Gary P. Frank is the HVAC maintenance firm for our building. We are grateful that the company has assigned David Coleman to manage the building issues . David always brings a focused, calm approach to any situation. His analysis of the problem and recommendations on how to resolve it have proven time and again to be spot-on. I highly recommend Gary P. Frank; it's a quality firm.

I had such a great experience with James, the Gary Frank technician who came to fix my air conditioning. He explained very clearly the cause of my AC problems, replaced my very dirty filter, and gave me other AC-related advice so that I feel nice and cool now. Plus, though he was delayed (by no fault of his own) and arrived after hours, he wouldn’t accept the extra fee for after hours service. I will definitely ask for him again if I have any future HVAC issues, and so should you!

My ac went out last night and I called for service. It was 95 degrees outside. It was after hours and I received a call back from David Reyes within a half hour and he was at my house 20 mins after that. 45 mins later my ac was back on, basically an hour and a half from when I called. Amazing service. I have had a service contract with Gary p Frank since I moved into my house in 2003. Since then this is the type of service I have come to expect . I have had a generator installed since 2006, and also my hot water heater was installed and is serviced by Gary. Great company, great people. Highly recommend.

Our 36 year old AC unit finally gave up so we called Gary. He sent his best guy, David C, to check things over and take some measurements. A crew showed up this past Saturday ready to go (who works on Saturday!).
They ran the necessary wires and hoses, modified some ducting and completed the installation by 4:30 the same day. Gary even threw in a new, fancy thermostat we can operate by phone. My wife is thrilled and when she's happy I'm happy. The old equipment was hauled away and we hadn't even discussed that. Now, our house is cool and comfy and the new AC is quiet and I'm told more efficient. Gary's company is such that he oversees or consults on every job and that keeps things running smoothly. Highly recommended!

I have been a Gary P. Frank customer for years--they are the best! It is a family-owned business with top-notch technicians. Late last week Jeff Dickerson with the company correctly diagnosed the problem with our AC system. Today Jeff spent much of the day at our home (he had to spend several hours driving all over the region in order to locate the needed part when the recently delivered new part he had on his truck turned out to be faulty) doing the repair which was quite tricky. Jeff is a true professional--calm, competent, friendly and hard-working. He was determined to have our AC fixed today (in advance of some really hot weather due to hit our region tomorrow) and he did just that. Thanks Jeff!

Jeff Dickerson from Gary P. Frank, Inc. was a tremendous help to us as we settled into our new house. As new home owners, we were not overly familiar with how some of the HVAC and generator systems in our house worked. In addition to installing a new condensate pump, Jeff took the time to explain how our heating system was set up. Since Gary P. Frank also installed the generator system, Jeff was nice enough to do some routine maintenance on that and walked us through how to manually turn it on and run a test cycle. Jeff will be our first call next time we have a HVAC need!

Gary P Frank has been a refreshing change from previous HVAC contractors who were not fixing issues with my geothermal HVAC system. Jeff at Gary P Frank did a great job installing a new air purification system recommended by his colleague Jesse. The whole team is knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. I highly recommend them.

I got a ductless minisplit system installed in one of my bedrooms since it wasn't getting enough ventilation from my central AC and heat. Ricky did the initial estimate and was on courteous and professional, walking me through the whole process for the installation and what would need to be done.

Oscar and Freddy did the installation and were very friendly, quick, and neat. After the installation they walked me through what was installed, how to use the unit, and did some testing to make sure everything was operating as needed. Overall a great experience!

The team from Gary P Frank just finished installing our new Mitsubishi ductless AC. It’s awesome and whisper quite both inside and out. David Coleman, our project manager couldn’t have been more professional and was not only well versed on the options available to us but helped us get a general contractor to come in and prep the space. My heater stopped working about a week ago when outdoor temperatures plunged into the teens overnight. I called Gary P. Frank first thing in the morning, and they sent 2 technicians (Nick and Gerardo) to my home immediately. They arrived by 8.30am. Nick fully explained to me the issue with our heating unit, and proceeded complete the part replacement and repair within 30 minutes. I appreciate their responsiveness, work quality, efficiency and willingness to explain everything to me in detail. Gary P. Frank has my highest possible recommendation.

My air conditioner broke on July 4 at 4pm. I called Gary P Frank and the tech Nick was at my home in 45 minutes. He worked 3 hours and determined I needed a new part. He then returned to the office to get us a portable AC loaner until my unit could be fixed on July 6. Nick's service was prompt, knowledgeable, efficient and careful. I've used this company for many years and have always been pleased.

I wanted to add a mini split to a newly completed sunroom. I got several estimates and was very impressed with the price and product from Gary P Frank. Nick was extremely helpful and he and Freddy did a great job with the installation. They carefully sited both the interior and exterior units and consulted me at every step to find out what I wanted. The completed project looks terrific, is very efficient and effective, and operates almost soundlessly. A terrific job.

When our old AC compressor finally stopped working, we determined to find a solution that was more environmentally friendly, economically sound, and better for our health. We settled on a high-efficiency heat pump and high quality air filter. After much research and a range of estimates, we decided to engage Gary P. Frank, Inc., and we have rarely had such a positive experience from beginning to end. The estimate, done by Hugo, was meticulous and thorough. He carefully assessed our needs, and helped us make decisions to meet them, explaining in lay terms, the pros and cons. Installation was just as flawless. Ricky followed Hugo the next day and did meticulous field dimensioning and specific calculations for the installers to
follow. Working professionally and carefully, Oscar and Freddy installed the new work in half the time expected, with tremendous skill and attention to detail, working around our personal preferences and the quirks of our old house. We are very pleased with the result.

We just had an amazing, positive customer experience with this company. We called on a Saturday since our carrier air-conditioner had quite functioning and, pushing "2" for emergency, immediately got a response, a visit within two hours, and the determination of the problem, which didn't require a new motor after all, which had been missed by Sears two years ago. We were delighted to discover that honest, reliable service, on a weekend no less, is still provided by some organizations. They're the best.

I contacted the company this am. But late afternoon they had diagnosed the problem, found the part and returned and fixed our ac. Nick was helpful and informative. Work was done professionally and competently. Going forward this will be the heat pump company I use. Thanks for such good service.

We contracted with Gary P. Frank to do an assessment of an old HVAC system that had failed in an historic Georgetown row house (including separate basement unit). They were extremely responsive, recommending a new Mitsubishi system with ducted air handler and heat pump for the upper floors and a new Mitsubishi system with heat pump and two wall-mounted indoor units for the basement. Once approved by us, an install was scheduled within days, the equipment was ordered and ready, and a full complement of 8 technicians managed by Guy and Roger was assembled. In one day, the old equipment was disassembled and removed from the roof and indoors. In three more days, both new systems were installed throughout. The work was carried out seamlessly among the technicians. They and management worked exceptionally well together in sometimes cramped quarters. Safety was kept paramount in carrying out the work. Problems were dealt with in a calm and creative way that was very responsive to me as the client. Their performance was extremely professional and their attitude helpful and unfailingly positive. A wonderful experience... highly recommend!!!!!

We contacted Gary P. Frank for the service with an issue that has been bothering us for years since our HVAC unit was installed. Our unit in the attic kept making loud noise and the previous contractor told us that the insufficient insulation might be the reason but the problem has never been solved. Garcia came for the visit on time and gave us a careful inspection. He identified the issue and found that the previous contractor who installed the unit used the wrong size register and it kept making loud noise. Besides his professional diagnosis he also provided some useful suggestions for maintenance. We really had excellent experience and we highly recommend their service!

No one ever calls an HVAC contractor because they like opening their checkbook. I’ve had occasion to use a number of local HVAC contractors over the years but I’ve used Gary P Frank to install a new zone of air conditioning, and recently repair another zone that had been installed by another company years ago.

I’ve worked both times with their tech “Nick”. Nick has been the epitome of professional, explaining everything like I’m 5, taking his time to give me all the options, including ones that are the least cost.

Once onsite, they are polite, efficient and leave the site as clean as they found it.

Full disclosure, they aren’t the cheapest (nor the most expensive), but are responsive and professional. Highly recommend.

I had my entire HVAC system replaced last week. The old system was 25 year old Carrier and the new system is also Carrier. I have nothing but the highest praise for the crew who came and installed it over one and half day. They were punctual, gentle, kind without blaring music playing. In particular, Mr. Guy P., who started from the first estimates and oversaw his crew, was really competent, kind and patient. If you ever use this company, insist on getting him for your project.
