I haven’t been super happy with this company since they bought Dugas Pest control out. We don’t get much warning about techs coming out, then they don’t come at the time they say they will. Today the technician added baits, but they are above the ground.

I would like to specifically compliment Dylan, who services the Baton Rouge area, for taking the time to explain his findings. He did so in a way that was easy to understand. This wasn’t something that was required but rather something he chose to do. I really appreciated his extra effort. JA-ROY is lucky to have such a valuable team member.

Most recently, the team quickly connected me with Tyrielle the same day I called to report a problem. She was able to address my concern via text by identifying the ants and was spraying inside my home the very next morning. I appreciate her insight, thoroughness and speed. The ants were gone within 24 hours of me calling about them 🚫🐜 and there was no cost as this is part of my ongoing services!

My yearly termite inspection was scheduled for 2 weeks ago, no one showed up or called. Since then I have repeatedly called to reschedule and have been told each time that someone would call me for this and no one ever has. It was a huge mistake to sign a contract with this company, time now to report them to the Better Business Bureau.

I had a very positive experience and was genuinely pleased with the results. Everything was handled efficiently and with care, and the quality speaks for itself. It’s clear that attention to detail is a priority here. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will gladly return in the future.

We have worked with JA-ROY for several years for our regular home pest control, but we recently had to call in the big dogs for a squirrel issue. The JA-ROY staff was fabulous and helped us resolve the issue very quickly. Our assigned person was Anthony Albert, who was always timely and professional when he had to come to our house and check the traps. He was a great communicator and made a stressful situation so much easier. We appreciate JA-ROY and Anthony!

Very professional and they were very quick to come out and deal with my issue. Our Tech Jasmine Explained the process and was very thorough with spraying our house. Definitely will be doing business again soon and will ask for her again.

Mrs. Debbie is always a pleasant sight. She always makes sure that our location is thoroughly treated and specifies what exactly she's treating for, what kind of vermin and pest are starting to take effect. For instance we noticed signs of mice and she gave me a breakdown of locations where they seemed to be mostly. Even gave advice on how to prevent moths from being brought in. Mrs. Debbie is simply amazing, dedicated to her job, extremely knowledgeable, and respectful. We appreciate you ma'am for taking care of us!! Also...whoever is her boss, I feel she needs a raise, and dont hand her a ladder to give her one either

I was so shocked to see a young lady as my technician but I was very well pleased with my service. She was very knowledgeable on any of my random questions. She even offered me a suggestion on my wasps/hornet issue. If I could select to have her as the only technician that comes to my home I'd sign up right away. I told her I would leave her a good review because she is the reason I'll keep my service with JaRoy

I have been having this agency for termite control for my house for more than 15 years but in recent times I have been too disappointed with their service. When it was Dugas, they were offering very good service. But since they became Ja-Roy, their service has suffered greatly. The last two years they were not keeping their scheduled appointments (annual appointments whenever the contract was renewed) promptly. They would miss the scheduled appointments and needed to be called to reschedule the appointments! Even when the appointments were rescheduled, the technicians either would not show up on time or not show up at all! They again needed to be called to reschedule!! On another occasion related to animal control, neither they showed up on the scheduled appointment nor heard from them again! I had not experienced this kind of POOR, callous service in the past. Now the time has come to renew my contract again. Needless to say, I have to look for another agency.

Ms. Jo....a great technician. She was very helpful and understanding. You can tell that she cares about her job. She made sure that she got our account straight!

Bruce,( Pest Tech), Always delivers a 5 Star service. He is very polite and professional with vast knowledge about the industry, always answers any and all questions we may have about products and services! Bruce is an asset to your company and speaks highly of his chain of command. I personally, wouldn’t want to use anyone else or any other Pest Control Company! RNA/ Ja-Roy is by far the Best in Industry.

Our service tech Cory arrived right on time and was very professional. He addressed all our concerns and gave us good advice on what to do in the future to prevent any issues that may occur. Very satisfied with the service today. I highly recommend these guys.

One of the most uninspiring, incompetent business I've ever dealt with. They discovered termites 1 month ago, then couldn't be bothered to follow up for any appointments, only after multiple conversations on a daily basis would someone come out and then claim that we don't have termites.
Can't schedule, can't take the intuitive to follow up on their discoveries to do their job. Complete chaos and maddening service. Don't use. Terminix owns this company too. Stay away from both.

JA-ROY seems incapable of communicating with customers unless it is annual billing that is due. For THREE straight years since acquiring Dugas, I have had a technician call me while on my property wanting access, which could not be accommodated due to multiple dogs that need to be secured.

Last year I spent 30 minutes on the phone with a scheduling manager that seemed to realize an issue on their end with the scheduling emails not being sent to me. He assured me the issue had been remedied.

Again, today, I receive a phone call about a "scheduled" appointment that I knew nothing about because JA-ROY is incapable of communicating in advance.

Perhaps JA-ROY's accounting division should take over scheduling because they seem to be the only group capable of successfully communicating with customers.

Upon asking how to go about cancelling my service I was told that I could "Call the Regional Center".

I will be taking my business elsewhere (returning to a truly local provider) and I suggest anyone reading this do the same if you value the common courtesy of timely communication...or any communication at all.

UPDATE: After requesting a return call (two separate times) from anyone capable of processing the cancellation of my termite service contract, I received a refund of my annual service fee in May 2025 without contact ever being made.

Today, 7/17/25, I received another visit from a technician to perform the annual inspection. It seems the communication issue with Ja-Roy Pest Control isn't limited to just external customers, but also with their technicians.

UPDATE #2: After cancelling the service twice (yes, you read that correctly) and finally having the bait stations removed after the second cancellation...I thought I was done. I was wrong. Despite the two cancellations, removal of bait stations, and a report documenting the removal of bait stations and cancellation of services...I just received a text message thanking me for being a valued customer and wanting to schedule my inspection.

I couldn't get communication to schedule my inspection while I was a customer, but after cancelling the service (twice) and having the bait stations removed, I am not receiving communication about scheduling my (non-existent) service.

Google really should allow for a zero star review.

Curt was very accommodating and easy to work with He was very friendly, fast and professional. He offered to come back in between services if there was ever a need.
