I am the property manager for a large commercial building in Covington, La. Elyod Construction was contracted to do a commercial roofing job. The work was outstanding and professional. Communication more than timely. A well organized and very ethical company . I would highly recommend Elyod Construction.

We originally came across Elyod Construction when we were trying to determine how to cool down our house in summer. The HVAC guys we were dealing with were crooks trying to up sell us on an outrageously expensive AC system that probably would not solve our problem. I stumbled upon Elyod when searching for attic insulation (our attic is 130 degrees in the afternoon sun).

I can’t speak highly enough about these guys. Any time we tried to contact them we got answers almost immediately. They were constantly checking in on the work during the job and left our house just as clean as they found it. The spray foam insulation in our attic is definitely working as our house is now 3-4 degrees cooler than this time last year! Our attic is no longer a scorching 130 degrees at 5 in the afternoon but a tolerable 90, which is a huge help to maintaining a cool temperature in our house. If you are thinking about spray foam insulation in your house, I would recommend Elyod Construction.

I had a terrible experience with Elyod Construction and would not recommend them to anyone. I hired them to install my fortified roof in 2024. They caused damage to my property and refuse to take responsibility. There is a sag in my roof for which they used some form of glue as a sealant, they took flashing off the chimney and left it lying on the roof, gaps were left at the edge of the roof, and killed my hedges and grass all along the front of my home. My hedges did not recover. The roofer brought children with him. There were gaps at the edge of the roof. They refuse to mediate until I pay them the amount I withheld for repairs. The owner places blame on the evaluator, home builder, and HVAC company. It is incredibly frustrating working with a company that lacks professionalism and integrity. Save yourself a hassle and look elsewhere for reliable service.

I contacted Elyod to get a quote on a reno job, flooring, paint, lights, baseboards, etc. Within a day or two I received an itemized quote so I knew exactly what was going to cost what which allowed us to make small adjustments. The work was done extremely well, on time, and on budget. One of the coolest parts is the app that they use to share progress photos of the job at different stages of completion.

I was planning to do a full kitchen remodel myself but decided to outsource it to Elyod Construction, and I’m glad we did! From concept to completion, their team was professional, kept the job site clean, communicated throughout the process, and didn’t leave until we were 100% satisfied with the finished product. We absolutely love the fresh new look, marble countertops, and the extra cabinet space they created for us by taking out the old double oven. I even had space to add a wine fridge!!

Two time customer here. In 2022 Eagle Eye Resources did a fantastic job repairing my fourplex in New Orleans after two hurricanes during the pandemic.

We engaged Eagle Eye Resources to do almost a whole house remodel that included creating my wife’s dream kitchen and two Short Term Rental suites upstairs in our 1920 built home. The work began and then the pandemic started. Because my mom was living with us I expressed our concerns and these guys accommodated us by halting the project mid-stream. Once mom went through hospice, they came back and continued the work, masked up.
The results are beautiful. They completely addressed all our concerns during the process and made sure we were completely satisfied and happy wit the results. We’ve had nothing buy raves from friends and family about our beautiful kitchen and the opened connected entertainment space, which was better than expected because we thought there would have to be a support post where they did beam the beam work to clear the line of sight. Guests have given us 5 stars for their upstairs suite accommodations. Needless to say, we are very happy that we engaged this considerate and professional team to handle our project.
