I’m sure they do great work, but they quoted me $65 an hour for EACH worker coming to my house. Idk what world they’re living in that a person that mows grass makes 65$ an hour, when the last guy charged me 44$ for the entire job. People with computer science degrees don’t even make 65 an hour... Way overpriced.

Eastern Grounds Landscaping is a great alternative to dealing with some large heartless landscaping conglomerate. Their pricing is fair and they can reasonably negotiate with you on the estimate. This place is my go to for outdoors jobs I don't feel like dealing with, including routine mowing.

I came across Eastern Landscaping in search of tree stumping grinding Services. Although this company did not provide such services, they did recommended a great company that I was able to use. They were very helpful in finding the services I did need, even if was not Eastern Landscaping. I would highly recommend them for their integrity.

My wife attempted to do business with another local company, but the owner of that companies son was abnoxious and rude... she opted to find another landscaping company near our home in Bowie! We found Eastern and the owner Mr. Shultz and Rhonda worked hard to get our spring clean up done and yearly mowing schedule! I arrived home and the work was done professionally and it look amazing! It's been over a week and I still didn't receive a call back for a quote. I called multiple times, received emails saying they would me back and nothing. Very unprofessional.

Update: This is NOT a false post or marketing company. The fact that you would suggest this is very odd. I can provide any details that you wish and the person I spoke with when I called MULTIPLE times and didn't receive a return call.

My wife and I hired Eastern Grounds Landscaping, LLC to bring curb appeal to our home and they delivered. The job was completed with 100% satisfaction. The pavers on our front entrance are perfect! The grading and erosion repair will protect our home for many years. Bill worked with our wishes to have slow growing plants that have color in all seasons and we couldn’t be happier with the final result. We stood outside for hours with huge smiles on our faces just admiring the landscaping. Over the years, I have used Eastern Grounds Landscaping on several different occasions and each time I have been totally satisfied with their professionalism, attention to detail, responsiveness, quality of work, knowledge, and customer service. Because of my positive experience with the company, I'll continue to place my trust in the company and it's staff.

This is the second season we have had Eastern Grounds Landscaping for our lawn care. We are receiving excellent service and prices are reasonable. They did an excellent job with our landscaping project. New landscape ties, water drainage system, plants and mulch have brightened our front yard.

Poor customer service, therefore, deserves no stars (I had to give one to enable my post). I scheduled an appointment with this company 12 days ahead of the date given. A female called me on the phone to schedule the appointment after I completed an inquiry online. The day of the appointment and thirty-five minutes into the appointment time, no one was at my home. I called the office and spoke with the same person who had initially scheduled the appointment. I was told that I had been "booted" out of my scheduled appointment. She then asked had I received an invoice via email which needed to be paid prior to the appointment. I informed her that I had not looked at my personal emails to know if I had or had not received this email. Please keep in mind that I had received multiple text messages prior to the date of the appointment to confirm the appointment and spoken to this individual on the phone. Not once was I informed of any fees. My reason for choosing this company was due to the online ratings and the close proximity to my home. Keep in mind that the company website stated "free" estimate. Granted, everyone deserves to be paid for their time but, a customer's time should also be respected. I had no problem with paying applicable fees when made aware of the need to do so. This company wants to be surreptitious about their fess or do they pick and choose who the fees will be charged too........... Buyer beware! False advertisement and poor customer service. Perhaps some retaining and an update to the website is needed.

We initially contacted this business for an estimate. After the owner came out to discuss various projects, we agreed on a scope of work for the estimate. However, it has been months and no estimate has been provided despite multiple calls to follow up with the company. Extremely disappointed in the poor communication and their dropping the ball.

Update: We didn't hear back after the initial consult so we called to see what the hold up was and you stated you needed to come back out and measure a few things again. Nothing after that. Then we had multiple conversations with a woman over the phone (same number as your flyer and the number you said to call here) who said she would pass the information on to you for follow-up. Then crickets.

We've used Eastern Grounds for about five years for a variety of landscaping and yard maintenance needs. We first called them to get an estimate for replacing some bushes that were damaged by BGE during one of their "tree trimming" sprees. We've had them back multiple times since each year for fall and spring clean up, re-sodding portions of the lawn, and removing an overgrown island. They've absolutely earned our repeat business. The crews have always been efficient, thorough, and very polite, and the pricing is reasonable. My wife and I have been very happy with their work and we have recommended them to several neighbors and friends.

Also - the owner, Bill, is fantastic! He goes out of his way to make sure that you are satisfied with the work.

Bill and his crew were great! They did fixed a drainage problem for me, as well as doing general yard maintenance. They were on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and provided great results at a fair price. I would definitely use them again.

From Bill the owner/operator to the folks at the phones or on the equipment, to a person they are professional and curteous. Bill's crews are very flexible in their scheduling when they can be and Bill will point out when it's high season for something and may need more time to execute. He is happy to recommend others in the trades where he doesn't have a footprint,but knows someone who can do the work that we need done. He's also happy to work at different price points when he knows I can't afford something or we can stretch out the work. Very good to excellent all around

He spent two hours at our home, going over every detail of our landscaping project, and within 24 hours had sent us a detailed estimate. Bill was knowledgeable about every aspect of our landscaping needs, and was able to give us on the spot answers to our questions. We especially appreciate the care he took to understand our vision for our backyard, and the various options he suggested to help us get there.

My wife and I hired Eastern Grounds Landscaping to save our tree's in our yard by removing ivy. They did a awesome job removing it without hurting the trees. The job looked great and clean. I definitely recommend. They also have very polite staff and very quick at getting me scheduled

A few years ago, Eastern Grounds, under Bill's supervision, serviced my lawn. I was very pleased with the results, and received many compliments from passersby. Naturally, when I needed to replace shrubbery and other plants that had been ruined by deer and other animals, I thought of Eastern Grounds. Bill showed me pictures of several different shrubbery from which I could choose. He estimated the time involved and provided a detailed step-by-step account of the work. Again, I am extremely pleased with his professionalism, knowledge, and service.

Eastern Grounds Landscaping provides excellent service! We've been using them for several years for nearly-year-round maintenance of Whitehall Pool and Tennis Club in Bowie. They get the entire property landscaping cleaned-up, pruned, edged, mulched, and decorated with flowers in the spring and keep it looking sharp throughout the summer. Additional fall lawn maintenance and leaf removal is also performed expertly. The crews are professional and do beautiful work. The owner works closely with the customer to ensure guaranteed satisfaction with the job. Communication with the owner and the office staff is always timely and responsive, either by phone or email. The owner, Bill, and the crews have also responded quickly when we needed emergency service like cutting down fallen trees after storms and needing extra mowing services before big swim meets.
