My first impression was the store had a great selection of plants! Very few house plants, which was fine. The employees were nice and helpful. My only complaint, which is super minor, was that if most of the plants were gone from a variety, the ones left were sad little ones that looked neglected. I’m use to nurseries caring to keep all of the plants looking healthy and happy. Other than that it was a nice local nursery.

I love this place and post videos everytime I visit (which is a lot) but they never repost my stories...just interesting 🤔

I shop here often and love interacting with the adorable cats. Word is that the cats are being removed due to the new manager Lori not wanting them there even though we as customers enjoy them. How about we remove Lori and keep the cats. I will not be shopping at this location until Lori is removed and will spread the word to my many friends and family who purchase from this location.

Beautiful expansion of the store! Friendly helpful staff! One of the best places in town to get pots!

Love coming here for every season and finding my essential items I need. Especially when the pottery goes on sale. This time around I wanted to buy something that will keep on giving in our indoor living. Also we bought some stakes to help keep some items up from falling because of the winds. The staff is always welcoming and staff is always willing to answer any questions or even help load the car if we have heavier items.

I bought a Christmas tree 🎄 there. Ive always gone to their Eastern location & gotten 7-7.5 footers. I can't physically do that anymore. This location was very helpful. Even though only getting a 3 foot table top tree, they were so nice & could not have been more helpful!! I've bought trees from The Guardsmen, Delancey Street & private lots down through the years, but none of those trees compare in freshness, color & shape to the trees Star Nursery sells. Their prices are reasonable as well. They are my go to Christmas tree 🎄 people now. Great trees.

Stopped by to grab some new plants for the house and heard this was a location with a good selection. This description was very accurate and they do have a great variety of plants.
Unfortunately there is limited to zero guidance as to where things are in the nursery so unless you have been here before and know where things are, you may find it frustrating to find what you’re looking for.
Also there seemed to be a lot of employees around doing tasks but there was one guy at most walking around asking customers questions and assisting them. We asked a worker where some plants were and all we got was a vague point and “over there”. Apparently there is no training to actually engage with customers or actually show them to plants.
Long story short if I know exactly what I want and can get a workers attention then I may return to comb their options. -
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great prices on fresh Christmas trees.

Wonderful selection year round on all gardening essentials.

This nursery is so small that the inventory they get goes so fast, it's that or they just don't stock.
I've been coming to this nursery for years because it was right down the street from me so I bought what was offered. I'd occasionally go to the other nurseries and noticed the options were ten times what's offered here.
I came here again hoping they had gotten more plants but I was wrong. Perhaps this was my last trip here. I'll gladly make the longer trip for a better option to choose from at another nursery. -
DISHONEST AND RUDE! I bought a few citrus trees and they died. I took them back for a refund and the manager Deanna said they would not refund because the trees had been "planted". I showed her their refund policy displayed by the checkout counter which did not say anything about no refunds if the trees had been "planted". She had been caught lying, so what does she do? She goes to her office, locks her door and does not come out. After wasting some time waiting for her to come out, I just left. Never again!

Lots, lots and did I mention lots of plants and all things plant related. I went looking for some outside stuff, pavers, etc. Good prices.

There is no way anyone should be going to this nursery. Do not support them.
After hearing and confirming that specific people are being suspended, getting in trouble, etc for even PETTING the cats and feeding them, that’s actual animal abuse. Actively not caring and killing them. Fresh liters and everything.
Everyone is trying to rescue these poor babies. They HAVE a soul. They HAVE feelings. This is no way to treat a living being. This is so disappointing to hear this is happening, heartbreaking even. I won’t ever support these people unless I’m able to take in all these cats and give them the life they deserve. Also, please, no generic message/reply on this that I’ve been seeing. It’s not believable, and many know this. 0 stars if I could. -
Everyone was very nice!. Ernesto helped me get the perfect trees and explained to me what I needed to plant them. He went above and beyond to make sure I knew what to do to keep them healthy. Damon delivered the trees to my home and instead of just putting them out front he took each tree to where I wanted it. He is an amazing and kind man! I am a Vegas native and always get planting needs there! I won’t go anywhere else!

**Subject: Request for Refund of $25 Sand Bag Deposit** Dear Star Nursery, On April 12, 2024, I purchased a yard of limestone sand for underlayment of artificial grass from your store. I was charged a $25 deposit for the bag containing the sand. When I attempted to return the bag in October 2024, I did not have the receipt but provided my credit card statement showing a payment of $50.39, which included the $25 deposit for the bag. The manager at the time was unable to locate the transaction in your system. She made a copy of my paperwork and assured me that the corporate office would handle the refund and contact me the following week. However, I have not received any communication since then,,, sent them at least 3 emails ....terrible customer service ,,,bad NOW ITS DEC 19,,,,,,,,,Finally after months the corporate office was excellent and took care of the problem … 5 stars to the corporate office………

I would give 5 stars to all Star Nurseries if I could, but one nursery is lucky to get even 3. Why? Because they have the worst parking lot of all Star Nurseries. That would be the little one on Boulder Hwy. It may be closest for me, but I don't go there at all anymore. During their busiest times (mainly early spring to early summer) all the long flower hauling trucks pull in to drop off their plants. They have NO separate area for parking, so they either have to pull in behind customer vehicles, or they are there taking up the tiny parking lot spaces so there is no where to park while they are there. I HATE that. It has happened enough times now that I now refuse to go to that one Star Nursery.
As long as you go during other times of the year you are probably safe, but not during spring time. Good luck. I've received the "stink eye" from one too many truckers who had to back up or pull forward to let my car out so I could get out with my plants from their miserably small parking area. -
I'm a person that doesn't need much help but they are very helpful when asked.
