BEWARE!!!! Do NOT waste your time or money hiring these guys for anything. We hired him in August ‘18 to do quite a bit of work for us. We gave him money to do the work and he disappeared for over 7 months! We finally had to get an attorney after him to get him to come back, but he still left us with work unfinished. He won’t return calls or text messages now, won’t give us our money back, and won’t come finish the work. We finally had to hire someone else to come finish what he wouldn’t and they had to tear out what he did before they started because it wasn’t done right to begin with. Save yourself time, money, and hassle, and hire someone else. STAY AWAY from Handyman Pros!

I contacted Home Depot in search of someone who can repair my deck door. It is a double patio door, the lock needed repair. It was the holidays, I expected a few days delay. Within 4 days I was contacted by Don Simmons, Sr. He is professional, analytical and efficient. He analyzed the problem, opened up the lock, made adjustments then repaired the door. It took him approximately one hour. I am very pleased with this transaction. I highly recommend Don Simmons, from Handyman Pros. Inc, for any project you may need help with.

Handyman Pros did AMAZING work on my deck, took it from a jiggly mess that I didn't feel safe walking on to being as sturdy as the floor in my house. Stunning work and at a good price as well. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent work end-to-end, starting with detailed estimates by email, then A Class work done on schedule, and finally easy online payment. We needed several different kinds of work done, and Handyman Pros' skills and workmanship exceeded expectations. Will be using them again, and referring them to family, friends, and neighborhood.

We were working with another handyman who completely disappeared mid-project. I called Don, and he quickly audited the project, delivered a timeline and payment schedule, and then (most importantly) delivered on the timeline. The work looks great, and I’m looking forward to working with him again.

Our back deck was old and was getting dangerous. They removed the old deck and built a completely new deck and stair. They also screened in the deck and added a roof. It looks AMAZING!! We are very pleased! We will use Handyman Pros for other projects. I highly recommend them to anyone!

We trusted the 5 star reviews and hired this man for a kitchen remodel. 10 months later and we had to hire a different contractor because he never showed up. He did make a few purchases for us, but then nothing. Excuse after excuse. He owed us $12,000. He admitted he owed it but just “needed more time to refund us”. During a conversation about him delivering a check he got angry because I told him to do the right thing and he responded “I’m not going to talk to a woman”. Don’t trust him. He talks a good talk and maybe did some good work for a while. This is our experience with him. He threatened to sue me for “defamation of his character”, except he knows he’d never be able to because we are 100 percent telling the truth and have all the texts and emails to back up our story. He even insisted we sign a gag order before he refunded our money. We refused. I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through our ordeal. Just hire someone else. I wish I had trusted the few poor reviews on here instead of thinking they were disgruntled customers. This is not a company with integrity, and I’m speaking of the owner.

They installed new interior doors throughout my house. They were very professional and did an excellent job. They showed up on the dates they were scheduled to be here and the rates are pretty reasonable compared to other quotes I had received. I am very pleased and plan to use them for other projects in the future.

Needed to cancel an appointment, and wasn't told until the next day that the cancellation fee was $270. No flexibility with that. The worker left for 70 minutes to get supplies. He worked for about an extra 20 minutes to make up for it, we paid for 3 hours of work and only got 2 hours and 20 minutes. Also really do not like how this company requires card information before they are willing to start. You can get the same quality work as Handyman Connection from licensed , insured , trained, professional companies for about a half of what this company charges, without requiring payment information upfront (except on large projects). Feels like this company really only cares about the owners bottom dollar and not the people who pay it.

From the first contact with Marie I was pleased with her professional demeanor, was friendly, she listened, and made sure my expectations of Handyman Connection were clear to her. Very thorough. I had a minor issue, she followed up quickly with a satisfactory solution.

Allen the craftsman that did the work was professional and completed the job to my satisfaction. The replacement work gave me much better than I had. I recommend them both.

We contacted Handyman Connection - Lexington East to do some kitchen and bath renovations and install new lighting throughout the house. There was a lot to be done and Walt and his team did an amazing job! Walt was wonderful to work with…kind, professional, knowledgeable and thorough! He took the time each morning to explain what they would be working on that day and then recap at the end of the day. They paid attention to the details and it made all the difference. Would highly recommend to anyone!

This business saved me from a bad situation! Had appliances delivered and they required me to hire someone else to unhook things before install. Like what???? Anyway this company answered the mail and then some! Katie was attentive, understood the position I was in and took care of my needs. She had a tech to me within the hour and he did an amazing job. I had Bill for service and he was excellent. Showed up exactly at the time I was told he would be there and was extremely professional yet personable! I highly recommend Handyman Connection Lexington for any handyman work you may need. I needed stringer boards installed so I could mount a squat rack in my garage. I was initially told they would provide a written estimate and then schedule the work at a later time. Because it was a relatively small job, Bill offered to complete it the same day which was amazing! Again, highly recommend and if you need carpentry work, Bill is your guy!

The workers showed up promptly on time and completed the work in a highly professional manner. Everything from start to finish was exceptional! Highly recommended!!

Bill did a great job replacing our outside backdoor and frame. There were a few more problems with the original door frame than we'd anticipated, but he was able to address them and make all the improvements needed so that our new frame is in great shape. He finished in one day and was able to keep the final bill to pretty much exactly what was quoted.

Marie at the office was extremely helpful with helping me get the right info together and working with a busy schedule on my end.

We are extremely happy with Mike's attention to detail. We had numerous items to be performed around the house. Mike fixed broken hinges and slides on cabinet doors, did outdoor painting and drywall repair, all with a smile. Thanks Mike for helping get our home functioning perfectly again!

I had Handyman come out and do odd ball projects around my house - replace door sweeps, patch a hole between my pipes and drywall in the bathroom, install a light fixture and touch up paint in my bathroom. The handyman was nice, efficient and cleaned up afterwards, including disposing of materials. He offered to do other projects around my house because he finished under the time quoted. So I put him to work. Price is comparable and competitive to other handyman services around Lexington KY. Great service if you have house projects that you don’t want to do or have time to do.

This company was so quick to respond and friendly beyond measure! The repairman (Mike) was efficient and even asked if more work needed to be done around the house before he left. He repaired our furniture, was respectful in our home, and I would suggest their company anytime!

I contacted Handyman Connection to put up a shower door on a Thursday and they did the job Friday morning. The gentleman that came was great. He was very professional and quiet, I barely knew he was in the house. The end results was wonderful. I’ve had several comments how nice it turned out. Thank you!!
