Theo renovated our basement, basement bathroom, upstairs bathroom, and kitchen. He built a fantastic backyard deck. Everything he has done has turned out to be beautiful. His work is solid and “old school” in the quality of construction. Theo’s creativity and expertise in design is amazing. He is always true to his word and totally honest. He is a pleasure to work with and fair in his pricing. He has our highest recommendation.

Theo created a laundry room and master bathroom for us in our new home, starting this past July. I can’t say enough good things about his professionalism, his knowledge, and experience. He went over and above what was needed and expected. He also was instrumental in finding, informing and often fixing other issues in our home. His work is quality and he works to his high level of standard, if he doesn’t like it, he makes it right. We look forward for the next project we can have him come back to help us with. Theo remodeled both of my bathrooms, removed mirrors and installed shiplap on my bedroom wall, updated all of my electric and plumbing, installed all of my new appliances in the kitchen, repainted my walls and assembled furniture. His work was impeccable.

I didn't have a positive experience with this company. I had a difficult time getting them to commit to dates. They were eager to start however did not return on the date agreed upon to complete the work. They attempted to change the contract payment terms without my input in an attempt to get as much money upfront as possible. They were very focused on money before doing the work. Once completed I was satisfied with the quality of work. They did a good job with putting windows in and framing the windows.

We had Alon and Daniel do a massive bathroom expansion for us. Not only did they renovate the whole thing but they expanded the structure across the roof of our garage. Their prices can't be beat, they're licensed and everything was permitted/inspected, and they were incredibly kind and flexible. Best part was, they stuck to their original price despite things coming up along the way. They're the kind of people you want to have on your team when a job needs doing. Daniel also constantly dropped in during construction to oversee things, explain things to me, and make sure I was satisfied and informed every step of the way. I recommend them to all of my family and friends, and really can't say enough good things about them - they're the best!

I have to update my review for the following reasons. I had two issues with their work, one a plumbing issue that required a licensed plumber and the other needed some vinyl flooring redone. Both times Daniel honored his warranty on the work and covered the cost of fixing it. I'll update my rating from the two stars that I had dropped it to up to 4. For the low cost of the original work, the quality is as expected and the warranty is fantastic.

Our home was built in 1988 and needed some serious repairs - the railings were loose and there was visible rust on joist hangers, nuts and bolts. We conducted internet searches to find a company that would meet our needs. We looked into a half a dozen businesses and chose DYS construction. Alon and Daniel were very easy to do business with - We were very happy with the repairs and after the project was finished we had them upgrade some of our electrical needs. :-)

DYS installed a shower in my half bath and extended my deck. The work was excellent, the people were professional and they were always on time. The next time I need any work done I will definitely use them again. I have referred them to others who were also extremely pleased with their work. Thank you so much.

DYS put a roof and doors on what was once a dilapidated old garage in my back yard. It looks fantastic and is a functional garage now! They were very personable and easy to work with. They offered excellent prices (including things like some tree trimming of the branches that were in the way of the garage for no added cost), and got the work done super fast! I highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough good things about these folks. the entire experience from start to finish was & is fantastic. Everyone who has seen & been on our deck (including our regular plumber & electrician) has commented on the quality of work, the materials used, and the overall 'feel' of the deck itself.

Let me start at the beginning -their quote was significantly lower than others, explanation of the process was clear & professional, and scheduling was very easy. Work began quickly, and the entire process was a breeze.

In under a week, we were enjoying the deck -and honestly, I can't believe we didn't do it sooner. Usually, I'm somewhat nervous about having folks do serious work like this, but definitely not this time. Everything was left clean, and there have been zero surprises.

DYS Construction replaced my old deck.
They have been very responsive, clean, professional and friendly throughout the entire project.
They installed a new pressure-treated wood structure, a staircase, composite Trex boarding deck and PVC railings.
It came out amazing!
We now can enjoy our new 18X18 new beautiful deck.
Will hire them again with no hesitation for future projects.

I hired this company to inspect the quality of the roof replacement made by another contractor. The DYS Construction behaved in a highly professional way. They arrived on time, climbed up on the roof and inspected every inch of it. Then they produced a detailed report with photos and recommendations.
What else can a house owner ask for?
But what matters the most, is that the Company's personnel is decent and honest. When I asked them what do they think about the price I paid for this roof work, they told me the construction company whose work they inspected, made a very good job at a very fair price. Then they honestly told me that the same work carried out by their own company would cost me several hundred dollars more.
I think, this is the best characteristic of DYS Construction Co.

DYS Construction did a wonderful job with my bathroom remodel. I met with Alon Kalka and Daniel Saslow for the initial walk through and they listened to my ideas and provided great feedback on how to meet my expectations and stay within budget. I was surprised at how quickly they were able to begin the project bringing in crews that were skilled and courteous. I felt they went above and beyond to assure that the project covered all my needs, both of what I knew and didn’t know, and were in continuous communication with me each step of the way. The project took a little over two weeks but was well worth it to get to the finished product. I am very pleased with their work and highly recommend them to anyone considering a contractor for their bathroom remodel.

DYS replaced our badly damaged roof in our row home within a few weeks of the estimate. They were excellent at communicating with us about the overall project, day-to-day access to the property, and next steps if there were any issues (there were none!). Importantly, they were impeccable in the construction, finish, and clean up. They stayed within budget and continued to follow up afterwards to ensure everything was as it should be. I see why they have an A+ rating on Better Business Bureau and we 100% recommend!
