I was getting quotes to replace my central air and furnace. The owner himself came out to take a look- I will admit I was a little concerned at first because it was so quick.- no sitting down and talking about options. Then I got the quote. WOW is all I can say. Then it dawned on me, this is a smaller company, no sales people and a lot of overhead to deal with, and honestly just wants your business. I had several quotes with other company's that were double of what they gave me, plus a much better unit ( they deal with Temp Star which is highly rated) so I immediately called them and within 5 days ( mind you it was July 4th weekend ) they came out, put in my new units, did some repairs that were not even in their contract. I was speaking with the technicians about how impressed I was, and they simply stated that is how we do business and how he is( meaning the owner).. The new units are performing well beyond what I thought - I had a Trane prior( please dont ever go there!) And the people are so great ! I wish there were more people in business like this ! They are not out to rip you off and overprice - so refreshing in today's times!

I had our air conditioning go out on a Sunday. I received a call about 30 minutes after leaving a message and Bob was at my place within 20 minutes. He diagnosed the problem quickly and gave a fair price. He fixed it within the hour. Another company I got a quote from told me I needed to replace the whole unit. BS! I will definitely be calling them the next time we need anything!

Cannot get them to answer phones. When they finally answered the next day during the afternoon to ask why no one showed up for our scheduled service, the scheduler admitted she got the days mixed up. The flow control valve on our boiler went out 8 days after it was serviced by them, and now they have refused to answer their calls AGAIN. We tried to visit their office to see if we can get the service repaired under warranty and their place of business (their home), no one seems to be home.

My experience working with Lenny and the Kiefer Heating team was fantastic. Lenny took over my home renovation when another contractor was unable to complete my project due to an illness. Kiefer’s communication throughout the project was wonderful and they were able to make suggestions on how to improve the project. When it came time to complete the work they knocked it out quickly. I will recommend Lenny and the Kiefer team to anyone I come across.

This is a long review but worth telling. Another well known local company tried three times, using two different techs, to fix our furnace. The first tech replaced parts but target failed after a week, the second left it vibrating so badly the whole unit was shaking, the third trip made it some better but said it was done and advised replacement and provided their quote. I had used Kiefer once before to install a new air conditioning unit and decided to call them to get their quote. I called on a Friday and they came out on Saturday. Before they arrived it had quit again, they looked at it and found the previous tech had not fixed anything but had only strapped things down to make the vibration less noticeable. They found the motor mount had broken due to vibration that had been caused by them not putting back an air deflection piece and changing a factory calibrated part to a setting of their choice. I was told both of these things caused the problem and they could likely fix it if they could find a replacement for the missing part and replace the damaged other two pieces. Saturday evening they returned, replaced the broken items and hand made the missing part by altering a part they were able to find that day. They advised I would likely get several more good years from my furnace and charged $300 for parts and labor, that was $200 less than I had already paid the other company. From my call to their office, (BTW- she was just as great and helpful as their tech Len) to them leaving after the repair, it was honest, knowledgeable and valued service. I now understand why the other local service company tech removed the Kiefer Heat and Air sticker (without my knowledge or permission) they had applied from the air installation. Their action speaks louder than my Stars on this review. It is well deserved and I highly recommended them.
PS: I am not going to try to get my money back from the first company, I’ve used them about five times now in the past three years since moving here. I can predict their response from previous calls, and as important as money is, it is not worth my time to hear all the reasons it was not their fault and that they are sorry I’m unhappy.

They. Performed maintenance on my Weil McClain boiler and did a good job. The pricing was higher than I thought that it should have been.
It was easy to schedule a service e appointment with them and they were generally responsive.

Sent me a two year old invoice and asked me for proof that I paid it. Better hold on to your receipt.

Had them put a new air handler and heat pump in tempstar supposed to be the best. Has made crazy noises since it was put in. Has them out 5 times to fix it couldn’t figure it out. When he finally did the guy said we can wait till it warms up being as it was January.. called back when it got warm and they said it was out of warranty after fighting about it for 2 years!!! Did replace heat pump but didn’t fix the problem that was causing the issue… yes had people out numerous times because something was wrong with the system and to be told it’s out of warranty when it was brand new in 2023…

Have been using Kiefer for over 20 years. Refuse to use anyone else. They are affordable and a honest company

We are pleased with our new furnace and A/C . Tyler our tech knew what he was doing and worked quickly and was alwys on time, he even worked in the rain to install the new a/c outside. Thank you Jenn and Keifer for an honest experience.

Was in desperate need of a furnace but living on a fixed income most companies I contacted wanted to sell me an air conditioner when I didn’t need one and their prices were very high. Keifer stepped up made sure we had heat by the end of the day. No trying to get rich they truly care about the customer. Highly recommend them!

I purchased a new furnace from Keifer Heating and Air Conditioning when mine quit working. They were able to put in in within days. Also, while it was out they offered to bring me space heaters to use so I wasn't left without any heat in my home.

I highly recomend Kiefer for any heating or air condioner needs.

I love the Keifer crew They put in an air conditioning unit, water heater and furnace. Recently, I had to have a new furnace on the coldest day in months. I had pneumonia and they told me they would have it by the next afternoon. Less than a day because they did no come until Monday evening. I only had to get a motel room for one night. The gugs are all friendly, respectable and knowledgeable.

The staff at Keifer are professional, kind and always available. I had a new Tempstar heating unit and AC put inand it works perfectly. They are available to talk any time you call and trully care about their cusomers. I love the family owned business.

We purchased a Tempstar furnace and hybrid gas with heat pump. It has worked great for the past five years. We used Kiefer to maintain our old furnace until it needed to be replaced.
I would recommend Kiefer to anyone.
They are honest and very reasonable with pricing.

The only HVAC company we use! Kiefer is quick to send help, their team is knowledgeable and have always been able to fix an issue the same day unless a unit needs replaced and even then, we are are up and running again within a day or two. I can't recommend Kiefer and staff enough. Fair prices and friendly staff-- you can't ask for more.
