Company kept in touch throughout the day to let me know that I was still scheduled. I only gave four stars due to the fact that they do not provide any type of window. So being available the entire day can be difficult. And after waiting most the day, they text me to confirm that I had received the message and that if I didn’t do it in a quick manner, they would move onto the next client. But the service went well. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Was able to complete the maintenance check in a quick manner.

My go-to with any plumbing and hvac needs. Had a rental property that needed a new furnace and John assessed the situation one night and his team had the furnace in the next day saving my tenant from having to go more nights without heat. Fast, reliable, professional and very easy to do business with. Highly recommend

Caleb came to my house to check and tune up my furnace. He made sure everything was running great. He told me everything he was doing and checking. He made sure I was enrolled in the maintenance program to keep everything at peak performance. He was very friendly and kept me informed on everything. He was even able to save me some money! I have been a customer for about 3 years, and am very pleased with this family owned company. They are always friendly and professional, but still treat you like you are a friend. I have had the pleasure of using Schneller Knochelmann for several services in my house.
They helped maintain our old HVAC system beyond its lifetime, as well as installed our new system last year - during the massive snowstorm in 2025.
When we had Freon issues during the summer due to limitations on tuning in the winter, they were incredibly responsive during the heatwave, helping protect and bring comfort to my pregnant wife and my family.
Recently they again were incredibly friendly and expedient in resolving a plumbing issue. Their friendlinesses, professionalism and responsiveness excels far beyond most services I’ve received anywhere else. I always enjoy talking to the professionals that come to service our HVAC/plumbing, who are always informative and enjoyable to talk to.

We just had a new furnace and air conditioner installed by Schneller Knockelmann. The technicians did an excellent job. They cleaned up and took time to explain how the system worked. I will definitely use them and recommend them to everyone. I am retired but have experience as an electrician and refrigerant technician. I know quality when I see it

SK has always provided excellent service and this was no exception! We received a call for service less than 2 hours after we called to request it. The service technicians were great and were able to clear out our main sewer line in about 90 minutes. Highly recommend this company!

This company was fantastic. Andrew initially came out and checked out our system and gave us the facts and wasn’t pushy at all. Larry was very informational and kept in contact when he wasn’t able to be there. He answered any questions we had. Jonny, Nate, David, & Eric did a great job with the install. They were clean and efficient. We love having peace mind with our system.

I want to recognize Dylan and the team at Schneller Knochelmann Plumbing, Heating & Air for their professionalism and honesty throughout my HVAC journey.

Even though I did not hire Schneller for my system install, Dylan stayed in touch and showed genuine concern for my situation. When the company I chose struggled and turned what was supposed to be a 1-day install into a 14-day ordeal, Dylan kept checking in, offering advice, and showing me what true customer care looks like.

The most impactful moment came when Dylan personally came to my home after the install was complete (by another company). He inspected the system, explained how it worked, and reassured me that the equipment was installed to a professional standard. That peace of mind was priceless after everything I had gone through.

Dylan’s professionalism, clear communication, and willingness to help — even without earning the sale — made me wish I had chosen Schneller from the beginning. He gets a 5-star review from me based on attitude, honesty, and follow-through alone. If this is how he treats someone who wasn’t even his customer, I can only imagine the level of care Schneller provides when you are.

We had a complete new furnace and A/C installed with some challenging older house issues. Schneller & Knochelmann’s installers displayed a complete knowledge of how to properly design, fit, install, and tune the new system. They worked methodically and non-stop to complete the installation in one day, including challenging conditions on the outdoor A/C unit. The company’s planning process making sure the team had all the necessary parts, tools, kits, and protective floor covers from their central warehouse was outstanding. We’ve had various major house updates done in the past 15 years and nobody’s come close to S & K delivering exactly what was promised, on time, with no shortcuts. Would recommend them to anyone.

Mark is the best! We had him install a new HVAC company since ours was on the outs. Every time we would call before, he was always quick & reliable on coming out to check our unit. Hopefully now he won’t have to come as often.
The process was quick, easy, & painless!
Our system works great & we are loving the ability to control the thermostat from our phones.

We also went with an air scrubber to help with the air quality in the house. I could tell a difference in my allergies & the way I was breathing in just 24hours.

I received multiple quotes for a new heating/cooling system from different companies. American Comfort was very competitive with their estimate, and we ultimately decided they were our best option. Mark and his team were prompt and got to work on swapping our system out quickly, the outcome was awesome. We are currently enjoying our cold AC and couldn't be happier with the work they did. I plan on using American Comfort Heating & Cooling for all of my HVAC needs in the future.

Mark was so great, he came out on Christmas Eve when our furnace wasn’t working and our house was at 52 degrees. He was so nice and quickly identified the issue and fixed it after someone else had told me they needed a kit to fix the issue and would call me next week. He could’ve easily jacked up his rate with it being the weekend and Christmas Eve, but he didn’t and it was more than reasonable. I can’t thank him enough because I don’t know what my fiancée and I would’ve done if he wasn’t able to come out. I would highly recommend him and so glad one of our friends did.

Thank you for coming out so quickly and fixing my Air conditioning issues with our Thermostat. We upgraded to a new one and asked Mark for his opinion on which is best for us. Mark is very professional and works with you as a customer. Will be using American Comfort again and would refer this company to anyone who needs Air Conditioning needs.

I wish I could say I recommend these guys. The work they did was fine, no complaints. But I found them extremely unprofessional. The main guy (won't name names) walked into my business (I own a warehouse), literally YELLING on his phone. Some people talk on the phone, some people yell- even in public. Mind you, I just bought the building, so my computer is set up in the foyer until my office is done. He continued to walk in and out of the door, where I am visibly working at the computer, yelling on the phone. He then proceeded to service the unit down the hall while also yelling on the phone. After 20 minutes of this in/out yelling, I finally walked back and had to ask him to please keep it down, I am trying to work. Don't think for a second this changed anything. Nope, it continued. Then his fellow workers showed up, and they matched his volume speaking to one another, for two days. I was trying to work on a very important project at my computer, with him yelling on and off intermittently on the phone, and simultaneously talking to his boys...as if they owned the place. I literally could not focus, had to just give up a few times.

To top this off, they took my old ducts and threw them in a (temporary) dumpster next store that wasn't mine, instead of taking it with them as a company such as this is supposed to. I definitely got a mouth full from the folks next store about this, as they got the dumpster for their own project, and my ducts took up a ton of space. My husband texted them about this, and they said they would come remove it. A week goes by, nothin. My partner sends reminder text....another week goes by. Almost a month after completing the job, they came and got the ducts.

I have hired a ton of contractors in the past 2 months since purchasing this warehouse. None of them were as unprofessional as this crew. Do you know that not one of them even introduced themselves or said hello to me? Yes- the owner of the business. Notta. I won't say anything bad about their work. But damn, have some respect for the business you enter to do your job. Don't recommend.

I would highly recommend giving Mark a call if you need HVAC work done at your home. He was easy to work with and fast in coming out to look and diagnosis my AC problems. The price for replacing my whole system was competitive and they were extremely quick in getting the job done.
