Landscaping reviews in Baltimore, Maryland

These people did a stellar job in workmanship. The "workers" were awesome and honest. They have the best guarantee and are delightful to work with. I would hire them again and again and again.. and oh yes.. again.

Landart made an initial visit and then decided they weren't interested in my project. Rather than call or email me, they simply ghosted me. My calls to the sales rep went unanswered. I was unable to speak with any of the company principals.
Totally unprofessional. -
The owner was friendly and great at helping with the design and materials. He provided a brochure and gave examples of what the design would look like. The installers work very hard and had excellent attention to details. I am very pleased with the results and would hire them again.

I hired Landart to install a patio and landscaping. It turned out amazing! Its unbelievable what they can do. I have never seen anyone conform an ordinary piece of land into a beautiful master piece like they do. I would definitely recommend them. It was worth every penny having them do the work. They stayed on schedule, great customer service and cleaned up afterwards, couldn't ask for more.
Thank you Landart!!!!! -
I was very happy with the job LandArt did. It was expensive, but it was a huge job involving construction of a retaining wall on a steep slope. The results look very nice and the crew was easy to work with and left my yard cleaner than they found it.

I contacted Landart with a special request to clear my sidewalks of snow at my Pasadena home after the storm on January 23, 2016. They responded without hesitation. Christian Boyd and the Management team at Landart are professionals that honor their commitments. They went out of their way to help my husband and I and we are truly grateful. I look forward to contracting with Landart to service my landscaping needs in the future. This is a company that can be trusted to do their best.

These guys were referred by my wife's friend and we were sure impressed with their work. Not only the detail to their work and professionalism, but also the cost of the product and their quick turnaround. Their project manager showed up almost everyday to make sure the crew was progressing fine. We highly recommend this company to anyone interested in top of the line landscaping at an affordable cost.

LandArt Associates recently installed a paver patio and small retaining wall in the backyard of my townhouse. The workmanship is excellent, the installation time was fast, and the price was right. The estimator and project manager were both very responsive and helpful in answering any question I had. My patio is only 325 square feet (a pretty small job) and they were happy to spend hours on the phone and in person answering my questions.
When my wife and I buy our single family home (some day) we'll be using LandArt again.
A special thanks to the team - I appreciate it! -
Competitive Pricing + Responsive Customer Service + Quality Products
and Workmanship -- We had to replace a large poorly installed rotting two-tiered wooden retaining wall. In 2016 we contacted LandArt Associates, in addition to 2 other companies, to obtain estimates for a block wall (SRW). Christian Boyd immediately responded to our request for an estimate and spent time providing details for various proposals and a pricing breakdown for each proposal. In contrast to other companies' representatives, Christian thoroughly explained the installation process and gave us several design options that helped us to determine an absolute budget. After going over all the data we had collected from the 3 companies, we concluded LandArt was by far the way to go. However, the county's stream restoration project started at that time and caused us to have to put our wall replacement project on hold in order to give the county a right-of-way through our property.
The stream restoration was finally completed this spring 2019 and given the passage of so much time we decided to start the wall replacement plan from scratch, contacting 4 companies, with LandArt being the only company from earlier, for proposals and estimates. Again, Christian Boyd was responsive to our particular landscaping challenges and answered many questions to help us understand options and pricing. In comparing the various companies and their proposals and estimates, which ranged greatly, we noted LandArt was consistent in their approach to customer service (respectful and responsive), pricing (competitive), and product availability (same or comparable to products used by other companies charging much more). We again choose LandArt over the other companies.
We were pleased find that LandArt's office staff are very respectful and equally pleasant to work with. Moreover, the work started on time, was completed without delay, and clean up was without problems. The expert work crew was meticulous and polite. And the new SRW wall looks amazing! I would definitely use LandArt Associates again. I would recommend them to family, friends, neighbors and colleagues. Kudos to a great staff and company! -
LandArt Associates installed a retaining wall in my backyard, and did a wonderful job. They kept me informed every step of the way and answered all my questions, no matter how silly they seemed. The crew that did the installation was awesome, they worked very hard to ensure that my wall was built in the estimated time. They were extremely professional and very thorough. I won't hesitate to use LandArt Associates in the future!

Kind knowledgeable staff that takes the time to answer any questions ar provide tips on making sure your plants thrive. Made plant buying easy for a first time gardener

I visit this nursery when I don’t feel like driving to Bowie or Bel Air to visit my favorite plant shops. I must say that I am just realizing that out of my 70 house plants one have survived from this nursery. I have I purchased soo many here. The only difference from them and others is that all house plants are kept in a high humidity greenhouse, completely unlike the average home. I bought a Beautiful cebu blue pothos and a week later it died. Literally one of the easiest plants to care for and it died. This happened to a few from here, however, I never experienced this issue with other nursery’s. 😔

Well this was my first time visiting a nursery, so I don't have anything to compare it with. I will say that it was a very nice experience. The place is beautiful and the employees were very helpful. I definitely want to go back, and soon.

Ok selection. I was looking mainly for houseplants. They had mainly outdoor plants. I grabbed some beautiful pansies. I'll check back later.
Very hard today checking out. I stood there forever waiting.... Then Cashier had problems with cash register. -
It’s unfortunate how many invasive plants are on sale here. They offer some native and “nativars,” but if they really want to be eco-friendly, they should stop selling Nandina, Barberry, English Ivy, Butterfly Bush, and Mock Orange. Much progress to make. I would love to support a local nursery business, but I can’t support the perpetuation of these species in our environment.

Extremely kind and knowledgeable staff. I went in with my sick house plant to try and see if it could be saved, they cleaned him up (which was pretty yucky, I felt so bad about the stink) and transplanted him into fresh soil in less than 15 minutes. I got pointers on how to keep my plant healthy too. I highly recommend this nursery!

Wonderful selection at Green Fields every season, staff is well-informed and provide phenomenal service. Their delivery service is also top-notch.

Came to this place a few times just browsing in the winter and early spring. Today I just purchased a Pink Icing Blueberry. The staff had excellent knowledge on there plants and trees. Far as prices, shopping and supporting local you shouldn't have thoughts about price, turely. Besides, the prices are reasonable! Oh yeah I be back for the ladybugs!!

Great selection, convenient location and knowledgeable staff. Yes, you can get plants cheaper elsewhere. BUT this is a local business with significant expertise so consider paying extra to support them.

This is a beautiful nursery with an excellent selection. Unfortunately, the staff is unhelpful and dismissive, and the prices are outrageous. They're also unwilling to work with you on price. Their niche makes a lot of sense: Roland Park is just up the hill, they can pretty much charge whatever that want. For my money, though? I'll go somewhere friendly, helpful and affordable.

What a wonderful selection of plants. Was slightly disappointed that they didn't have any more mixed pots, but they said they would help design three empty ones from last year! Very customer service oriented!
