Amazing staff at the Boulder location. Very clean and well kept. Thanks to Jessica Vargas who helped me with my company project to purchase plants for an event. Very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Answered all my questions and sealed the deal! Will recommend to family, friends and colleagues.

All your employees are very rude, they don't like customers asking questions let alone answering simple things like how much something is worth. You guys need to tell your employees to start acting right or their behavior is going to affect people wanting to come shop at your store.

This rudeness has happened two times already from your cashiers, once it was some white girl who didn't even want to give us bags and the second was some other kid who didn't want to tell us the price of something we were buying. Either teach them the basics of customer service or hire better candidates for future positions.

Stopped by Star to gather some fall and winter flowers and potting soil on a Sunday morning. First selection of options was very broad with a nice mix of colors and sizes. Picked up two Marigold containers which will be used near my pool. Though the price point was a bit high at $20 per container. Had an earlier visit where I received mainly mums. Two to three weeks later about 75 percent are still looking good and monitoring the others. On a closing note sadly a comment on the staff. First, was looking around for at least 25 minutes and not once did anyone stop by to welcome me or ask if I needed assistance. There were at least 2-3 associates out in the greenhouse area that saw me. And, none of the additional staff are welcoming either from checkout to laborers. No one smiles or looks at you directly. Not a good vibe and this lack of customer service should be made into a higher priority for Star's management if it wants to retain its customers. On an earlier trip there when asking for assistance to provide plant options for my pool the gentleman rep said " When you come back the next time I'll give you some ideas." No, how about now?? Basically was saying he was too busy to take ten minutes of his valuable time to help. What happens if I don't come back? Food for thought Star Nursery..

I’m not shopping there anymore, with the anti cat stuff going on, not cool. They used to be cat friendly and I enjoyed seeing the cats, while shopping. Now it’s very hush hush. Food is being removed from property, there is community cat laws that protect the cats. And also they already go through hell living outside and having no homes. It’s in humane and cruel what you guys are doing. All I have to say management you’re in the wrong for this one. I won’t shop at this location anymore 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

This is a sweet Star Nursery. The cat they have here is very cuddly and is a very good boy. They also have some nice succulents

I have been to several different star nursery locations in town and overall it just has poor management and customer service.

As I was checking out in line, mind you I was the only one in line at the time, I spotted a female manager at the time and had asked which area to check out at as there are stations to check out to the left and to the right of the entrance. She just grunted “he can help you” on the right hand side. So I went over to the right side and the checkout attendant didn’t even acknowledge or even bother to say hello or something to indicate when to start the transaction. So then another attendant came over since he clearly wasn’t eager to start the checkout process . So I was like several red flags here but..ok fine.

I was trying to purchase a tree and opted in to set up delivery for it. I asked them how delivery usually works and they offered that it potentially be delivered same day or “whoever is available whenever they can do it.” I ultimately chose to have it delivered next day. (It didn’t arrive same day by the way)

Fast forward to next day the tree didn’t arrive nor did I get a confirmation call. So I called the location which also was a headache to call. I called the place 3 times to actually have someone answer as they set up all these automated responses that ultimately end the call because they aren’t set up properly so I had to keep calling until I selected an option that was fictional. The person who answered was the same person who checked me out the day prior but they didn’t answer with any kind of formal greeting so I was confused that I even called the right place. I asked to get an estimate on when the tree could be delivered just so I can prepare accordingly instead of having a tree and plants left in the middle of the street. I was placed on hold only to be ultimately told the same response that it’s basically whenever they have someone and just hangs up.

Way to treat a customer who literally threw down a decent amount of cash on trees, plants and soil. You think you would handle someone better who drops that amount of cash at checkout in this economy.

Overall I don’t think I would recommend this location due to the way it’s managed.

Moved to the area a few years back and I always buy a Christmas tree here each year. The service is always great.

Daniel and the ladies up front were more than helpful. Also, they do military discounts, which is appreciated. Deff recommend this establishment.

I went to every darn Star Nursery in Vegas looking for a specific pot In a specific assorted color. My sister in Utah couldn't find the 4th she needed. Finally I called the one on Boulder Hwy. Sent them an email with the pot picture I was trying to match. The amazing guy Tosh pulled a pallet, sent pictures. I have never had such amazing customer service going out of the way to help find a pot. AND THEN, He loaded it for me.

Tho this location is 15 min away from my house. I come here for my plants and supplies. Very organized/friendly and I never had any problems. 1 1/2 years since I bought our house and gardening. I would say 95 % survived so thank you star nursery boulder

Sign says 3.88 for chandler strawberries. Instead of arguing, honor your sale. Apologize for your mistake.

The Boulder Hwy store would not accept my return of two lavender plants that had wilted and died within 48 hours of purchase. Their poor attitude and shoddy business practices will ensure they won’t have me as a costumer again.

I called in to this branch looking for 2 specific items. Was placed on hold then was told that items were in fact in stock. I drove clear across town to that location. I asked employee (no name tag go figure) for assistance. Very unhelpful didn't care to walk with me to the area help le find them just very dismissively saying if you don't see it we don't have it. Gone are the days of great customer service, great satisfaction, and care. Great work Star Nursery on Boulder Highway. What a joke. Not to mention traveling in the heat .. construction every, and traffic while with toddlers. Long story short I left angry and empty handed because she'd rather stand around than to do her job.

I have an aloe that is birthing mutant babies. I needed labor and delivery supplies for the newborns and her last litter of mutant babies. I wanted to shop locally. I chose this nursery because I live nearby. I ended up spending nothing and leaving about 10 minutes after going inside. The selection looked good. The plants look healthy. Unfortunately the staff wasn't helpful or friendly. I just got stared at and made to feel uncomfortable. So I went up the street to the Lowe's. I spent 160.00 on labor and delivery supplies for my mutant aloe Vera's. I have my receipt that I'm trying to attach. I didn't want to give my money to the big corporations but I still want good service and this nursery wasn't it.

Came in last minute looking for a Christmas Tree. There we’re so many good choices. The prices were affordable. I had my eye on one and ended up buying it. Moses was súper helpful and so was his team.

This is the 3rd year I have bought a freshly cut tree for Christmas at Star nursery on Boulder highway. Moses made it a smooth transaction for me, and loaded the tree on to a cart. Like before, the tree is fresh and smells wonderful. They also cut the trunk, and will trim any branches you want at no cost. Thank you! Merry Christmas.

Not the biggest of the franchise locations in town, but they do have a nice plant selection. Their free classes are interesting. Staff are friendly. I wish they had more for ponds though. Some hardware like pumps, filters and koi food, but no aquatic plants. Have to go to Tropicana Aquarium to find nearest fish and pond plants. I also wish their bagged mulch was a little cheaper.

Moses was amazing! Took his time with me going through plant design options for our blank slate new build backyard. He was so knowledgeable and patient with us! He never pressured me and was keen on listening to me and making sense of what my vision was! I can’t wait to see the plants come alive soon after the project is complete later this week
