We desperately needed sod laid down before winter. Wally was quick to respond when I initially reached out to him, came out to look over the yard for the quote and had everything done the following day! He was easy to communicate with, punctual and got the job done! Our yard looks fantastic! Thank you Wally!

I would recommend this company to anyone! They are professional and very experienced. I had a very basic idea of what I wanted my back yard to look like (and my yard was a mess) but they took it to the next level. They were able to draw on their experience and incorporate things I hadn’t even thought of. I needed my yard cleaned up, beams installed around my son’s play set, a small stone patio built behind my garage for a fire pit and some Adirondack chairs, some trees planted along my fence line, and instillation of gravel and wood chips - on top of that, they also cleaned my hot tub! They communicated with me on every aspect of my landscaping design, listened to the things I wanted, and respectfully made their own suggestions- which were fantastic! I plan to hire them for another job as soon as this one is finished. You may find cheaper landscapers, but you get what you pay for, and Imperial lawn and landscaping are very fair with their prices. I highly recommend them.

My husband contacted Wally who got back to him right away about possibly sodding or seeding our back yard. He had him come over to give us a price and we discussed what could be done. I also asked about doing some landscaping and the cost, and what trees he would recommend. We were going to seed instead of sod because of the price. Wally said he was going to check out some prices on trees and get back to us later that day. A couple of days went by and my husband tried calling him and it went straight to voicemail. He left text messages, no reply. Finally I used my phone and low and behold the call goes through. He tells my husband he is too busy to do the job and he doesn't have much help. When my husband asked if he blocked his number, Wally replied he might have? This is very unprofessional! All he had to do was let us know he couldn't do it. I would not recommend this business to anyone!

In response to the owner's comment...a phone call would have been nice stating you couldn't do the job, and as far as it being price motivated, you never gave us a price! You also told me it would cost you $150 to rent an aerator from Lowe's. We did the job ourselves and rented an aerator for $65.

I used Imperial for tree removal and tree/shrub trimming. I was very pleased with their work. Wally and his team showed up on time and did a solid job. He even returned the next day to touch up a couple of spots just to be sure I was completely happy. Nice person and a reliable, reputable business!

Wally was INCREDIBLY helpful during the busiest season of the year and truly cares about his customers. I cannot recommend his expertise and truthfulness enough - also VERY quick to follow up and respond!

After striking out with several companies, Wally responded to my request immediately, providing a quote the following day and completing the work one day later. I am so pleased with my recent landscaping and drainage work from Imperial Lawn & Landscape. I had a bad drainage problem on both sides of my steps which caused water and mud to puddle and run onto the sidewalk. After receiving quotes from two other companies, I saw Wally and his crew doing landscape work down the street from my house (Cooper Drive). I had him come by to give me a quote and he was the only one to mention that I needed drainage under the planting to alleviate the problem, the others suggested planting only. His price was very competitive as well. I plan to have him remove and plant new shrubs in the future. He is very knowledgeable in all areas.

We contacted Imperial Lawn with a request to repair our lawn where an invasive grass has taken over. Wally responded very quickly and within a few days he and his crew had provided an extensive lawn repair service. They are highly professional, on time, and do exactly what they say they will do. We are extremely happy with their work.

I had a great experience with Wally at Imperial! I really needed his help after another landscaping company left a huge mess. He was there the next morning! Fast, reliable, professional! Definitely plan to use them again

Wallace and his crew at Imperial Lawn and Landscape absolutely made my day!! He said he would be at my place in 2 hours and he was! Prompt, courteous, professional and very understanding and asks a fair price for quality work. I had rental property that needed attention ASAP and we had to immediately leave town for a very sad family emergency. Wallace said he could be at our place in 2 hours and he certainly was. We explained all the work we would like to have done, they got right to work. We had to bolt so left him a check for payment and later that day we received multiple pictures on my phone of my yard restored to prettiness. Thank you Wallace and crew!!! They went above and beyond with trimming a tree off the roof of the house and even cleaned that gutter which probably had not been cleaned in years. They cleaned off the out building and the dog kennel which has been over taken by vines. You folks at Imperial Lawn were seriously angels sent to us that day.

Now that my landscape project is complete, I feel even more fortunate to have discovered Wally and his company, Imperial Lawn & Landscape. While I'm certain my project wasn't the largest undertaking they have ever completed, it was huge to me. They made me feel like their most important client. They were terrific to work with from beginning to end. The finished product exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend them to anyone interested in working with kind, caring and talented people. It's obvious how passionate they are about their craft. They are truly a Lexington, Kentucky treasure!

I recently hired Wally to put some drainage in our backyard and seed. This was probably the best landscaping experience I have ever had. While I found his prices to be a little higher than others, I do believe in you get what you pay for. Wally was responsive to all communication, he was on time and up front about the cost. I appreciated that he shared the links to Lowes on what he was purchasing before hand. I am looking forward to seeing the lawn come in over the next couple of weeks.

Wally did a great job with our landscaping tear out and update. He offered different suggestions for plants to use. He was pleasant, followed up, stayed in contact throughout the job and even showed up a day or so earlier than expected! Everything turned out great!

I had a rush job to take care of my overgrown backyard as well as clean up the trimming in my front yard and Wally was amazing! He was professional yet pleasant on the phone. And when dealing with pricing he was more than reasonable considering how big the yard was and the state it was in. Now I’m already planning on how I can utilize Imperial Lawn & Landscape for bigger, better projects!

Couldn't be happier with the quick service Wally and his crew were able to provide. We closed on a house in Lexington while still living in New Mexico and thought we had someone lined up for lawn care until we got to move, however that individual never showed up to work as scheduled. Contacted Wally and he was able to get out the very next day to tend to the yard and get us sorted. Communication has been perfect and we couldn't ask for more. Looking forward to working with him and his crew more in the future. Definitely highly recommend and the stress relief has been greatly appreciated.
