Zach, at the perkins location, was absolutely amazing. He stayed with me and answered so many questions. Even had other team members help out.
What a great asset all of the staff are. Zach knows his stuff. He even loaded my car and packed everything in such a thoughtful way.

Trey and Marshall were great! Marshall was a huge help getting our tree loaded up and even took a great picture of us with our son for his very first Christmas tree!

Great selection of Christmas trees for the holiday time. Trees might be a little on the pricey side, but certainly worth a gander if you've got the cash to spend. If anything, check them out for the wonderful smells

Besides having the most beautuful flowers, plants and so much more, their staff is full of knowledge and willing to help, answer any questions you could possibly have! I love love this place! Dropped by today trying to find this specific green maintenance free plant that I lost in our wonderful Louisiana freeze! I had the pleasure of meeting Rebecca in my best sumnary: "human nursery"! What an amazing knowledgable woman! She researched their inventory and the red light went off in her human nusery brain! She said they don't stock it but she brought same plant from her personal stock she had at home! She proceeded to give me a cutting and said plant and enjoy! Wow today not only did I get a free clipping, I met a new friend and my official go to person at La Nursery on Perkins! I hope La Nursery is aware of your knowledge, dedicated emloyee! I consider Rebecca an asset to the Louisiana Nursery family indeed!

Phil helped me today to find exactly the right color flowers, finding me after he had helped to show me others he thought I might prefer, which I did. Entire staff was helpful and professional, as always!

LA Nursery always has a great selection of plants and outdoor items. The staff is very helpful - I have received excellent customer service on numerous occasions from a variety of employees. They even help you load up soil/mulch into your car.

Phil was quite helpful in my not so normal search of plants for my tortoise he was very careful to point out some of the plants i selected may have pesticides and could potentially harm her saving me a vet bill down the road 🫶

I love Louisiana Nursery on Perkins. I am not a master gardener, and the staff here is always willing to help me learn how to care for my plants. Excellent customer service and incredible finds!

Phil was very helpful and kind. He graciously took the time to re-pot 2 small Christmas cactuses into a larger pot for me! Thanks Phil for going above and beyond!

They have a wide selection of plants and pots. The plants are healthy and it is maintained well but my problem is with service. I am a 67 y/o woman trying to maneuver a big flat plant cart filled with plants I am purchasing with many young men standing around watching. Not one person offered to help. I pulled & pushed & got to check out & said I guess this is self-serve & met with blank stare. After she checked me out & I paid my almost $200 I thought she would ask if I needed help but no. I pushed & pulled the cart out & I loaded all into my car. When I was finishing a young man approached and I said oh you want to help now!? Well it’s too late! But he was only there to collect the now empty cart. I complained to him with little response. Hence the two star rating. Manager you need to have a long stern talk with your employees!

The staff at LA Nursery on Saturday night 12/09/23 was great helping to pick out evergreens and pots on sale inside to Marshall loading the dirt on the outside. I just wish I was carrying cash for a tip! Next time. Thank you!

Great gardening center with staff that is always willing to help and are very knowledgeable regarding gardening and landscape. Plants are beautiful and healthy and prices reasonable. Would highly recommend this business to others and be assured that whatever you buy there is plants that are compatible to our zone (which you won't get in the 'big box ' stores).

The best customer service at LA Nursery. Phil was so patient and happily helped me locate all of the plants I needed for my planters!

Had been looking for a fiddle leaf fig and found ourselves at the nursery 10 minutes to close (so sorry about that!). We were treated so warmly despite this, and were told there would be lots more to choose from once the weekend was over (lots of cuties in stock though), which was so appreciated. We were also introduced to Beans the nursery cat, and are looking forward to meeting Ash when we go back for our fiddle leaf. Left with a beautiful Monstera and lovely experience. I have found that the plants here are healthier than what I purchase elsewhere. Usually I’m struggling with some plants due to clay soil but this year everything I purchased seems to be doing better than those from a competitor. It is very rare that I end up with a plant that’s root bound. Their prices are a little more than the other stores on some plants but I’m not digging up dead plants as much as before. I also find that their plants have a lot less weeds being transferred which is a plus because who wants to deal with additional weeds?

Matthew was very knowledgeable and patient in helping me find the perfect Christmas tree. He even told me about Tree Preserve to extend the life of my tree. (I've never bought one this early, so I am relieved to have bought it.) Ms Denise made the checkout process a breeze, too.

I’m not one to leave reviews but I felt moved with my experience recently and compelled to leave this review for genuine good /in a positive way. I feel we all should stop and take the time to praise one another as it’s so dire in today’s world for more Godly light in humans, positivity and kindness to all.
I wanted to leave a review for Phil, Perkins Road,Louisiana Nursey Associate who was more than exceptional. Not only did he stop to ask when passing if he could help in anyway, he was genuinely kind, a wonderful listener and taught me along the way about the plants we looked at for my urns. When I went plant shopping again (less than two weeks) for more to add in areas, he noticed me and stopped his work to come walk with me every step of the way just as he did the first time. To say the least his warm welcome, his genuine kindness, his gentleman gestures from pushing the cart , helping in picking each tree/plants up and loading it on the cart which I only intended to do myself, walking with me, get protective paper for my car to loading my SUV and making sure they were carefully placed and secure would make one stop and take in such extended efforts and care as this isn’t common any longer today. It was to say the least a breath of fresh air.
Yes, it may be someone’s job but when there is selflessness and one genuinely moving/acting with their heart is what makes Phil a shining light that was so brightly obvious in today’s dark world. What a gem you have Louisiana Nursery!! May this review be read by the owners and may you Phil who does this everyday to everyone/stranger you encounter, when no one is watching, be recognized significantly for your selfless character and being such an exceptional gentleman and asset to this company. (Including your two degrees in Horticulture )

Super friendly and helpful staff are one of the main reasons we make this the first place we go for plants and gardening. The location is packed with a wide variety of items and the outdoor nursery is well maintained with an overwhelming variety of plants. You can easily spend an hour here. Parking is much easier than the big box stores in town and the staff is very reliable when it comes to helping you load your car.

Phil went the extra mile to help me replant and arrange my succulent tank! He also took the time to talk me through the care for the tank so I hopefully don't have another crash. I couldn't be more happy with the level of customer service.
