We used Mullin Landscape to update our front gardens, repair our irrigation system and replace the sod. The design team was outstanding, truly listening to the level of care and types of plants we liked, and selected options that matched our preferences; the front gardens were reshaped to coordinate with the yard, trees and house design. The installation team was diligent, professional and did an outstanding job from start to finish. Looking forward to using Mullin again when we tackle the back yard.

Mullin just completed a full redesign and re-landscaping of the front and back yards of my new home in Old Metairie, and my experience with them was nothing short of excellent. I began the process by using their landscape design service. Martin Romero, the landscape architect that I worked with, was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and creative, and his response time to phone calls/emails/texts was scary fast. In addition, he stayed involved in the process from all the way through installation. The installation crew was always friendly, professional, and efficient--even in heat of July in New Orleans. Multiple members of the crew approached me during installation and told me, "if you don't like something, you let me know. I'll fix it." The same goes for Richard, the project supervisor, who kept open lines of communication throughout installation to make sure that I was 100% satisfied. Overall, I can't say enough good things about Mullin. It is an exceptional operation.

Mullin Landscape is one of the best Landscaping companies around. The crew takes pride in their work, the supervisors are always on site making sure I'm satisfied with the job they are doing. If there is an issue which is seldom I just make one phone call and the next day the issue is taken care of. But most of all when Mullin finish the job it's always a beautiful site to see.

From time to time, if you are lucky, you have a perfect experience with a company. That is certainly true for my experience with everyone at Mullin Landscaping and most specifically with Martin Romero. From a customer satisfaction perspective, Martin is the best!
He was available and affable and delivered perfect and timely communications 24/7!!
There were many changes to original design and were implemented cheerfully and exactly. Also, Graham and all landscape workers were great in every way. Their attention to detail was superior. I really cannot say enough about everyone and how thoroughly pleased I am with the whole experience and finished product. They far exceeded my expectations and for those who know me well, they would say it is unbelievable. Thank you so very much, Martin!

Previouly posted a positive review but need to amend since the sod delivered and installed by Mullin in June had a chinch bug infestation. As a result, it all died (2 months later)and had to be replaced at our expense. Further, the hardscape decking around pool contributed to pool discoloration and pool had to be replastered(4 months old) at our expense as well. Despite contract and attempts at communication to negotitate a compromise, Mullin did not assume any responsibiility for these issues or stand behind their sod product.

I’m very happy with the results of my backyard landscaping and pool. Every phase of Mullin’s project went well, starting with looking at my yard, listening carefully to my vision, and then creating a design that was a huge improvement over my imagination. They quickly understood what I wanted, provided options, and then we zeroed in on a plan. I hired Cornerstone Pools Inc. to build my swimming pool (who also did a great job), and Mullin and Cornerstone worked well together to include a great pool design in the landscape design.

After we defined the plan, Mullin was quick to get started, with the foresight to quickly order long-lead items, which in my case was Peacock Pavers. When the decking finally arrived, Mullin was ready to move quickly to execute the plan, even with impediments like Hurricane Ida and COVID. I always appreciated their attention to detail, their efforts to keep me informed on their schedule, and their eagerness to listen to me as the customer. I also appreciated the onsite crew and their efforts to do a quality job.

When they finished my project, I was very happy with the final product! I’m so happy that I’ve been talking to Mullin about some additional work I would like them to do for me.

We recently built a new home. We hired Mullin to install the (quite substantial) landscaping after receiving a recommendation from our contractor. (We used a highly regarded landscape architect to do the design, but chose to go elsewhere for installation as he was expensive and difficult to deal with.) We have also used Mullin for the maintenance and would recommend them for this. They are very dependable and make a real effort to keep you happy. There is one area of our landscaping that has proved difficult to keep green, but Mullin has continued to work to get it to thrive. They have replaced the plantings and reworked the irrigation a couple of times--at no additional charge--to get it right. Eric, who oversees our property, has been great to work with.

I highly recommend Mullin. I bought a new house last December with a huge back yard and unfortunately a water/flooding issue that was not evident to me when I bought the house. I had a neighborhood company install drains initially, but the drains did not perform well. I was at my wit's end. Thank goodness I found Mullin! Not only did Mullin create a beautiful, flowing, inviting design for the huge space, they solved the water issue by relocating and adjusting and augmenting the drains, and proper grading and sloping of soil and beds, etc. Matt took me through each phase of the process from initial measuring, to plan/design, choice of trees (some for privacy - some ornamental) and shrubs and flowers, to installation, tips on maintenance and ideas for future additions of plantings and/or a fountain), and how to program/set the irrigation system, which is a Godsend. I never have to worry that the new plantings and trees won't have enough water. Matt took all of my ideas and "must haves" and brought them to life. He and the Mullin team really created a lovely space that I enjoy every day and will add to each season. My favorite place to be is my back porch. Thanks again, Matt and your team!

We recently used Mullin Landscape Associates for a landscape project on our campus. We have also recently started using their lawn maintenance services for our Church and School campus at St. Paul's Episcopal. We were extremely satisfied with the multiple 100gallon tree and shrubbery installation. They installers completed the work in such a reasonable time frame, and more importantly there work was top notch! They were professional and personable and we enjoyed watching their appreciation for the work they performed. There lawn maintenance team has been awesome! Our campus is often highly travelled by parents and children. The crew has gone above and beyond to make sure our families are safe while they work there magic making our campus beautiful! I'm so pleased with my garden, having now seen it go through a spring and fall season! Matt considered all of my ideas and incorporated them into a design that was better than I imagined. The crew that installed the garden and watering system did a great job and made sure I was familiar with its operation. The plants are healthy and thriving! It’s been very easy to maintain and I’ve gotten my questions answered right away when I had questions about pruning. I would absolutely use Mullins again and would highly recommend them to others!

We wanted to share with you the most recent positive experience we had with Mullin Landscape Associates (Mullin). After the removal of a huge oak tree struck by lighting, Kevin Hezeau of Mullin has done a great job getting our backyard back into shape, which included planting a new oak tree and reworking the beds and walkways. Kevin always makes himself available and he is attentive to very detail and we can be picky.

Mullin has done work for use for over 10 years and if you hire them you will have made a good choice.

We were recommended to Mullin 5 years ago and were so lucky to have Martin as our go-to landscape architect planning guru. During the past 5 years and 3 phases of our project, he always listened to our thoughts and showed us other options that we might not have known about which might be a better fit in some areas. He shows us pictures of various styles and explains how they will grow in during the next few years. Martin was always very understanding of our plan and always looked to help us ensure the we see the complete picture of the end product. He constantly revisits/tweaks as the project begins then the installation takes over! The Mullin workers are very nice and always clean up the job site. Martin always returns emails and/or phone calls in a very timely and professional manner. We very highly recommend Martin and Mullin Landscape and our friends constantly compliment our landscaping!

Amazing! We contacted Mullins for what we initially thought would be some drainage work and landscaping. We met with Martin, landscape architect, who listened to our wish list and looked at pictures of our style. We explained to him our current needs and our five year plan which included a pool. Martin took our words and put them on paper and made it so much better then we could have ever imagined. Martin’s renderings were so amazing that we decided to do the entire project all at once but with a delayed start. Mullin was very understanding of our plan and we did not experience any pressure to move forward. Once we were ready- we revisited the plans, made some tweaks and then they took over! They handled every single component of this project which included: demolition of existing concrete exterior steps, construction of new steps, subsurface drainage, lattice trim under house, semi circle driveway, new fencing, landscaping including lights and a pool. Mullin navigated the entire projected including dealing with Jefferson Parish Code department. We had no headaches as their workers were very courteous to our neighbors and cleaned up the job site daily. Throughout the project, from planning to completion, we felt very informed about timeline and next steps. No emails or phone calls went unanswered- all responses were timely and professional. If we had to do it all over, we wouldn’t change a thing!

I am new to town and our decorators recommended Mullin Landscaping for our garden which needed an overhaul. From the beginning to the end of the project, I was blown away at the level of service, attention to detail, thoroughness, and customer service that each and every team member adheres to at Mullin. Matt, in sales, listened to every word I said and had a lot of creative ideas that improved the project. The 4 gardeners were so hardworking and meticulous. At the end of these types of projects, there often remains a few details that are left uncared for-- but, not in the case of Mullin. They came back a few times just to make sure everything was perfect: the irrigation system, lighting, etc. They are top-notch and worth every penny. When I drive around town and admire certain lawns, I am not surprised to see the Mullin signage out front!

Love the way our backyard turned out! Would highly recommend working with Mullin. From our initial design with Martin through the entire construction process, everyone was wonderful to work with. Every person from their team and the subs they recommend were excellent, everyone took pride in their work and cared about the details.

Mullin landscape did an amazing job on drainage and landscaping for my home. I receive compliments on their work on my front yard regularly. They were very professional and the workers were so nice.
