Initially, the service at Valley Feed and Seed was great. They definitely know their seed. I felt confident purchasing from them. I purchased 20# at the recommendation of the sales guy who helped me. Less than 24 hours later I called because I need 15# more. Anything over 25# is discounted. I asked if I could get the additional 15# at the discounted rate since it is a total of 35#. Danny the owner said yes. Then told me no because I only bought 20# the day before and not 25#. I even have the 20# bag unopened and said I can swap it out for the higher amount because they said the reason they won’t discount it is because it requires more bags and tags for them. So I offered a solution. Danny still said no. I feel taken advantage of. The real burner here for me is that 25# is almost the same price as 20# by a few dollars because of the price break. Also, was not explained to me. Lesson learned here on my part.

Had areas of grass not growing, employee told me exactly what to do, didn’t try selling me things i didn’t need. Yard is coming around nicely. Really appreciated the friendly service and all the advice/knowledge. Bought some jarred items too. Very good!

I have visited so many feed & seed stores around the area and I love them all that I have visited. Valley Feed & Seed stands out because not only do they have incredible service, incredible knowledge that they are willing to share, they give you time on your own, ask if they can be of help, they never have tried to oversell, and I have found their prices to be, comparatively, the best, often lowest, around. Not only are they super help, but, most often, they stick with you till you finish finding everything you're looking for, serve you at the register, & offer to carry it out to your vehicle. I love going their.
