Stan, @ Appliance Repair was very good at keeping me informed about the processs of repairing my refrigerator and stove. He returned phone calls and texts in a timely fashion, (almost immediately everytime). He listened and was very understanding about everything. He was punctual and very informative as well. Nothing but goods things to say about my experience.
Thanks Again Stan -
Stan was extremely kind from the first time we spoke on the phone about my broken washing machine. He was able to accommodate the repair very quickly. He kept in touch with me and arrived on time to my house. He was able to determine the problem was the belt and proposed a repair plan right away. His pricing was fair and kind. I highly recommend Stan from Appliance Repair to fix any of your broken appliances.

Mr. Stan is awesome, very detailed, honest good
and reasonable prices, and flexible with timing especially when you have a job that you're scheduled to get off at 7pm. It's very rare to find companies that are with integrity, very professional, and with reasonable prices and willing to extend after hours service with no extra cost.
He refused to take any money if the repair can't be accomplished, unlike other appliances repair services. He honor his word and serving people!
Stan you're awesome!
Very satisfied customer ☺️! -
Great same day service. Really friendly and helpful for a good price. Very happy with the work on our dryer and will call them again when issues arise with my other appliances.

Please check YELP reviews first before booking this individual. Stan the tech was extremely disappointing. I'm not sure where all of the positive reviews are coming from, but this person is extremely unprofessional.
Stan was scheduled to come 1-3pm to look at my dryer. At 2:50pm, I never heard from him, so I texted him to confirm the appointment. He responded that he would arrive later. He finally shows up at 4:15pm. (No problem, stuff happens.) He then diagnoses the issue and states that it will cost $400 to fix and that he needed a $200 deposit and he will let me know by Friday at the latest once the part arrives. Friday comes, I don't hear anything so I reached back out. He states that he is still waiting on the part and he'll have it the following week and made an appointment with me for Monday, 2-4pm. On Monday at 3pm, still haven't heard from him, so I reached out again to confirm our appointment for 2-4pm. He simply replies "Yes".
It's now 5:40pm and still no word from him. I had plans at 6pm, so with him being nearly 2 hours late, I couldn't wait any longer. I asked him to refund $100 (half) of the deposit I paid since he was unable to complete the repair as promised. Immediately after I texted him, he miraculously gains the capacity to communicate. He calls me and blurts out that he is only 30 minutes away. I told him that I couldn't wait and to just refund me 50% of what I paid so we can be done.
He then asked if we could reschedule and I told him "No". I had already wasted a day off work waiting for him to show up, so I knew I needed to use another company for the repair. He then became frustrated and angry that I was not willing to reschedule the appointment with him.
Then he started desperately begging me to reschedule for another day and he "promised that he would show up that time or give me a full refund". It took every ounce of energy not to bust out laughing at him, because while he's begging me to reschedule over the phone, I'm reading online reviews that say "DON'T LET HIM RESCHEDULE! He will promise to show up but he won't!" LOL.
It was hilarious and pathetic at the same time.
He would only refund $50 out of the $200 I paid. There is more I could say about this individual but please beware and save yourself the headache and $150 of wasted money from dealing with this common grifter.
P.S. The new repair company came next day and ultimately refused to charge me to fix the dryer because it's an older unit and I could get a brand new unit for much less than it cost to fix it. I thought that was interesting. -
My 19yr old Frigidaire (GLHS238ZDSA) kept freezing up. The coils built a block of ice. This caused the top of the freezer to be warm and not freeze food or the ice maker. I initially defrosted and cleaned out the fridge. This worked until a few weeks later when it refroze. The second time I defrosted the top got warmer and after a weekend trip I came back to bad food and melted ice everywhere. Being an engineer I started troubleshooting. But not knowing exactly what to test, I first replaced the freezer fan motor MDL37B2. The fan looked like it wasnt spinning properly. Unfortunately, this didn't fix the issue. Upon further research I wondered if the defrost thermostat (5303918214) was the issue and replaced it. A few days later I noticed this wasn't the fix. My next step was going to be to replace the Defrost Heater (242044113) but at this point I was just guessing and replacing parts. This is where I called Stan. Luckily, he was available the same day and came over to see my issue. Like others comment, Stan is friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Since he saw how much I had already accomplished he showed me how to troubleshoot the heater and we got ~200ohms resistance which told us it was still good. Given this information Stan quickly mentioned that the issue has to be with the Defrost Control Board. He provided me with the p/n: 5303918476, which I ordered and replaced myself the next day. A week later and the fridge continues to work as expected. Stan's consultation was worth it.

Same day request, response and repair. Service was speedy and my dryer was up and running. Noticed the problem while I was washing clothes o/a10:30. Called Appliance Repair who was able to fit me into a busy schedule that same day and I was back in business by 2:30 that day. To say I was pleased would be an understatement. I was ecstatic and highly recommend Stan Hao.

I wanted to support a local business, but unfortunately my experience was very frustrating. I called this contractor when my refrigerator broke. He provided me with both a repair quote and options for purchasing a new fridge through him. The quotes for some
options of fridges he sent were much higher than what I could find at Lowe’s or Home Depot. After bargaining a bit, I agreed to pay a bit more to keep my business local.
When it came time to order, I was pressured for a deposit before receiving a final invoice. The invoice he eventually sent did not match our agreement: it had a higher price and listed the wrong fridge model. That model was actually cheaper than the one I had selected, yet I was being charged more for it. Because of this mistake and back and forth, the delivery date was also pushed back. At that point, I decided to cancel and purchase the exact same fridge directly from Lowe’s, where I was able to get a fridge sooner and at a better price.
Unfortunately, when the Lowe’s delivery team arrived, the fridge did not fit through my front or back doors. This made me realize the contractor had never measured my entryways before recommending models, which left me without a working fridge for two weeks while I found one that would fit / wait for it to come in.
In the end, I don’t believe the necessary care or attention to detail was taken. I would recommend choosing a different contractor for your services. -
Stay away. Stan arrived 2 hours late, called the manufacturer to get the diagnosis (which I had already obtained and told him), I had to follow up multiple times to get a quote, and the quote listed prices for parts that are twice or more than what is available from manufacturer. Seems he scams people by charging the 250 fee up front which he claims goes to price of repair but that price is so inflated, he gets paid either by suckering people into overpaying for repair or, if he fails at that, getting the 250 for showing up whenever and doing nearly nothing. Don’t waste your money on this scam.

Mr. Hao helped me at the end of a very frustrating time with a warranty company. He came out at 7pm to meet with me and was super friendly and professional. He got my old refrigerator removed and my new one installed the very next morning and this was for an appliance that I didn't even purchase from his business. I will contact him for any future needs.

I can’t say enough good things about Stan! I called him yesterday about my washer that wasn’t working, and he was able to come out immediately this morning. He quickly diagnosed the problem, found the issue, and corrected it right on the spot. Now my washer runs perfectly again.
Stan was professional, kind, and genuine the entire time. It’s rare to find someone who not only knows what they’re doing but also treats you with such respect and care. He does all types of appliance repairs, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need. If you want fast, reliable, and honest service…Stan is your guy! -
Stan was very prompt with his scheduling and visit. He kept me informed during the timing window and was very respectful of my time. Stan gave me advice on a possible warranty issue which allowed me to have the control board on my washing machine replaced free of charge. Stan truly looks out for his customers!

Stan rescued me from a flooding washer today. I am new to the area, and was not sure who to call. This business came up on Google search. Stan’s willingness to come after hours was a good start. He knew exactly what he was doing. Found the problem, fixed the problem, tested the fix, and cleaned up. I may be new to the area , but I will call him first for appliance repairs from now on. I am not related to this business, nor do I have a financial interest in it.

Stan set the appt. With me and texted me 30 minutes before arriving to provide a heads up that he was on his way. He was able to quickly troubleshoot the problem with the oven. Since he had requested the mfg. And model number proir to coming out, he arrived with available parts and was able to make the repair with just one visit. Friendly, polite, and respectful. Thank you Stan

Great service. I called on a Sunday because my GE profile all in one washer dryer combo stop draining. Stan probably took my call and responded to the house quickly. He diagnosed my drain pump went out. He ordered the part said he would be back Wednesday. Wednesday he came back that's my washer and I am back to washing again. Thank you Stan for your quick responses and excellent service. The prices are little pricey but all around he did an amazing job. I would recommend

My dryer stopped heating all of a sudden. Less than 3 years old. Called GE to send a tech. The tech came 2 weeks later without a reminder around 6pm. He clearly didn’t want to address the issue and mentioned he could just cancel the appointment. Anyhow a few weeks went by and I just asked around to a couple colleagues and friends and was referred to Stan Hao. He answered my call, set the appointment for 7:30am the next day. Came and fixed it. Took about 2 hrs. Very please and would highly recommend.

Fast service at a good price. Hard to ask for much more than that. I would definitely recommend.

I was very pleased with the service and professionalism of Mr. JHawk. He explained what happened to my dryer and what could have happened if we hadn’t had the repair done.
-
I had service completed by JHawk via Home Depot pros. Very good customer service and EXCELLENT pricing. Used for outlet installation and over the range microwave install
