LGD Lawn and Landscape completed underground drainage on the side of my house. Water was collecting on the rear of my home near my air conditioning units. Colin, the owner, came out and gave me a quote. I was worried the project would not work or go as planned, but LGD was very reassuring, answering all of my questions, and reassured me that they knew exactly what needed to be done to fix the issue. A crew of five, led by Jose, worked an entire day and completed the project. They used high quality materials. The crew was courteous, professional, and provided excellent workmanship. And when the project was completed, they installed limestone. They laid weed barrier before placing the limestone to prevent the limestone from sinking into the soil and weeds growing through. The completed project exceeded my expectations. I would recommend LGD Lawn and Landscape to my family, friends, and anyone who asks.

I recently had LGD installed a 600 sq putting green. They did an amazing job led be crew chief Wilmer. Owner Colin came out to the site a few days prior to go over all the details and map out the project. He and supervisor Alex were always responsive. The job took just under 4 days from start to finish. Highly recommend them for their professional work and also affordability!

Colin & his LGD Team were terrific! The end result was exceptional. My wife and I had a unique project in the NOLA Garden District. For years, we've struggled with an inability to grow grass, most plants or enjoy decent outdoor living space due to the volume of historic oak trees on our property and the green strip owned by the city. Take a peek at the photos or ask Colin for our street address as we own a home at one of the most active intersections for tourists. Just walk up and have a look. You WILL hire Colin and his LGD team. Together, Colin's team were able to convert an unconventional city owned green strip that was a mud pit and with the permission of Parks and Parkways, they did an artificial turf install exactly according to the "very sensitive" specs provided by the lead arborist, so safety of the oaks was preserved. Nearly everyone walking past our home stops and stares at the green strip and our highly visible patio and walkway. It's simply stunning. As an entrepreneur, communication is key. I assure you Colin will overcommunicate with you and put his eyes on a project while addressing ideas that may not come to mind. Colin visited us twice prior to the project starting. His bid was submitted promptly and priced appropriately. Colin was on site during the hardscape process and while my wife and I were traveling when the time came to install the turf, he assured us we would arrive home with the project completed and we would embrace what we would see. He was dead on with the assessment and project management. My wife was elated upon the return home to see an eye-opening job well done! Just hire they guy and don't think twice. His resume now includes our home as a strong endorsement of the LGD abilities.

I can’t say enough good things about LG&D. They’ve completed two projects for me that include underground drainage, installation of turf, landscaping and irrigation. Colin really knows his stuff. Crews are very professional, through, and tidy. I’m blown away by such a positive interaction. Very seldom now days that you deal with companies that over delivering.

My husband and I are absolutely amazed and impressed by my contractor that filled in our pond, installed all artificial turf, new gardens, new patio, and new fire pit seating area in the back of our Mandeville home. 20 year warranty on the product. These guys installed it in eight days flawlessly . We have three dogs. We were so sick of the usual battle in Mandeville of trees, mud and flooding. I highly recommend them! His name is Colin Casey. He’s the only licensed contractor of this product here in New Orleans and Mandeville area. Name of the company LG+D Landscape out of Nola. 

LGD was one of the two companies we reached out to for a quote for turf in our backyard. Not only were they less expensive than the other company but were more responsive, detailed, and efficient. The owner of the company came out himself to do the quote which is always a nice touch. He was super personable and informative, even offering for us to take a look at his yard that was turfed to get an idea of how it looked in person. His employees worked hard through 5 days of straight rain to complete the job on time. They were courteous and considerate of our time and space. Will definitely reach out to Colin and his company for any more work we need done in the future.

Can't say enough about how much I enjoyed working with Colin and his entire team at LGD. From bid to execution, they got it right. LGD turned our virtually unusable backyard into something we'll enjoy most of the year. The pictures should speak for themselves. The first one is the 'before' picture.

5 stars aren’t enough… If I could give 500 stars I would! I could not be more satisfied with the artificial turf installation job done by LGD! The new grass looks and feels amazing. The pictures speak for themselves, but I will give some details.

Despite my best efforts, my backyard used to be a mess. I have always been the type of guy who loved to keep my yard looking great, but I could not keep my backyard looking or functioning the way I wanted. Heavy rains would cause significant amounts of water to pool up in my patio area, taking days to fully dry out. The yard itself would remain soggy and largely unusable for days after a storm. I have a young daughter who loves to be outside. I also have two dogs (Bassett Hound and Shi Tzu) that would often come back in the house with wet and muddy paws after going outside. Not having a functioning backyard was not great for us. I started to look for solutions.

After months of researching and considering my options, I eventually decided that I would have artificial turf installed – a job that also included fixing my drainage issues. I got several quotes and LGD was the most reasonable. They also had incredible reviews. It was a no brainer to choose them.

The process was very smooth. I first reached out to Colin with LGD in late June of 2023. He communicated very well via text and phone calls. He was able to work with my schedule and actually coordinated to get the turf installation project done while I was on vacation so we didn’t have to worry about my dogs and kid not having a backyard for a week. That would have been a nightmare! I met with Colin and his foreman (Alex) the day before I left for vacation to do a walkthrough of my yard. I could tell my project was in great hands. In a 10-minute walkthrough, Colin and Alex were able to plan out exactly what needed to be done to address my issues and make sure I was satisfied.

I had unusable areas in my backyard along my fence line due to lack of grass growth, mud, multiple crepe myrtle stumps, and various other junk in the yard. I also had a junk/wood pile near my patio that LGD got rid of for me! By getting rid of those stumps, junk, and my junk/wood pile, the new turf project gave me hundreds of square feet of additional usable backyard!

Imagine my excitement when I returned from vacation to see the new yard in these pictures. I wish I had before-and-after photos to highlight how great of a job they did! Sure, it looked great, but what about my drainage issues? That question would be answered within hours. A heavy storm rolled in the night we returned. After an hour of extremely heavy rain, I had ZERO water pooled up in my patio. Before the LGD job, that rain storm would have resulted in about half of my patio having water several inches deep. I’m still amazed at how well the drainage system performed.

Oh and the dogs LOVE it! You can see the Bassett Hound sunbathing in one of the pictures. It took my dogs a couple of days to realize they can potty on the new grass, but now they understand the assignment. Poop comes off easily with a shovel. If there is any residue left over, I simply hose it off and it drains into the turf just as if it was regular grass and soil. I have not noticed any sort of odor left over.
Is it cheap? No. Is it worth it? Absolutely! I will never have to spend time and energy trying to keep up with my backyard again!

My only negative would be that the turf gets pretty hot to the touch when in direct sunlight. My Bassett Hound can still lay on it, but he also likes to lay on hot concrete in the middle of the summer. It cools quickly and you can simply hose it off if you need your bare skin on the turf for any reason.

I will come back to update this review, because I am also getting LGD to provide lawncare and flower bed upkeep services in my front yard. I can now sell my lawn equipment and spend my weekends with my family instead of maintaining my yard!

BEST money you will ever spend! I have struggled for 15 years with having nice, lush grass in my backyard. After laying 1 more pallet of sod only to get a fungal disease 6 weeks later, I was done!! Artificial turf was the way to go. Collin and the entire team at LGD were fantastic from the lady in the office to the crew of workers who worked for 3 solid days in this extreme heat. I decided I wanted to make a little change in the design AFTER it was already laid out and I felt bad asking to change it but the guys didn’t blink an eye and gave me exactly what I wanted.

I hired them to do a small space in my yard last year and loved it so much, I had them come back and do the entire yard this year. They spruced up my landscaping along the way too. Don’t let the sticker shock turn you away, it’s a long term investment and worth Every single penny.

I am beyond pleased with the work. The work exceeded my expectations, they finished on time, and they stuck to the bid price. Colin truly listened to me and my vision for the property. He helped with plant selection and seemed to genuinely care about helping me achieve my goal.

The workers were diligent, considerate, and friendly. They finished in the 3 days he told me they would (with a little time to spare on the third day).

Working with LGD over the last 1.5 years, they’ve completely transformed our yard from a weedy construction dump site to a gorgeous tropical oasis. They’ve rebuilt the space from the ground up - laid new sod, re-leveled for proper drainage, set up drainage and irrigation, built a gorgeous patio, and designed and planted garden beds that are not only beautiful but easy to maintain.

We relied heavily on Colin’s expertise and recommendations. What felt really unique is he also partnered with an architect to help optimally design the space. We used LGD to install a brick paver driveway. Didn’t expect it to turn out as good as it did. No issues, clear communication, quick and professional, cleaned up after themselves. 10/10 would recommend.

This company took my mothers money and barely did anything!!! We have to have another plumber come and do the work they didn’t do. Do not use them!! They do little work to get payments then don’t show up anymore.

DON’T DO IT!! Our house still isn’t finished after 2 months of this company working on it. The things that were completed was don’t wrong! We paid this company and we are now having to pay more money to another company to fix their several mistakes!!

This company changed our house with their siding work. I would surely suggest them to anyone who wants good siding.

They did better than we thought with their fence work. The fence looks great, and the skill is top-notch. Pro team all the way through.

Considering the caliber of the personnel and materials employed, their siding job was superb and fulfilled our expectations!

I am really happy with the bathroom renovation that I had done. The group took my concepts and made them a reality. The room feels considerably more practical and opulent now that every element has been carefully considered.
