Todd and his crew did a fantastic job renovating our house during COVID-19. Our house, in Butchers Hill, was a complete gut job. Todd did a great job preserving the history of the house while also giving it a modern look. We absolutely love our kitchen and master bedroom suite.

It was such a pleasure to work with One Source Contracting. We were fortunate enough to work with Todd and his team from the moment we bought our house who had creative and thoughtful design ideas to really improve our house and make it the perfect home for us. From the minute the work started until the very end, the team was easy to work with, respectful, and the work they produced was impeccable. The house was cleaned up every day after the work was complete. No stone was left unturned. People continuously comment on how gorgeous our home is and how amazing the renovations we did are. Todd's team provided us with the perfect blend of Baltimore history and charm with a modern feel. We could not be happier with the work.

I had lived in my modestly updated row home in Baltimore for 15 years before I decided to do a custom renovation. I met with several contractors and ultimately decided that One Source was the best fit for me. My remodel included extending the first two levels and adding a third level of living space. The entire team at One Source, from Todd and his construction team to the office staff, were wonderful and collaborated with me throughout the process. The craftsmanship and attention to detail went above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend one source for any construction or remodel project.

We highly recommend Todd and the One Source team. They did a significant remodel on our house including a completely new kitchen (down to the studs), a new master bathroom (including moving walls), and creation of a second floor laundry room, in addition to smaller projects like flooring and painting. They did a fantastic job and the house looks beautiful. We are very happy with both the process and the final outcome. We would highlight three specific areas where they excelled:
1) Communication - Ericka is very detailed, organized, and responsive. The whole team communicates well and responds quickly, both to emails and to unexpected issues as they come up
2) Resolving issues - Any project will have bumps in the road where doesn't fit perfectly as planned, etc. It's unreasonable to expect any project to go perfectly, the question is how the contractor handles the bumps in the road. Todd and One Source were great - always acknowledging the issues, figuring out fixes, and taking responsibility when something had to be redone. The One Source team has honesty and integrity.
3) Complicated issues - There were a few times we had issues that we weren't sure could be solved, and the team was able to do it. Notably, we wanted to remove bevels in our floors, a professional flooring store said it couldn't be done, and One Source did it. The floors are beautiful.

In summary, we recommend them without hesitation. Quality work, quality people, and a quality experience.

We purchased a home from an estate sale that needed a complete renovation. During our search for a contracting team 1 name was mentioned over and over again by key players in the industry: One Source Contracting. From our first walk through it was apparent that Todd Lawrence, owner and lead project manager, was the one for the significant undertaking. His innovative ideas and expertise is restoring historic homes is unparalleled in the community. He understood our vision and was able to marry our modern, minimalistic style with the historic features of the home. He respected our budget and quickly provided creative solutions when potential issues were noted behind the gutted walls of a 100 year old home. Having no experience in this space, he gently nudged and advocated for us to reconsider ideas we were going to pass on- from a heated sunroom floor to reconstructing an original kitchen swing door to a pocket sliding door to save space in a high traffic area have proven to be 2 of our favorite highlights in the home. Over the course of 11 months, the One Source team became family. Their attention to detail is extraordinary and they perfected every corner of the home until we were 100% satisfied. From pop-up electrical outlets that added a decorative and functional design element to our countertops to completely moving our kitchen to a new space to squeeze in every item on my wishlist, Todd and his team created a home we are proud to welcome guests into. Every member of his team- admin, project management, and those who showed up daily for the hands on, dirty work had our best interest at heart. We look forward to working with One Source on future projects.

I highly recommend OSC. We called them after we had significant water damage to our historic home. The entire team is professional and communicative. They were able to navigate Baltimore City permitting and inspections with ease. The quality of the work is top notch and they left nothing to chance. We look forward to working with them again in the future for a planned remodel.

We worked with One Source to renovate our master bathroom. the job was a complete rebuild with new tile, fixtures, and plumbing to service a steam shower. Staff was friendly and accommodating and work was completed with little delay. I would absolutely consider working with Todd and team again on future projects.

I had a tricky renovation of an old Baltimore Row House that become more and more complicated as the old layers were peeled away. One Source did a truly amazing job of making the traditional and gorgeous aspects of the original house shine, while modernizing the rest in a seamless fashion for a spectacular result. They kept me updated along the entire journey as new challenges in the old structure, wiring etc. were uncovered and helped me understand how to make the best choices for my budget and the house. Everyone on their team is totally professional and a joy to work with. I highly recommend them and thrilled I chose them to do the renovation on the house.

Todd and team did a phenomenal job on a dream renovation. They incorporated my ideas and revitalized and restored my house. It's unrecognizable. I couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Todd and his team at One Source Contracting (OSC). We engaged OSC to restore a 200-year-old hewn log house, deconstruct its previous additions and replace them with a newly designed addition that was better integrated with the log house. The project was ambitious. It was structurally complicated and riddled with unknown challenges associated with integrating a new structure and contemporary systems into an unusual historic structure. We engaged Todd based on his personal enthusiasm for the project, his outstanding google reviews, and his reputation for historic restoration as evidenced by the gallery of photos on the OSC website. * The quality of OSC’s craftsmanship is superb – including both structural and finishing carpentry. For our project the team learned to restore chinking on the log house. The exterior window trim was hand cut from old growth timber. The interior trim was custom designed and cut to integrate with log house aesthetic. Every detail of our home was executed flawlessly.
* Todd consistently demonstrated his commitment to do the right thing – for us as clients and for our project. He fostered a candid and trusting relationship. We were comfortable discussing issues, knowing he would respectfully share rational, and would be accountable if his team was at fault. Most importantly and valued were the times Todd pushed back on a misguided decision we were about to make, arguing with conviction for a solution that was more aligned with our vision for the project and our home.
* Todd and his team were thoughtful and creative problem-solvers. The unconventional nature of this project meant there were always unusual problems to solve – sometimes structural, sometimes aesthetic. In addition to his own experience and that of his experienced Project Manager JT, Todd was also willing to engage other experts for counsel on issues that were unique to the project.
* The communication from Todd’s office staff, Ericka in particular, was stellar. Meeting summaries and finishing schedule decisions and rationale were meticulously documented. Email information that passed between OSC and us was timely, comprehensive and constructive. In addition, we were always forewarned about upcoming decisions with ample time to plan, deliberate, or respond.
* Todd has put together a great team. Every person on the management team was friendly, easy to talk to and seemed genuinely invested in our project. We enjoyed our interactions, even when discussing contentious issues. And the construction team took pride in their work and workspace; the site was always spotless. Now that our home is finished, we will miss having the One Source Contracting team in our lives.

A big home renovation is an inherently stressful undertaking -- particularly for those of us who do it for the first (and, god willing, last) time. Our family bought an old home in a historic Baltimore neighborhood with the understanding that we'd have to take on some big renovations. When we met Todd at One Source we knew this was the company for us. In fact (perhaps to our folly) we never even got competing bids. Now that everything is done, I can say with confidence that we did not regret our decision.

I can't say if One Source is necessarily the cheapest company, but I can certainly say that they work with great integrity. Most importantly to me: they have an incredible respect for the historic character of old homes. They want the job done right. And as someone once remarked to me, better to pay once up front than many times throughout the years to fix what wasn't done right or well.

All this said, I don't want to give the wrong impression: One Source was certainly willing to work on areas where costs can be cut when necessary. They walked us through various options with patience.

The entire team is of the utmost competence. They got all the necessary paperwork done. They kept us on track throughout the process, and we ended with almost no delay over the promised date. Their employees are superb, and they work with top-notch artisans and trades. In every respect the result exceeded our expectations.

Also they are all very nice. And very understanding with how challenging and stressful an experience it can all be for their clients. I only hope for their sake that most of their clients are easier to deal with than we were.

Most of all, now that the job is done, we cannot be happier with the outcome. It was precisely what we'd hoped. A beautiful old house that maintains its historical character while benefiting from more modern updates that will make it our family's home for the next generation. We are very grateful to Todd and all his crew and will think of them often.

They did a horrible job to my mothers basemant including the sink , I had to hire profesional People instead, dont waste your time with these men's. So many details They never finish the basemant completely, very inneficient,incompetent and ignorants. IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS I certainly would.

Had my deck redone, and the fixed rotted pieces, got done in just a week, and was very nice and made my deck so much better and did exactly what I wanted!

I had an excellent experience with Original Construction. Workers were very professional and did a great job doing the framing in our basement. Tony was very helpful, answered all my questions, and provided recommendations for my project. Definitively, Original Construction exceeded my expectations!

VERY happy with our deck!! This company was so communicative, worked long hours to meet a quick deadline, and the quality of work is excellent. They completed the project in 4 work days (would’ve been sooner of it hadn’t had rained) and picked up all debris when they finished. The first 3 photos are of the new deck and the last 2 photos are of the rotted, old deck. We will be hiring them again for future projects.

These young men did a great job quick and clean at a reasonable price taking my fences down so I can Park in my yard.
