My favorite place for plants, birdseed, and gardening supplies.

Good fertilizer, cool employees 5 star will be back often.
Edit: Switched to 2 star, owner or manager lied to me, said he'd order me a specific cal-mag nutrient for my plant. I wait 2 weeks come back in to pick it up, he tells his employee to inform me that he never ordered it and doesn't plan on it. I would've left it at 5 star if he came out and explained it to me or apologized and let me know he doesn't plan on ordering it, but instead, left the dirty work up to employees. Won't be back again. This is strictly for management, the young guy and 2 young lady's that work there are great.

First time stopping by here this evening for a Christmas tree. Beautiful selection and not outrageously priced. I have drive numerous times and thought nothing of the store. It is a pretty neat little shop and will be coming by more often to buy treats for the pups! Thanks for the warm cider my girls raved about it

They had a nice selection of plants with a number of uncommon species. The plants I bought are all doing well, and the prices were reasonable. Helpful and knowledgeable service too

If all the beautiful plants, good prices and amazing supply of pet needs.... don't make you happy enough, maybe you'll see 2 beautiful Golden Retrievers to brighten your day and a staff that goes out of their way to explain prices, process of making doggie treats, rewards program etc
Absolutely a wonderful place! Found my new favorite spot, and my fur baby can come too!

Staff pleasant. Wide variety of items. Some items very pricey while others somewhat reasonable. Not a lot for cats, however. They have a reasonable amount of items for yard birds, dogs, ponds, etc. (Not just food). I enjoyed looking around at what was being offered and pondering over the garden discount sale. Stayed focus on my pet items this time. Very hard to do. Staff not pushy. Nice Christmas trees there as well.

The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. More impressive is the variety of gardening and other products they offer. We went for rocks to add to flower beds and added cat food to our purchase. We are looking forward to our next trip to Poor Boys Garden Center!

Huge array of perennials! Also bought a beautiful dappled willow tree/shrub.

Great selection of soil at much better prices than online. Customer service is good too. Don't forget to join the rewards program for great free merchandise. Also, they have a full pet store and supplies for ponds. Delivery is available. I love their fruit trees too. 5 stars

I can't believe I never been here before, the wide selection and friendly service is enough to get me coming back ,but honestly their prices are unbelievable, bought water lilies for my new pond and the exact plant compared to " other" places was literally 1/2 the cost, this is going to become my / our " go to " garden center from now on! Definitely a place everyone needs to check out!

Love this locally run garden center! The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They even let you return shrubs or trees that die within a year of purchasing them.

Love the native plants available here of all different styles and sizes. I also like that i can find some great landscaping cover here too, like pine bark nuggets and attractive red stone gravel. Excellent service too!

I just wanted to ask a question and they cannot "monitor" their phones. I don't want to drive all the way there without knowing if they have what I need!

Nice place, many edible plants available such as cherry, cost $170 each

Come here often for really interesting plants and vegetables. One of the best places in the area to get plants that are outside the norm. Little expensive, but not terrible and also appropriate for the high quality and selection.

Super friendly staff and knowledgeable, they even helped me carry everything out to my car since I was alone. My birds love their new birdhouses!

TLDR: Has everything from hard to find plants to koi fish to boutique pet supplies.

We stumbled upon Poor Boys Garden Center while looking for plants for our vegetable garden. This locally owned nursery is filled with harder to find plants, veggies and flowers. They also have one of the coolest koi ponds we've ever seen with over two dozen of them swimming around! The outdoor area is expansive, and the prices are reasonable.

Inside, they have a solid section of unique dog and cat items you would never find in a big box pet store. Whether you're planting a new garden or just browsing for something cool for your outdoor space,, Poor Boys is absolutely worth the stop.
