So I rarely if ever post reviews, but I have to make an exception today. My refrigerator went out suddenly and I was frantic, because I keep very expensive medication in it for a chronic health condition. I called and Jack answered right away. He was on another job in Harahan and I live in Algiers, but said he'd come over right after. He showed up as promised, diagnosed and fixed the problem in very short time. He was professional and friendly, and even fixed our ice maker that we thought was broken for over a year! Price was very reasonable given it was 5pm on Friday of the July 4th weekend. I highly recommend!

My 3yr old LG refrigerator had a sheet of ice on the bottom of the freezer (bottom freezer unit), called Jack & he responded promptly. I told him the problem & stated I thought maybe the drain was clogged. He was in the neighborhood so he came by after 6pm. As far as I know he cleaned out the drain, charged $95. My friend, staying in my place, did not see exactly what he did to the refrigerator, she left the room. The next morning the sheet of ice had returned. Thursday I called and left a message & texted, my friend staying at my place was able to speak to him & told him the issue. He stated he would have to "Take Apart" the refrigerator and would come Friday between 2-3pm. I texted Jack twice Friday morning asking him to call me to discuss what he planned to do regarding repairs. I never heard from Jack nor did he ever contact my friend regarding the time he stated he would return to my property to make the necessary repairs. I am editing my original review because I have been in communication with Jack & he has apologized for not responding & not showing up on Friday. He had extenuating circumstances. I appreciate that he reached out and wanted to remedy the situation. I would use him again.

I had an issue with my washer not draining. Jack showed up and asked a few questions and realized the issue. He was very quick at reacting to the problem and helped me with understanding some areas of concern and was very professional. I would recommend his services to anyone. Recently relocated to Gretna Louisiana and needed my washer and dryer serviced. Pulled up service companies in area and reviewed what customers were saying about each company and decided on City Wide Appliances. Spoke with Jack, I believe that’s his name , at the office and he advised he would have his technician give me a call and schedule a visit. Robert called shortly and advised he was on the way. Once he arrived he went to work and had both units working in no time. Wonderful service and I am so happy !!’ I have there number listed in my contacts for future use. Mr. Jack answered our call late on Friday, and had Mr. Robert here early Sunday! Mr. Robert & his son were very knowledgeable, helpful, and dutiful. They had our dryer back up & running in 20 minutes! My husband said we are keeping them on speed dial!

No need to look any further! He came out the same day to fix our refrigerator. He said he would be here in 30 minutes and he was! He went straight to work. Finished quickly. Kept everything clean. Responded to all of our questions. He was friendly and helpful. And on top of all that he was so fairly priced. I cannot tell you who to choose as your repair guy but I can say, at least to give him a call.

We had a great experience with City Wide Appliance Repair. We called Jack at 6:00pm and he was there in 30 min. He figured out what was wrong with our refrigerator and had it fixed in 30min. He was very nice and professional and I'll will use City Wide again.

Jack was a great find with regard to fixing my refrigerator! I called, left a message and he called back moments later. At first he tried to walk me through what might be wrong, but when that didn't work, he was over in about an hour. He quickly diagnosed the problem, went to the parts store returned with the needed part, put it in and the frig worked great! The price wasn't bad either.

I called several places and either didn't get a response or was told there was no one available for the repair. I called Jack based on the great Google reviews I saw and he answered right away. He came out the same day and took care of the problem. His pricing was reasonable and he even gave us some tips on how to prolong the life of the freezer. I would definitely use him again and I highly recommend him!

I called Mr Jack about my Maytag which had stopped in the middle of a wash. He suggested I unplug it for an hour and see if the machine will reset itself… that possibly the tub was out of balance since I was washing a heavy sweater. He knows his craft! I was so happy when the machine started up again. Thanks, Mr Jack . I would recommend him to anyone…. Saved me lots of money I’m sure.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I called Citywide Services to make an appointment to fix my dryer (rotates but no heat). Jack Meyer was at my house two hours later!! He diagnosed the problem and will be back tomorrow to install a new heating element. That is the best service I have experienced!!! Thank you Jack. I appreciate your fast and professional service!!!

Called 5/26 to get a dryer fixed. They came out on 5/27 earlier than than expected. Knew what the problem was right away and took 15 mins. Awesome service

I called several people when my dryer stopped blowing hot air. Jack was able to come out the same day and diagnose the problem quickly. He came back the next day and repaired it in under 20 minutes. He even replaced my exhaust hose for free even though I told him that I would pay him to replace it. My dryer works great. Thanks Jack.

Jack Meyer saved our Christmas open house party! Our refrigerator had developed an unrepairable leak. He charged it up with our understanding that he could not promise how long it would last because of the nature of the leak. Unfortunately, the leak did occur again just before Christmas day.

Jack had to come out on Christmas Eve to “juice” it up again. We kept our fingers crossed, and he continued to check in with us several more times to make sure the fridge was still working in case he needed to come out again. What service!

It did make it through Christmas. However, if it wasn’t for Jack our Christmas open house would have been a very unpleasant and nerve racking experience.

In addition, he was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant. I would recommend him highly.

I have used this company multiple times for repairs on my rental units. The technician Robert has been professional; moreover, he has gone over and beyond by providing additional suggestions for my appliances. I’m very pleased and their cost was minimal. I plan on using this company in the near future.

This dude is real. Was in a bad spot, being told by others that it needed to be replaced. He had to come out 2x on the weekend but it’s been running like a champ since. He is dedicated to helping his customers.

Edit: now he’s helping me pick a replacement fridge. Jacks only gear helping people.

Robert was fantastic in diagnosing the problem of my dryer not heating. It wasn't the dryer at all, turned out to be a problem with the gas line. Robert fixed it anyway and took care of my problem. Now my dryer works perfectly. He was punctual. Polite, knowledgeable and efficient. Wojld definitely recommend
