I would 100% recommend this company. Based on their excellent reviews I contacted Handyman At Your Command and was helped by Tracy McCalla. I was in urgent need of some plumbing and electrical work. Tracy was amazing at arranging the last minute request and working with both my husband's and my schedule. The handymen arrived at the given time and were professional and courteous. Omar and Miguel went straight to work. Unfortunately, they ran into several problems which turned a smaller three hour job into a much more involved eight hour job! They intelligently and skillfully figured out how to solve the extensive issues and went above and beyond to get the job done. I was so incredibly grateful to both of them and to Tracy for not leaving me in a lurch!! Omar and Miguel were supposed to be heading to another job after mine. Tracy kindly rearranged their schedule so they could spend the day solving my extensive plumbing and electrical issue. In the end, the installation was accomplished and we have had no problems. Tracy was great about contacting me throughout the day to see how the work was progressing and she made sure to followup the next day to make sure we were satisfied. I am so happy to have found a reliable company with reasonable prices and competent and skilled handymen. I will certainly use them in the future for any needs that may arise.

I own a rental property in DC that had a deck that needed a little TLC. Handyman came out and totally refreshed the deck by power washing, reinforcing and replacing rotted wood. I feel they saved me as the deck now looks almost new. I will be using them again.

We have used Handyman At Your Command for several years - mostly plumbing-related needs - and they continue to impress us with their attention to detail, customer service, and responsiveness. Jose and Alexi did an excellent job today replacing a panel with 2 water shut-off valves and hoses along with checking another valve leak under a sink and recaulking around a toilet that was a bit unstable.

We are very happy with handyman at your command. They did some work on the exterior of our home about six months ago. Some of the paint started to peel, and when I brought it to their attention, they were very kind about it. They came out and fixed it. They also installed a railing on our front porch steps, and we are very happy because it is extremely sturdy! They did a great job securing it in concrete. Tracy, the lady who answers the phones, is wonderful! She is very responsive and always returned my calls quickly.

Horrible service. I asked them to re-attach some garage racks that had fallen (the drywall anchors had failed) and some minor drywall work. They gave me an estimate of 4 hours for the work. Two people arrived, after 3 hours of drywall work (way more than needed with one of their guys hiding somewhere not actually doing work) I asked when they were going to work on the priority work (the fallen rack) and they assured me they would be done working on time. At 4 hours they informed me that they would reach 4.5 hours that day and require another 2+ hours on another day because they did not bring materials to work on the garage racks. Just so I am clear IF they were able to complete in the new estimated 2 hours that would put their work at 6.5 hour - when they told me 3 hours in that there would be no extra time needed. They clearly just send people to get whatever hours they can get out of you. The work might have been a 6 hour job, but they offered the estimate - clearly just to get in the door. I will never use them again, and I will find someone else to actually do the work they were there for (with $950 already lost)

The handyman completed several tasks in one trip. I am pretty satisfied with the quality of the work. Even more satisfying is the company staff called me after the job to make sure that everything is done properly. I will definitely use this company again.

Terrible work. Never again. Cannot believe these can't handle a simple caulk job.

I hired them to caulk my bathtub and toilet. Straight forward and simple job. they charged $200 for 3 hours which is pretty high for handyman work, but I figure if it's high quality then I'm fine with that. IT WAS NOT.

Guy did the caulking. I did a quick look and was like "You forgot to caulk the faucet element" He did that after apologizing. I figured this guy is a pro and I do not have to inspect his work with a fine tooth comb. That was incorrect.

The next day I realized there was holes in the caulk and the caulk was very bumpy in places. The first is real bad and the whole reason you caulk in first place, to keep water out. Second bumpiness is not great either as water pools in there and mold develops.

I emailed and they said they would send someone else. I figured this person would fix it and do it right. they knew it was a screw up.

Well that was wrong too. The 2nd guy actually also did shoddy work and left holes in the caulk again. Unbelievable.

Never work with them again. Cannot believe it.

I've worked with many handymen over the years, and Jose and his team are by far the best. They bring a high level of expertise, quickly diagnose the issue, and resolve it efficiently. Truly dependable and skilled professionals

What a great company. My husband was away for buisness and i needed help with my dryer vent that had detached. They came Out and got me resolved instantly and at a very fair price.

I first used Handyman At Your Command in October. After calling several handyman companies on a weekend morning and no company answering the phone, Tracy called me back and set up an appointment. I have a small 1B1BR condo and had hired a horribly inept person (which we didn’t learn until much too late) to remodel my bathroom. Jose came out to clean up some of the aesthetic problems. He also pointed out a lot of other problems and shortcuts that the other company had taken and told me me how things should have been done. He was really knowledgeable and personable and, since I had a hunch that we would need to tear out the initial work, walked me through what it would look like if he were to redo our bathroom . When we learned that the shower was leaking out the other end of the wall and that the whole bathroom would have to be redone, I asked Tracy to send me a quote and it was very fair. Despite some delays in the project because of bad weather, the project was completed within our preferred time. The team covered our floors with cardboard and protected our furniture with plastic sheeting. When the team discovered problems along the way, we were quickly informed and the necessary repairs were made. When we ran into an issue with the shower wall tile I picked being irregular and warped, Jose found the same size and appearance tile at the Home Depot and returned the bad tile to the seller. Tracy called every night to give a project update and sent photos of the work done that day. They also did some additional handyman tasks around our condo- caulking, fixing drywall, fixing wobbly in-ceiling speakers. They left our condo very clean and the bathroom is beautiful. Tracy checked in with us a week after the work was done to ask if we’d found any problems, and sent someone out to check on and fix low water pressure in the shower. I cannot say enough good things about this company and their work. If you are considering this company for remodeling or for normal tasks, hire them. I can’t emphasize the value of people showing up on time, doing a job well, knowing how to adjust when things don’t go perfectly, and communicating often and clearly. Was looking for a reliable handyman for a long time. I fell upon this company and read all of the great reviews they were receiving.

They are licensed and bonded which was a plus. I called and set up some work with the company. Tracy was great setting everything up and she made sure she stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process.

I am giving two thumbs up to Hugo and Jose. They were great and took care of the multiple jobs o needed done.

They displayed top level skill in completing all of the repairs. Great experience overall and I highly recommend this company to handle those house repairs you need.

It's the first time I used their service and Tracy was very responsive and sent Omar within hours after I called. Omar was courteous and professional. We suspected birds might have come into the attic through vent duct as the vent opening on the back of the house was not covered by screen. Omar first examined the attic but found nothing in there. I had bought a vent screen from home depot which happens to fit. Omar put it on and caulked it. The job was well done.

Overall, I am really happy with their service. Thanks Omar and Tracy! I’ll definitely use them again when the need arises.

These guys are great, they did a wonderful job on my bathroom remodel. I have been using them for about 3 years now. Tracy the owner is lovely to deal with and the techs are very experienced. I love Handyman @ Your Command.

Excellent work, excellent price, with excellent customer service. Jose repaired and repainted a wall with water damage, as well as several other small jobs around the house. He was on time, very skillful, and efficient. I thought the jobs would take much longer but he completed them in three hours. Tracy was also a joy to deal with in the office regarding scheduling, billing, etc. These folks are now my handyman.

Tracy and Jose were very attentive and professional and helped fixed a problem with my kitchen sink garbage disposal in no time. Jose arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and solved the issue that others failed to recognize. I would highly recommend their service

I called them and they arrived the next day first thing in the morning. They sealed up a large hole behind my stove. The hole behind the stove needed to be sealed since mice were getting into my kitchen. They were prompt, efficient, and professional. Very pleased. 5 🌟 stars.

This team was amazing! I contacted Tracy on a Tuesday about repairing and painting an exterior extension of my house and the work was completed by Thursday! The whole team was very responsive and helpful. They were even able to haul away some junk I had in the yard. The work was beautiful and clean. I will absolutely be using them again.
