Buddy bought a house they barley inspected it they have mold in the vents bad plumbing gonna be out thousands I would go somewhere else
We love the team at Chandler Home Inspections. Jim & Randy have done a fabulous job for our clients over the years. We love working with them whenever we get a chance!
Brian was AMAZING! He was timely, knowledgeable and went above and beyond even going back to the house to check another item for us. He cares about what he does and he’s passionate about his clients.
The only reason1 star is highlighted is because I had to at least pick one to be able to post. Otherwise, it would be 0. I asked for a complete home inspection because I did not want any surprises if I decided to buy the house. Jim assured me he would leave no stone unturned. The report came back that the house was one of the best built he had seen. I needed to consider gutter guard and trim some trees. Here is a list of the things that went wrong with the house LESS than 5 days after purchase, and that is not everything that is wrong. *Double window upstairs bedroom is not secured properly *the front bedroom walls lean 3/4 of in inch toward the road *sink in downstairs bathroom does not have hot water; water will not come out of faucet *disposal did not work *upstairs tub does not drain *downstairs toilet will not flush unless you hold the lever down *downstairs toilet will not stop filling until you jiggle the handle *AC coil was rusted through - the AC repairmen were shocked to find out I had an inspection done and this was not caught *the unit froze and drained all over the carpet downstairs which now needs to be replaced *flashing on the chimney was not secure *there is not a concrete pad around the opening of the chimney which can be seen from the road *the chimney is not sealed *exposed nails in the roof (Jim was not going to climb on the roof,or put a ladder to it to check the roof out) You be the judge, but I wouldn't waste your money with Chandler Home Inspections.
Jim inspected two homes for us, both times on short notice. He always answered the phone when I called and answered all my questions. His reports were thorough and included tons of photos with issues clearly marked. Jim was a pleasure to work with. I have and will continue to recommend him to friends in the future.
We moved into our house back in July and this company was recommended to us from our Realtor (they are friends I believe). Since then we have found so many issues that he did not diagnose such as water damage, major plumbing issues, and a crack in the foundation. He was a very nice man and reasonably priced. I don’t think he had bad intentions but I also do not feel like a thorough job was done and all problems disclosed.
