I love Louisiana nursery. But my last experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. I bought a very expensive flocked tree on November 22nd. It was delivered to my house a few days later in good condition. I was told at the nursery not to water it bc if the flocking got wet it would turn into a gel and that it shouldn’t be a problem because the flocking would lock in moisture. Well, my tree is dying. It’s drooping so bad that the lights and ornaments are falling off. In a last attempt to salvage the tree I added water hoping to spruce it up and it did no good.

Last year my tree was flocked and lasted through Christmas. I did not do anything different. Any suggestions or opinions on what I could have done wrong? Did I buy the tree too early????

Okay so I've been having trouble trying to kill the willow tree that's currently in my yard right in the path of my gas line. Well we all know that will tree roots run deep and spread like fire , well zach and his team helped me out TREMENDOUSLY! Took the time to talk with me on what recommendations I need to do to actually keep it from growing back. These guys are amazing and have excellent customer service!!!! Definitely definitely recommend this facility.

Really nice selection of plants. Staff was mediocre. Prices were quite a bit higher than most big box garden centers. But they had sweet potato vine, which made me happy

Good place to get your tree and tree decor! Did I really just say that? Here take my man card. Anyway, happy wife happy life!

The first time I went. I was suprized to see the help.The workers were there to show me around there big selection of plants.Everything was well organized. I will be going back. This is my new plant store.

So many beautiful plants to choose from! We drove from MS to hit their amazing sale this past weekend! They have healthy thriving plants! I can't wait to see all of mine grow!

Outrageously expensive. I went yesterday and exact same cyclamen that sells at Lowes for $5.99 is $12.99 at Louisiana Nursery. It’s a gorgeous place, with wonderful variety. If the prices weren’t absolutely absurd, it’s the kind of place I would frequent often.

Gina is super nice, she helped me look for Max the cat lol. I also found some cute little plants!

They have a huge selection and variety of decor, plants, vegetables, pots, and much more. everything is neat, the plants are very vibrant & healthy 🌿🌷🪴 Good prices as well! Definitely worth a visit for some fresh air / date spot to walk and visit (& get her some flowers maybe 🌺🌷🌹).

Plants are beautiful and thriving. The service is Wonderful. They are always asking if you need help. Always look forward to replanting my pots & fixing up my yard.

Well-organized store, but prices have increased since my last visit.
On a positive note, I've had great experiences with Louisiana Nursery's Perkins location - their plants are always healthy, and thriving!

They have a beautiful selection of flowers. I’m starting a flower bed soon, and they had everything I needed. The plants manager was so helpful and knowledgeable. He gave me information about which plants I should start off with and wear to place them.

I’ve bought my Christmas tree from Louisiana Nursery every year because they always have such beautiful trees. Unfortunately, this year was a disappointment. In the past, the staff wrapped the tree in netting before loading it, which always protected the branches. When I asked about wrapping it this time, I was told they “don’t do that anymore because they’re too busy” - but it was Friday morning after Thanksgiving around 9 AM, and there were only a few other customers.

Instead of wrapping it, the employee just pushed the tree into my car’s trunk, and several of the bottom branches snapped. It really put a damper on what is usually a special part of my Christmas season.

I still love the quality of their trees and want to continue supporting them, but I hope they’ll consider bringing back netting or offering a better loading process to protect the trees and the customer experience.

I’ve looked all over for a goumi berry tree and they was the only ones that had them instock. Plus I found some sale items. Caleb I think was his name (sorry if wrong) but he helped us out greatly appreciate.. we will be back. Wish one was in Livingston or Hammond as well..

They are great. They quickly ordered 50 poinsettia for our church and put on the color sleeves we requested. They were beautiful and stayed glorious till Christmas.

Buyers Beware! We shopped at this site and bought over $200 worth of plants along with a child’s shovel for $15. Our 4-year-old dug into moist soil once, and the shovel bent.
The manager and the cashier were helpful, but I was told that I had to get another shovel to which I said I did not want another one. There are no instructions as to what type of dirt can be used with the shovel, but they told me it was clay which is incorrect.
The manager went to the owner who said I could get a store credit or replacement.
We will not shop this store ever again because some products are sold that break quickly, and all they offer is a replacement with the same product.
If I had not escalated this situation, I would have another cheap child’s shovel.
I am so “taken aback” that a store can sell cheap items and not offer a refund when such items break as soon as one gets home.
The day I bought it is the same day I returned it. So disappointed!

Fantastic service here at LA Nursery on Coursey. The assistant manager, Zack (or Zach?), went above and beyond to help us with choices for our new garden bed and had wonderful suggestions. He also gave lots of helpful tips for ongoing care of the plants- clearly very knowledgeable. Highly recommend visiting for your Spring planting needs!

Had the pleasure of meeting cindy the cashier and Gina, one of the gardeners. They were both awesome. Great people and both very knowledgeable. I love this nursery. The prices are decent, but the plants are excellent. Today i found in of my wish list plants on a random stop in..

Extremely happy with Jose and his team. Very professional and also very friendly. He and his team work very hard and are very careful about how they do everything.

Jose and his team removed a monster water oak from my yard. I got several quotes and his was the best by far. He ended up removing three trees from my neighbor’s yard after the job he did for me. His team worked so hard in some major high temps. I was very impressed with their hard work.

Jose and his crew did a great job trimming a lot of trees around our house. They also cleaned up all the branches they trimmed and removed them. The yard looks fantastic!

Fun place to visit and browse. Lots of nice plants to see. Believe it or not there is a room dedicated to artificial Christmas trees! And this the beginning of August. Compared to others this is definitely a pricier place, but good quality!
