Be on the look out for van #103 and stay away; this driver is going to cause an accident. I was crossing over the I-471 bridge into Cincinnati in the far left lane and the other three right lanes were slow due to traffic. Then the driver pulls right out in front of me (my speed was almost 50 mph and his lane was doing like 25 mph) nearly causing a multi-car accident. Then when I passed by him; he is on his phone, looking down and what I assume is fumbling around for paperwork; blindly aiming that 5,000 lb weapon down the road. This company needs to educate their drivers that they are not driving their POV, but a company vehicle and it will be the company that will have to pay for any damages due to the driver's lack of focus on the road.

I needed a repair on my outside unit and Rectin HVAC was prompt in their response which important due to oncoming inclement weather. After diagnosing the problem and ordering parts it was up and running just in time! Would highly recommend!

They fixed a dinosaur of a furnace for me. They were straightforward, professional, and accommodating. I really appreciate Bradley doing very good and swift work. I will call them anytime I have any other hvac needs.

I cannot speak highly enough of this company! They've managed my home needs for more than a decade. Kevin has gone above and beyond. He explains what's needed - gives me directions when I wasn't providing the right type of care for the A/C or furnace - and trouble-shoots the most cost-effective solution. I went through 5 other companies before I found Rechtin. And today? I have an old boiler in an apartment building that was missing a piece. It's so old they don't make those anymore. The Rechtin team is making me the piece so I don't have to purchase a new boiler right this second. I get great customer service every time I make a phone call. BEWARE!!!! This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. When my furnace wasn't working correctly, Jon checked the furnace, ignitor, etc. as part of the service call and said I needed a new thermostat. Service call $89 and Honeywell thermostat $389. That is correct $39 for a $52 retail thermostat!!!! The worst part is that a four days later the furnace stops working again. They come out and tell me there is a crack in the heat exchange and it will be $1,600, a discount because of the furnace still being under warranty. Told me the part would be in within a week. Eleven days later, no part and I am still heating the house with space heaters. Called a different company that confirmed it was the heat exchange and was going to charge $1,000. The repairman with that company looked at me like I had three heads when I told him what I was charged for the thermostat. I ended up getting a new furnace because it made sense with a twenty year old system. The WORST and SCARIEST part was that I spent four days with carbon monoxide leaking in to my house because Jon with Rechtin didn't catch the cracked heat exchange and instead screwed me with a thermostat. Notifying the BBB and considering small claims court. The good reviews on here must have been paid or are relatives.
UPDATE! To tell you how scummy this company is, Tom Rechtin contacted the building permit department to try and get me and the other company in trouble over a permit for the furnace installation. WOuldn't be surprised if there isn't a hit-man somewhere.
