Neat and first class as far as I am concerned...

Layla is super helpful, when I didn’t bring my card she helped me setup Walmart pay while nobody helped and was patient.
-
The cashier at the front desk in the garden center had a very poor attitude for no apparent reason. She was using her phone and did not respond when greeted. Her demeanor made it feel like customers were unwelcome. This occurred on May 1st at 10 a.m.

Great service

Wonderful staff is very helpful...

Low inventory this time of year (August)

Didn't have what I was looking for, and nobody was in the garden center.
-
Home Depot has everything, even if it's not the easiest to find. For local tips on gardening, lawn care, and machinery repairs, I'd rather to to my local ACE Hardware.
-
Big selection and the staff I interacted with was very pleasant and seemed to know their products. I had a returned item and shopped in kitchen and bath area and found they have a larger selection then the location near New Garden and Battleground .

Great selection of products and very friendly staff. I have bought plants from the garden section here and from Lowe's, and the plants frome Home Depot have thrived MUCH more. They seem to put real effort into taking care of their plants, and it shows.

Had what I needed, even in the winter.

This isn't for the garden center. There wasn't an option for the outdoors section. The one on elmsley has some great selections more than wendover has. Way more Rod and reel choices and tackle options

Google maps says the garden center/outdoor living is open until 11pm(same as the store), yet I tried to enter from both in the store and outside the store and the doors won't open yet all the lights are on. Rediculous. Tried to call: there's no way to reach that department directly and after going through the phone prompts, it just hung up on me.
**Update: I was able to go during a time they were open (not enough employees, sad), and needed an item that was stored outside. The outdoor section was closed off, but the employee was very nice and led me to the item I needed. -
We picked up our Douglas fir Christmas Tree today. Star Nursery on Boulder Highway has a beautiful selection. Great prices this year. The customer service is awesome. They cut trimmed and bagged our tree. Then helped us put it in the car. Thank you Employees of Star Nursery.

I'm always excited to come to this place, the people always know what it is that I need, and have extensive knowledge on desert plants and how to care for them unlike other places that just try to sell you pretty plants that will die and not flourish in our climate. They are honest and up front with all info they share and always have great sales going on. I will be returning here for all my needs, because of the overall great service and products offered. Thank you.

I've been here for our usual planty or growing needs, but my family recently came here for a Christmas tree and are really happy with our experience! Their trees were much better quality than I've seen/had elsewhere, and they were super helpful with fitting our tree with a stand and getting it strapped to our car. It made for an easy trip with our kids and for great memories decorating our tree this year. I know where to go next year!

I normally love going to this location, Boulder hwy, even though Eastern location is closer. But of late (past year) the garden service trucks and trailers park blocking All handicap spots. My husband and I use those spots.
Today they had roses on sale in the memorial day ads yet sad beat up bushes were offered. And none on sale. I would gladly pay 30 bucks for a rose bush that is not overwater and half dead. Just so disappointed -
Good prices , good deals every time you walk in , brings peace and a chance to bond with my family picking flowers, trees and materials .

Management at Boulder Hwy location is actively "getting rid of" Star Nursery's community cats. Several of the company's locations have community cats on site that help with pest control. Some are even friendly with the staff and customers. I personally love the experience of seeing kitties while shopping. I'm disappointed to hear of these changes. I will not be shopping at this location because of these changes.

We have been to star nursery a few times and have always had a pleasant experience with their selection but we went today and had a fairly racist experience with the older white haired Caucasian woman who was extremely rude (only to us- visibly ethnic people). Not okay

Update: I have contacted Lori, and we are working together to remedy the situation. Some of the syrays have been fixed and released back. They've committed to keeping most of the friendly ones. One has been placed into adoption. We're working on the remaining stray ones. Lori has been very helpful!!
Horrible!!! Why is the new mgr, Lori, removing the cats and trying to cover it up?? She can contact me or any rescue/trapper and we help place the friendly ones. The other Star locations keep and love their cats. They're great to get rid of rodents. The news will be notified.
