Insignia Landscape is AWESOME!!
The landscaping at our Davis Islands home in Tampa Florida got wiped out in Hurricane Helene on September 26. 2024. We reached out to Mike and his talented team @ Insignia Landscape soon thereafter. He responded promptly, created a design and as soon as we agreed on a price.. work began. We had a whole new yard with beautiful landscaping and irrigation in a few days. They exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend this company⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Insignia has been maintaining my lawn for about 3 years. Recently, I decided I wanted to rip out almost all of the landscaping in the front yard. Mike helped me map out what I wanted, made some recommendations of positioning and plantings, and worked with me patiently on the morning of the installation to make it perfect. The crew even managed to save and replant some of the things I originally wanted to scrap. Before (with signs) and after.

Our property needed a complete refresh, tear out old and start new with irrigation, sod, new planter beds, shrubbery, palms with stone work and drainage system. We knew it was going to be a big project that needed to be done right . After considering several landscape companies we chose Insignia Landscape. Company owners Mike and Steve came out more than once to sit with us and help us with their expertise to develop a design plan for our property that we loved. They scheduled the work to be done, arrived on time and worked hard with their amazing crew everyday until the job was completed. We are thrilled with the results and their customer service and truly believe that this was the most professional and competent company that we have dealt with in a very long time. Mike, Steve and their amazing crew worked very hard everyday and were always happy and eager to answer any questions including often asking if they were meeting our expectations as to placement, technical issues and landscape design. If you need any landscape work done from small projects to a complete property renovation, this company is the best.

We are so happy that we choose Insignia to complete our landscaping project! Mike was so helpful and knowledgeable from start to finish with our project! Mike was always very communicative when we had questions or decided that we wanted to change up our design. All of the landscapers did an amazing job and worked so hard laying our new sod and planting our new trees/shrubs. I knew after doing much research and getting quotes from multiple other companies that Insignia was the company to go with! Super professional and easy to work with all around! I believe two stars is a fair review for this company. The time finally came to get landscaping done after living in our new build for just over a year. Insignia Landscaping had some of the better reviews in the area so we decided to inquire.

Communication from the start was never the best but we chalked it up to the fact that they were likely busy tending to customers onsite. Nevertheless Mike ended up coming by to hear what our thoughts were for the yard. We were extremely open minded as we are not the landscape experts. We essentially went with everything Mike recommended after explaining why he recommended what he did. So far so good.

Start dates were agreed upon but as a detail oriented person there were still a few things that were unclear such as the time they'd be arriving on which days. I reached out to Mike for clarification multiple times throughout the process. Clarifications that I would expect to be clarified in the beginning but once again I chalked that up to me having high expectations for certain levels of professionalism, especially after reading many 5 star reviews and spending almost $7,000. Once everyone was on the same page installation itself was prompt and painless aside from communication issues.

I had to follow up more times than I would have like to throughout the process but ultimately the job (technically) got done. The job was done and we were happy with the choice of plants and hedges that were installed.

However after a few weeks, we noticed the plants around our house weren't making any progress. We have an irrigation system on our house and the plants absolutely got plenty of water and sunshine. I thought it might have been our soil but the hedges they installed by our sidewalk were thriving so that wasn't the case. About a month later not only did I noticed that the plants weren't making any progress but they were actively dying. I decided to reach out to Mike with my concerns and included pictures. He immediately offered to replace the plants that were dying. I never asked nor did I ever expect them to replace any of the plants. He is the one that set that expectation. I said thank you but a week went by and I hadn't heard anything from him so I followed up asking when he would be by to replace the dead plants and got no response. At this point almost all of the plants installed were showing signs of regression and slowly dying off. I let a few weeks go by before following up only to met with no response once again. While they (technically) did the job I paid for the service and communication we received left something to be desired. I also want to reiterate that he is the one that set the expectations that I would have my dead plants replaced. I believe it is common sense not to offer something you're not prepared to deliver.

Summary: My experience was decent at best and I believe that's me being generous. Ultimately I spent $7,000 for an entire overhaul of my front yard with a minimalist aesthetic only to have about 1/3 of the foliage die off within a couple months, followed by a very poor attempt at making it right.

I contacted Steve with Insignia Landscape because I’m selling a home remote out of the Tampa Bay area. The buyers requested we had our sprinkler system looked over as it hadn’t ran in over 15 years. Steve said he would go out to take a look at the sprinkler system and be in contact with me by the end of the week. He contacted me within 24 hours with photos of every sprinkler zone working and a video of exactly what the issue was and how to remedy the problem. I could not recommend him as a professional enough.

Exceptional Service and Quality – Highly Recommend Insignia Landscape!
I recently faced a major issue with my driveway in Milton caused by tree roots lifting cobblestones. Other companies quoted me thousands of dollars and said the repair would take several days. Then I called Mike at Insignia Landscape, and the experience was completely different.
From the very first call, Mike was compassionate, professional, and eager to help. He explained a smarter, more aesthetically pleasing solution to repair the entire edge of the driveway. The quote he provided was not only very reasonable but also beat all previous estimates.
What impressed me most was the speed and efficiency: Mike called the next day to schedule the repair, and his team completed the entire job in just one day! My neighbors were stunned at how quickly and beautifully it was done. The quality of the work was outstanding—truly 5 stars. Kudos to Mike and the entire Insignia Landscape team!

Too much stuff in too small of a space.

One of the few Walmarts where i found actual cashiers near closing time. I didn't get her name, but she reminded me of my grandma and was SUPER nice! Now that I said that, they will probably remove cashiers at night and fire the only nice Walmart cashier left in existence... 🙄 Walmart, you gotta do better.

Home Depot is usually always a good trip. No complaints!!!

Mostly plants. There are most of the other things you might need for lawn/garden. Landscaping resources are limited.

Certain things were out of stock. Some of the plants looked sad

Today I found helpful employee! Plant selection +\-....prices are higher than Lowe's on some items.

Place had amazing plants and lots of seeds. Also their planting recommendations were on point!

The flowers are beautiful this time of the year. I don't do gardening but it is refreshing to see all of the colorful flowers.

Healthy plants, decent selection. Long line to checkout in the garden section (busy weekend day.)
