We had a tree between 30-40 feet in a tight space between our home and power line that we needed to be removed. Doug is incredibly prompt and communicative. Everyone at Arbor Barber is incredibly professional and you can tell they take great pride in their work. They worked quickly, safely and left our yard spotless. If you are in need of any tree services I would recommend them time and time again, you will not regret it.

Doug and crew removed a rather large maple tree that was very close to my house. Doug was great to work with, including quick response to my request for a quote, getting a certificate of insurance and completing the job in one day. All debris was removed from my yard. Amazing experience with this company. Had a dead tree about 60 feet that was starting to progressively lean over my neighbor's garage. Gave them a call on Monday at 5, and they stopped by the same day at 6:30 to give a quote on the work. Tree was taken down the next day and was done speedy, safe and efficiently. Doug communicated with me throughout the whole process and was very knowledgeable about trees and was a pleasure to work with. At the end of the job he did a great job cleaning up and exiting. Doug got back with me same day with a very good estimate. Removed 2 very large maple trees in my front yard working around electric lines and my neighbors driveways and vehicles without a problem. Ground the stumps without any problem working around the gas line and water line. Cleanup was very fast and tidy. Definitely would use again.

Doug and his team came out to our house to take down a few dangerous trees and limbs we had in our backyard. Everyone was super friendly and knew their stuff. They were conscientious of how the tree would fall and took extra measures to make sure not to damage any of the concrete in our driveway. They explained the process and the steps to keep us informed.

We had Doug look at an old Ash in our backyard in Covington. The tree was in a very tight spot next to a privacy fence. Somehow it was never affected by the emerald Ash borer. Doug was able to assess its health and recommended a trim instead. He and his crew were able to get the job done quickly and with zero damage to the fence, houses and shed nearby. He ended up trimming the Ash and a Silver Maple for us. Both trees are mature and not in the best place to work around. Great job, highly recommend.

I had a fantastic experience. I called in the morning and he was at my house by mid afternoon. Once I’d made a decision on the direction I wanted to go that evening, he was at my house with his crew ready to start the next morning. I’d called multiple tree services, none have even responded back, and I’m already taken care of 😂

Job info: I have a large magnolia that needed to be trimmed off my roof and my neighbor’s driveway. When Doug came out, he knew exactly what needed to be done and explained it in detail. He showed me some that the tree was healthy but looked like I might have some type of bug because of the woodpecker holes and stress fractures. He was going to provide some info to me about keeping the tree healthy. He also pointed out a tree on my hillside leaning towards my house that would definitely fall on my deck and possibly the house if it died or was knocked over. He provided an itemized quote for both trees so I could decide if I wanted to do one or both, and his price was very reasonable. I had him do both trees and I’m glad I did.

Finding Doug and Arbor Barber Tree Service was a true blessing. His expertise, knowledge, skill and professionalism are obvious in every aspect of the process. We hired Doug to take down two trees that were too close to the house we had recently purchased. One was a large, old tree that was situated on a very steep hillside and required special care and precision in bringing it down while keeping pieces from rolling down the hill towards our house. That meant every section he cut had to be lowered down by rope and moved by hand. Our small yard meant no equipment could be brought back so every piece had to be hand carried out to the street. Doug showed great professionalism in his skill and took time to carefully evaluate every step before making his cuts and kept us informed of what to expect. His focus was always centered around safety. We were very happy with the clean-up and how the finished product turned out. We will be calling upon him for any future work and would highly recommend him for any tree service you need to have done. Doug and his team worked together to give us a beautiful and more usable backyard. Thank you, Doug, for your help and we’re happy to say we have found a new friend.

Highly highly recommend this company. Doug and his crew was very professional and great communication with me. The price was very reasonable. They took my 50 ft tree down in about 4 hours. We are already planning on using them next year for another tree that we need removed. I give them a 5 star rating and will be recommending them to friends that need tree removal.
