in 2-3 weeks.

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. They effectively try to deny every warranty claim we made even when inspectors point them out. Avoid any builder that uses this company. You'll save yourself a ton of frustration

It has been over a month since I submitted a claim for my shifting floor boards and our account manager, Abby will not return my messages. I would even appreciate a this is being looked into but I receive no response. We also had a very difficult time getting in touch with our former account manager when it started raining in our master bedroom. I do not recommend this company at all.

May-Marie is the best! Chris was also very informative during our walk through. Have had nothing but positive experiences with this company since we bought nine months ago.

Prohome offers home warranty services on behalf of Pacesetter Homes. This partnership goes beyond just a namesake association. However, there seems to be a recurring issue where they consistently attempt to categorize every concern as homeowner maintenance, even when it falls within the scope of the 1-year home warranty.

The worst service ever experienced and I sale homes for a living. This company was chosen by pacesetters clearly chosen because they’re cheap and have no intention of fulfilling their obligation. The lady we interacted through was rude and ugly. Every time we talked to her. She sounded like we were a nuisance and a bother for her to do her job. They kept sending inexperienced, electricians, and plumbers. In the end, I had to get my own plumbers and electricians to fix the issues because they would come out and do nothing and then say it was serviced, and ProHome would ask. Did they come out? I would say yes, and they deem that as a completed job. When I was tired of my house, tripping every breaker, I hired my own electrician. He told me three breakers were malfunctioning, and a clearly obvious splice in the wire was exposed in the panel. This company is abhorrent and it is unjust the way they are treating folks. I truly hope karma affects them in the near future. If you have a choice, do not use this company.

This is by far the worst warranty company that my wife and I have ever had to deal with. We have a new construction home that we have only been in for about two month, and it takes an arm and a leg just to get answers. We currently mold building behind our master bath mirror do to an installation issue and pipes from upstairs, and they can care less. Everything g has to go under review. Any other warranty company we have dealt with has sent someone out with in 24hrs. I would recommend anyone and everyone to stay away from this company. There is a reason why they aren’t even worth a 2 star rating

Our experience has been on par with the other 1 star reviews. It’s EXTREMELY difficult to get a hold of them. It takes months to get anything done. They don’t listen to details when you are able to get a hold of them. We ended up having the builder come and fix our front door because pro home was so useless. I think part of their business model is to take so long on repairs that the homeowners just do it themselves. I give a two because the initial walk through with a person was helpful and nice to have done before we moved in.

This is a horrible company with which to interact in any way. They've threatened me for asking simple questions about the warranty I'd purchased and seem to actively forget entire clauses contained in documents bearing their company name. I've had a number of my claims denied under the basis that they don't meet some arbitrary measurement even though no measurements have taken place. They also seemed to be a "fly by night operation" as they don't appear to be registered to do business in my state.

I would really reconsider buying a house that has ProHome attached (as you might have guessed from this, and the several other, reviews).

Let me start by saying that if you're a builder you should avoid this company to save your reputation and avoid possible litigation. As other reviews suggest my experience with ProHome has been nothing short of a horror show.

Here's my story. My fiancee and I purchased a new home in April of last year (2021). The initial walkthrough was pleasant and the person who completed it gave us a detailed walkthrough of the components of our home. It has been all down-hill from there.

Our policy consists of 2 warranty periods; 30 days and 11 months. When we completed our 30 day warranty one of the items that was identified was holes under a storage cabinet, seems simple enough. However, this is ProHome we were dealing with; they informed us that we would need to purchase the paint required for the repair -_-. After much back and forth, and having cursory conversation with a lawyer friend who suggested the terms we should use in our correspondence ProHome performed the repairs and purchased the paint. Beginnings of the red flags.

A few weeks later a pipe burst outside of our home; we contacted ProHome and they informed us they wouldn't be able to get anyone out that day and effectively wished us good luck while portions of our property were flooding. I needed to reach out to them several times over weeks before the issue was resolved and the pipe replaced.

For our 11 month warranty we hired a professional inspector to generate a report on which we would base claims. We documented and submitted detailed claims (the process for ProHome is immensely frustration) only for most (notably the most pressing / expensive to correct) to be rejected on frivolous bases. We're in the process of objecting to these, but will pursue legal remediation if needed.

Very bad experience - would not recommend.

I had an issue with the furnace in a brand new condo. A technician came and diagnosed the issue as a bad High Limit Switch. He said he would order the part and schedule an appointment to replace it. After several weeks, I called ProHome to follow up. It was very difficult to get in touch via email or phone. On multiple communications, it took them weeks to reply to emails. Overall, they proceeded as if they had no record of the service call or next steps. At one point, they told me the repair was approved and would be scheduled. After another several weeks, I followed up - at which point they told me the repair had now been unapproved and I was on my own.

My experience is that a ProHome warranty gives you zero protection and zero customer service.

    UPDATE:
Within hours of posting this review, a ProHome employee contacted me on Linked with a message that said: "I saw your Google review and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. I apologize for your experience and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to speak with you."

Keep in mind, my customer service reach-outs to follow-up on my issue were never answered until I followed-up multiple times. However, I got a message from ProHome within hours of posting a negative Google review. Very telling.

I was then told "I apologize for your experience. I am currently working with our Director of Operations with regard to your unit and will follow-up with you as soon as I have additional information."

    I never heard back.

I'm not surprised, as this seems to be how the company operates.

The process with ProHome went very smoothly. Our Agent took great notes in the Ipad, documented all issues and understood our concerns. Easy to talk to. Recommended!

terrible experience starting from the first walk before buying a house I feel fooled, because after buying a house it turned out that the list of the final walk is fiction, not an obligation and no one is going to control it and you are left alone with all unfinished things! which of course they do not warn you about in advance, but say that the developer has 30 days to complete everything, so here's a surprise, the developer will simply ignore you after the deal, and will not care about the house at all!

further on warranty obligations, it feels like I am constantly being ignored and warranty services are also sham and do not bother the company at all, from the list of complaints compiled for the first semester, after several months, most of the items have not been completed!!, no one understands why the builders do not come or why instead of fixing it they make it worse than it was, they terrorize me by saying that I have to write the same reports, my requests to contact management on rejected items are ignored, my new complaints are ignored, this is not at all the experience I expected to get when buying a new house!

    update:
you write - We have improved significantly since then - is this a joke or a mockery?
my closed complaints are still not opened and not fulfilled!
ignoring all my requests including the final pass through are also ignored by your useless and employees and Ashley Lewis - Sutton Director of Client Services
and I do not understand at all how such a terrible company can continue to work and still have a license

The Pro Agent was attentive, incredibly thorough, and detail-oriented. He took the time to explain everything clearly and walked me through the entire list with great care and professionalism. I truly appreciated his dedication and expertise

Feeling like this “warranty” was pointless. After my one year, 75% of my claims were automatically declined stating I was responsible for fixing. Or, they mentioned that the items were not mentioned in the final walkthrough….a year earlier….as if I had a crystal ball to see what would need fixing after a year. Everyone I know that has purchased a new build did not have issues in getting issues fixed. Cracks and things happen as the house is settling, and they basically said I’m S.O.L.

Not a fan of this company and this experience.
