I had roof and interior water damage to my ceilings and floors after Ida. John was communicative, prompt, and ON BUDGET!! He and his team were on time, polite, and professional. I knew what was happening every step of the way and was consulted before anything was done. I would highly recommend John and his company. He is registered with the state and provides good honest work. Happy to have found a great contractor in New Orleans.

I would give John’s Contractor Service 10 stars if I could. My mother’s homeowners insurance company was threatening cancellation if certain repairs weren’t made. I had a very short window to get the repairs done. With less than a week before cancellation, John’s company inspected my mother’s residence, provided a written estimate for repairs and performed the services as stipulated in the contract. The work performed exceeded my expectations and the insurance company did not cancel my mother’s homeowners insurance. John was extremely professional and his employees were courteous and on time. I highly recommend this company and will call him again for any future work on my mother’s residence.

My experience with John’s Contractor Service was very professional and timely. He was very responsive to my concerns, and the work he did was completed to my satisfaction. He was honest and on the job throughout my project. I will call him again for all my home improvement/repair needs.

I highly recommend John's Contractor Services. I found John's Contractor Service via a Google search for contractors in NOLA. I needed extensive repairs to my upstairs bedroom, sitting room, bathroom and stairway due to damage from Hurricane Ida. John answered the phone when I called and he kept the scheduled appointment. John was professional, knowledgeable, patient, respectful, and most of all he was easy to talk to. He gave me a written estimate that my insurance company accepted. I was pleased with the workers as they arrived on time, worked a full day and they were always respectful of my home. The quality of the work and the finish repairs are perfect. Please take my words as gospel, you will not be unhappy if you choose John's Contractor Service.

I would not recommend John's contractor to anyone. John Stevens is unreliable, and a liar. He quoted a low price for a project at my house affected by termites and then once I hired him, he decided to jack up the price by over 20%. I initially asked him not to proceed with the project but he didn't and started the work leaving me no choice but to agree to the increase. He went on to do a lousy job not finishing the job and ruing the floors, carpets and the adjacent walls

Fast, High-quality work. He gave a very accurate timeline of what to expect. He also kept me in the loop with any changes. He left the Job site beautiful and clean. Highly recommend.

Conor did an amazing job! He possessed all of the skills anyone wants: excellent quality, attention to detail, quick communication, and he was always on time. He even upgraded the quality of cement poured for part of the job because he felt it would be better long-term. Highly recommend this man!

They built my house Uptown about 7 yrs and I have had issue after issue with the construction. The porch started to decay after the 3rd year but when I reached out to them about the problem I was essentially told that it was my fault. I called them recently to get an estimate to replace the wood and they told me that I'd have to do a complete tear off and it would be in the sums of over $4k. An inspector came out and I learned that half of my windows didn't latch properly because the were never installed properly to begin with. This caused me to sell my home for less than what it was worth.

I am very content with the service provided from this company, the staff is super friendly and professional. The work done on my house speaks on its own. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reliable construction company. and the spanish is a plus, just about everyone in that company is bilingual. Great job done!!!

After Hurricane Ida made landfall and damage my home, I called Colmex Construction at 10:30am. They arrived at my house at 1:30pm. that afternoon.
Colmex did there inspection and immediately put a plan together to restore my home back to pre- Hurricane condition.

The Colmex team worked with our organization, Louvis Services to build our first tiny house duplex for people who are unhoused. They are easy to work with, great communicators and problem solvers. They are team players and worked closely with the architects and engineers. They delivered a quality product on time!

Colmex Construction LLC built my home and it's very well made and quite solid! Even my neighbors agree with their construction! I have had nothing but outstanding service from this company.
