Winstar did a wonderful job on my tub/shower upgrade and countertop/vanity replacement. They were responsive, friendly and very efficient. The job was scheduled to be completed in 3 days and they were right on target. The sales (Sam) set the right overall expectations and the project manager (Chris) did a great job of following up and providing the details. Everyone at Winstar was a pleasure to work with.

We had Winstar complete a remodel on our master bathroom. They did a great job setting all of the expectations for the job, the time frame, and were always quick to follow up on any questions we had. The installers and painters were very professional. We have some tight corners and the installers did a great job when removing the old tub and making sure there was no damage to the house. Would definitely recommend!

We used Winstar to redo 2 of our bathrooms. Their products are great, they have an excellent team of professionals, and they have come back promptly for small touch ups when requested without any fuss or charge for them. It was a great experience start to finish, our bathrooms turned out great, and it was a pleasure doing business with them. It’s rare in this world now that you find ethical companies with employees that really care about the job they do and have respect for customers homes. I highly recommend and trust Winstar for all the services they provide.

David House did work for me for a decade--always incredible work. He always was professional and performed the bathroom remodeling like a G--.

I was very impressed by the professional process that Budget Bath performed. They discussed with me my expectations and provided excellent assistance. Work was performed expertly and the workers were very accommodating. I can't express how pleased I was with the result. I would recommend this company to all.

We sorely needed a tub-to-shower conversion. The tub was at least 50 years old and had been resurfaced — badly — it was embarrassing.

We are retired, living off of our nest egg, which in today’s environment, means consuming our assets. We decided that a plain acrylic or fiberglass shower surround would be the best, budget-conscious choice. We also were ready to have something we could use when we are really old (we are old already) and cannot step into a tub.

We went directly to Angie’s List and picked the top 3 contractors for tub-to-shower conversions, read all of the comments on them and checked their BBB file. We also spent a good amount of time reading internet reports on the cost to expect for our job.

Budget Bath was one of the top contractors we identified on Angie’s List. But with a name like Budget Bath, we were a bit leery. Anyway, we received quotes from two bidders on the work we specified. Then David House, President of Budget Bath, paid us a visit.

David evaluated the space and told us that he really did not want to install an acrylic shower. He explained the long term quality issues with acrylic showers and said that, if we wanted it, he would install a ceramic tile shower to match the black and white ceramic tile in the rest of the bathroom. He drew a simple design for the shower, which included extending one wall a couple of inches and building a 12 inch outside wall to allow the shower to accommodate a black granite seat at one end. We liked the design and asked him to send us a quote on it, which he did the next day. We expected the quote to be higher than the two quotes on an acrylic shower, and it was, but not so much higher as to be uncompetitive with the acrylic quotes.

All things considered, we felt that we would be more satisfied with Budget Bath’s proposal, including the design and the price. We were not disappointed. The end product is beautiful and showcases the high quality workmanship of the Budget Bath crew of professionals.

The matching tile on the new shower makes the entire bathroom look new. In our bathroom the walls are ice white tile, with black tile around the bottom and black tile trim where the white tile stops about four feet up. They put black tile on the outside of the shower pan, completing the bottom row of tiles in black, and topped it with a black granite shower sill. Inside the new shower the tile goes up about 7 feet. Budget Bath selected the fixtures — grab bars, shower head and adjustable hand-held. All in all, it is classy. To show you how naturally these people do showers, they only had a concept design and moved ahead with all deliberate speed to implement and render the design with no plans.

There was only one glitch that disrupted the completion schedule. When they removed the old tub, they found that there was no sub floor. The tub had been installed on the joists (the house started out 80 years ago as a fishing cottage on the Little Magothy River). Without batting an eye, they built a sub floor to accommodate the shower and moved ahead. Once again, it was a quality job.

The work is now finished and we are completely satisfied. The cost was that which was quoted plus the extras we asked for and the surprise subfloor installation.

We recommend Budget Bath without reservation. They are proud of their work, which is of a high quality, their price for it is reasonable, and they are honest folks.

I've had one bathroom and one kitchen done so far by Dave and his great crew at Budget Bath, where they took ancient and near derelict rooms to sparkling and beautiful 21st century gems. The results are spectacular, and I can't wait for them to do the next three projects I have queued up for them.

At the time of this review. Dave came to my residence 2 months ago to scope out and provide an estimate on a full Bathroom installation.I have yet to receive an estimate and every attempt to call for an update ends with, “he’s busy”, “he’s on vacation”, “call back next week”. I guess I’ve learned my lesson now - don’t waste your time with Budget Bath.

I will give 5 stars for the work done on our bathroom. But the owner Dave House is a unreliable business man. He hardly came out on site, stated he would come out to go over problems and never showed up. Then came out to pick up his final check. We argued over some some modifications. He went nuts and started screaming at us. I just went through Quadruple bypass that's just wrong. We paid what he asked for in additional charges.

He still owes us extra floor tiles and a shower head. You don't come into somebody's house and start screaming at them that's wrong. Dave House does not conduct himself in a professional manor!

Only gave 1 star because I had to in order to post a review. I wouldn't know about their quality of work because Dave...the OWNER OF THE COMPANY, came to my house, promised an estimate by the following Friday, never sent it and never returned my calls. Now 2 months later, I get the estimate as if I was actually going to wait around for them to get back to me. The delay was not about getting me into the work schedule, but he couldn't even return my calls or send me the estimate!! God only knows how long it would take them to get me scheduled and do the work!

I want to express my sincere gratitude toward David House and his crew.
We had six different companies come to our house, but David was the only person who came up with a innovated design for our bathroom. He listen to all my needs and took extra care to preserve my 1928 bath tub and sconces that were original to the house. He blended the old with the new even incorporated a 1900 chandelier into the design.. My bathroom is so beautiful. His crew was always on time and very courteous and cleaned up after themselves daily. I will be contacting him for my next bathroom renovation in my basement. Thank you David

The overall experience with Budget Bath was excellent. Considering that the project involved the reconstruction of the only bathroom in the house, it went quite smoothly. Everything was demolished except the bathtub, and new flooring (heated -- love it!), plumbing, walls (with wainscoting), tile, and fixtures installed. The whole project took 4 weeks -- refinishing the bathtub took 3 of the days. Dave was great to work with, very accommodating and easy to reach. His crew is outstanding with regard to their skill and their commitment to the job. I was very comfortable having them in the house when I wasn't here. I recommend Budget Bath to anyone condsidering a bathroom renovation.

I knew Cox Kitchens was the right firm for me as soon as I met and discussed my renovations with Martin. He "got" my vision and made specific suggestions and recommendations that were all right on target. I very much appreciated having Martin with me on visits to different suppliers and benefitted from Cox great reputation when I made visits on my own. Once we got started on the job everything went smoothly. Martin took care of every scheduling detail and the work was done within one day of the estimate. I was especially grateful when Martin notified me that the tiler he had scheduled backed out of the job at the last minute but that he had a new tiler coming into the office that same afternoon to review the project. I was also very grateful for the attention Mike and Michelle gave to making sure the worksite was clean each evening as I was living on site while some of the work was being done. I would chose Cox Kitchens again in a heartbeat. Thanks!

We can't say enough good things about Cox Kitchens, and the kitchen/powder room renovation they did in our home. From the quality of the cabinetry they sell to the quality of the workmanship of the people who worked with them (tile installer, etc.), we were extremely pleased. We really liked dealing with a family-owned business. They created a design that maximized the storage space and functionality in our relatively small kitchen and were great problem-solvers when something unexpected happened (like discovering plumbing behind bulkheads that were removed). The final product is beautiful, and we love our new kitchen.

We loved everyone involved with redoing our house. Martin was always very positive and a sheer pleasure to do business with. He immediately resolved any issues that arose and always with a smile. The custom cabinets are of very good quality and very well made. We loved Tim and Ed and they always cleaned up each day before they left. We will only have this trustworthy family owned business for all future projects.

The entire family was most helpful in the redesign and construction of my new kitchen. I had very specific demands and everyone went to great lengths to ensure every detail was perfect. They were on schedule and thoughtful when in my home. Their contractors were professional and not intrusive. I love my new kitchen and am planning on using Cox Kitchens & Bath again for a couple more projects. I strongly recommend them.
