Had a technician out to fix a clearly communicated issue with my AC unit. They arrived same day, filled up 4 pounds of Freon (without asking to approve the extremely large fee it would incur first), charged me over $650, and left.

The issue wasn't fixed. I had to call and have them come back the next day to fix the actual issue, which to their credit they did, by not replacing any parts and simply cleaning the outdoor unit. Had they done this the day before, it would have fixed my issue without incurring nearly a $650 bill. To their credit, both James and Larry were professional and kind.

Larry Cook Heating and Cooling approached my service call with the intention to make the most money possible, not solve my issue. They charge $125/lb of Freon, which after calling 3 other HVAC services, they are the most expensive by a decent margin.

I would not use this company again, and I couldn't I'm good faith recommend them to anyone knowing now the manner in which they operate.

I have a service contract and they do a great job keeping my 17 year old heating an air unit running great. Dan,Brian and the others are wonderful. Thank you for a great job.

That are very responsive. Jake and Charlie and Ben did a very professional job. I saw them do things that showed care and quality in there work. The job was done in a very timely manner. Thanks for a job well done.

A technician by the name of James came out and did a great job. James was very polite & knowledgeable. He was also very funny too! Job was done fast and efficient! Happy to recommend this company!

This company is the one to call first when your air conditioning system goes out. Gerry came over for an estimate within 30 minutes of my call and quoted me the best quality system for the best price out of the 3 estimates I received from other companies . Gerry scheduled the work within a few days which was a relief as it was in the high 90's and low 100's when my system went out. Gerry Cook was also the most professional of all that came to my home. I truly value his knowledge and expertise. The Trane system works well and we are very happy with it. I recommend this company highly.

I had the best experience with one of the employees of James Valentine. His service was very professional on time and responsive and good value. He really made me understand what was going on with the issues I was having with my heating and air, and he fix the problem right away.

I called morning of service and Don S. came out and cleaned and serviced our air conditioning unit. He was very knowledgeable, efficient, dependable and would highly recommend without reservation. Very reasonable price as well.

WOW! What great service... from the start, Gerry was wonderful to work with - and our installers were amazing. Freddie was extremely friendly, efficient and answers all my questions - along with giving me great explanations. I was told they may be here until possibly 5pm - he was out by 12:30! Can't say enough great things!

Charley was super nice, very professional and as efficient as one can be when you have to search for parts before you can really get started. He did a superb job and is greatly appreciated by our family.

Charley checked our A.C. and made sure it was in good working condition and fixed the noisy unit . He also informed us of a possible ventilation issue in our furnace room.

Highly recommended. Our AC couldn’t keep up when temperatures hit 100. I sent a service request via their website and received a call promptly. To our great relief, Charley came out the same day and quickly got our system back in working order.

I called on a Monday evening at 4:41. The next morning, Charlie shows up on time thoroughly goes through my unit explains everything to me that he's doing very professional, very professional 100%. I do recommend these guys and my recommendation. Honestly, don't come lightly. 'cause I'm a pretty picky fella. But these guys are for real and very professional again. I might add, thanks, Charlie. And thanks to the young lady that answered my call. And got me on the books the next morning immediately. And Larry, thanks for making that happen.

From the estimate by Gerry to the installation of our replacement HVAC Everything when smooth. Their technicians are very professional and are willing to answer any questions and concerns. Our AC unit was making a concerning sound when it ran, and Larry Cook Heating and Air was able to get out to our home the same day I called! Charley was very friendly and quickly found the root of the issue, taking steps to make sure he was covering all his bases and making the right repairs. This is some quality repair! They ran the ignitor wires OVER the burner.
Brand new unit heat & ac 3/22. Ignitor replaced 2/23. Failed to ignite last week. Never. Again.
