I just had some maintenance work done on my pre-fab chimney and these guys were a pleasure to work with. There was originally a small misunderstanding that resulted in a scheduling snafu, but on the day that they arrived they were on time, finished the job quickly, offered friendly advice, and above all, incredibly friendly! I would be more than happy to refer them to my friends and family, and when I need work done in the future I'll be returning to them!

The technicians who came to my home were very detailed, well organized, neat, and clean. They communicated very well with me. Very friendly! I felt they went beyond the scope- I was very pleased with the services they performed. I highly recommend. Thank you!

BLATANT DECEPTION:

The initial fee is $225, regardless of the scope of the task. This information should have been communicated prior to their arrival. They spent less than 5 minutes on my roof and less than 20 minutes inside the house. If I had the intention of being defrauded of my diligently earned money, I would have personally journeyed to Baltimore City. I strongly advise against hiring them. I am perplexed as to why previous comments have received a five-star rating, considering that these individuals have a tendency to exploit the community.

Great company, prompt and showed up on time. Repaired chimney crown and also corrected another chimney guy's bad work by replacing duct work. Reasonable estimate and got the job done well. I had confidence that they wanted to do quality work. Communicated well. Would recommend highly.

I had a last minute real estate need and these guys stepped up big time! I called them at 9 in the morning and they were able to come out and inspect my clients chimney by 3 pm. Their workers were professional and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain what they had found to my client. Their report was user friendly and clearly explained what the issue was. Absolutely would recommend them.

I hired Clean Sweep to clean my chimneys after putting it off for a few years. Elias arrived within the quoted arrival time and quickly go to work after explaining the process to me. He worked very clean and efficiently and took several images to explain a few issue that he made me aware of. A quote was promptly sent the following day by Cullen who had assisted with logistical aspects during the process.

I highly recommend Clean Sweep for any chimney needs you may have. They even offer Saturday availability which worked well with my schedule and allowed the work to be scheduled quickly and without me having to miss work.

Two weeks in a row I have had an appointment and was stood up. The first week they called to tell me the tech would not be able to make it. The second week I called them after waiting nearly 1.5 hours and was told again that the tech wasn't going to make it. They seem to be prioritizing business volume over valuing their customer's time.

I selected Clean Sweep because they had great online reviews. I rarely use my fireplace, but I thought I'd get a cleaning just to be safe. Mike and Aidan arrived on time and right on schedule. They inspected the fireplace, and told me it was clean and unobstructed, and did not need a service.
I have been in real estate for over 40 years, and I was greatly impressed and gratified to find craftsmen so honest and ethical. Those great reviews are well-deserved! Thank you!

I’m not sure what’s up with these other reviews that seem negative? Cullen was awesome to work with! Cost was true to the estimate and he was super communicative about ensuring the job was done well. This company is professional, prompt and caring. They repaired my smoke chamber and firebox, and installed a damper at the chimney. They even painted the rest of the fireplace to match the firebox which truly took the work to the next level; even when we aren’t having a fire the fireplace now looks amazing. Would recommend.

Ryan is very professional and honest. We didn’t need the cleaning that we had scheduled and he let us know that and only charged us for the repairs we needed. Highly recommend!
