Tim and Pro T are the best in the business. Not only do they take care of your lawn and garden, but Tim truly educates his clients on the science behind plants, grass, etc. He is a problem solver and not just a "maintenance company". While most people let their grass die in the winter bc they do not know any better, Tim recommends Perennial Rye Seed leading to the greenest grass in the city.

These guys are great. A good job done every time & very reasonable pricing. I definitely can recommend them highly. I saw a recommendation through Nextdoor Neighbor, am very happy with their service. The guy who does the lawn, Juan, is quick & efficient. Better than any other lawn service I've ever used & I've been living at my home since 1995. Thanks guys!

Absolutely awful…the guy they sent ripped out our grass and lawnstarter did not compensate or arrange for repair.

Hey did yall forget about me??? I had talked to someone about helping me reclaim my yard. That was almost a month ago! No one has come out to set up any prices or even look at my property. I've already had a heat related injury out here and wouldn't like that to happen. I'm a disabled vet and there isn't much I can physically do out here.

Love the company and the services they provide! It is so easy to set up to have your lawn cut weekly or biweekly and the prices are great too. The guy that was assigned to do my lawn is Raymond, he does a great job every time he comes. If you haven’t tried this service before I suggest you give it a try.

We have received lawn care from Lawn Starter for at least 5 years, but their service has been deteriorating for at least the past 2-3 years. They will post that service has been completed, when no service has been received. The provider keeps rescheduling our service without our input and sometimes doesn't show up until he's ready. So, we are on the phone trying to cancel and they are insisting on a balance due for service that has not yet been provided. I have been on the phone for 30 minutes, trying to cancel by way of a supervisor, but to no avail! UGH!!! We will not refer any friends and hope to cancel service without issues.

I actually spoke with a person over the phone after being sent multiple texts offering services. The person on the phone was nice and sent me dates that crew would come out but then day of services I was saw that is was canceled and if I wanted anything done I'd have to pay and set up a another appointment. When I contacted their customer service they advised there were no crews in my area period, let alone one that could come in the future. Don't waste your time.

Literally the least professional company I have ever experienced. The customer service is terrible, lawn care providers can cancel your service without providing a reason. I signed up for lawn service on August 29. It is September 7 and my lawn has still not gotten cut. I’ve called customer service three times, and they have not been able to help me. Unreliable, unprofessional, complete waste of time. Do not use this service for any reason at all. Absolute garbage.

Edit: even wilder that they managed to respond to this review within 12 hours, but have yet to respond to either of the emails I've sent in the past few days.

I was previsouly with this Lawn Starter a few years back and used them for a couple years. I temporarily stopped service in 2021 after my routine Lawn Starter crew, which I adored, quit the business. I resumed service with Lawn Starter in March 2023 and I must say I am very disappointed. I was with the service for over a month with weekly scheduled cuttings. During that time no crew ever came to my property. They attempted to send two different service crews after I complained of weeks going by without cuttings. Both crews continued to cancel and reschedule my cuttings against my wishes and eventually failed to show and ceased communication all together. I was then informed by Lawn Starter that no further crews could/would be sent. For being a previous customer of theirs and having a track record of on time payments with zero complaints in the past I feel that I have been used abominably by this company and would not recommend this lawn service company for reliable lawn servicing in the future.

Signed up on July 10, 2022 for lawn service for July 22, 2022. They set it for July 22, 2022- July 25, 2022. July 29, 2022 they informed me I will not get service because there was no one to do it. This company is a joke. They wouldn't let me cancel because I had to do three services first. I couldn't get them to come out for one service let alone three. I wish they would allow me to remove my card info off the page and completely delete my account. I want nothing to do with this company. Question that's asked to give this review is.... did I use this business. Well sadly no they never bothers to meet my simple needs. A need for my lawn to be cut. Save your time and money and call your own lawn care service.

I’ve been using LawnStarter for several months and I could not be happier with the experience. Robert takes exceptional care of my lawn. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and I have never had a single issue. The app for scheduling and payment is so easy to use, and my lawn always looks fabulous. Even my husband is impressed (and thrilled that he no longer has yard duty). I highly recommend LawnStarter for all your lawncare needs.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! This company has some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They sent a crew to my house to cut my lawn with a weed whacker! The lawn was completely uneven and I called them to request someone come fix the job. Their response was to offer me a $15 credit. They refused to send out anyone to fix the horrible workmanship and told me that if I wanted another crew to come out before my next scheduled visit in two weeks, I would have to pay full price! Obviously I canceled immediately! This company doesn’t deserve my business and shouldn’t be trusted with anyone’s business! Terrible company!

Dealt with this company when I first purchased my home in 2018, and had to unfortunately cut ties with them in 2020 because their contractors often had one price in mind, when LawnStarter quoted me a different rate, the days of service were inconsistent, and the contractors often did the bare minimum for the lawn, although I often paid for additional services like hedge trimming. Now, LawnStarter has purchased Lawn Love and operate as if they are two separate companies, but are not. Same company, some mediocre service. **I posted under my screen name**
