Excellent job providing spring clean up and mulch. Good price, and employees were professional and friendly. Will use again.

The service is good. I gave a 3 star because they cut my front grass with a weed wacker. I was very upset and was not happy. I only use them a few times and they used a mower and they were pretty good.

We have utilized Allen and Son Yard Service to cut our lawn for two years and are very pleased with their excellent service and have recommended them to our neighbors. We are notified of service dates and billed online. This spring we requested they do the mulching work in our yard. We received a price quote at a very reasonable rate and the work was done as soon as the weather allowed. The work was excellent and they took time to do it right. We would highly recommend their service.

We recently purchased a home in Bowie, MD. The previous owner had provided a season’s worth of lawn care, but we were frustrated with how quick and shoddy of a job the last company did each time they came out. Safe to say, we opted to look for a new company this season. After contacting several, we decided to go with Allen & Son for two reasons - 1.) their pricing was better than most and 2.) their owner provided prompt and consistent communication. They’ve already come once and have done a great job; looking forward to a great rest of the season!

The weeds were taking over my gardens in the front yard so I needed a clean up and wanted it done soon. I found Allen and Sons, a local landscape company and they did a great job! They came in the morning, started working and didn't leave until they were done. It looked really nice and was what I requested. Thank you for your help.

This is a very professionally operated family business with very reasonable pricing and not a start up business trying to fleece you just to cut your grass. The owner handled my concerns immediately and is easy to contact and communicate with. I hope that the great customer service will continue but as for now I highly recommend them.

I contacted a few places to get quotes for some yard work. I heard back from Allen & Son Lawn Service right away. Someone came out the next day and walked through the yard to listen to what we wanted done and gave some helpful suggestions. We were able to schedule the work to get done within the next couple of days. The men came and did a great job within less than a day. We are very happy with their work.

Needed someone on an emergency basis to clear leaves from in front of my house. I was not previously a client.
But the entire transaction was painless. Staff was very friendly, workers arrived timely, and the work was done expeditiously. I was really pleased. Cost was reasonable .

Was looking to have some limited landscaping done at my house. Got two estimates, and Allen & Son was 25% the cost of the other estimate! Both companies had excellent reviews. The work was was done quickly and professionally, and I am pleased with the result - and the $4500 I saved.

Only suggestion I have which led to a 4, instead of a 5, is that after I arranged for an estimate, someone showed up a few days later without notice to do the estimate. After I agreed to the work, again someone showed up without notice to do the work. It would be nice to get a call before someone arrives. That said, I would use Allen & Son again.

I put in a request on the company website to have some "clean up" work done to my front yard (small yard). This included removing weeds, old flowers and adding fresh mulch. Juan came out last week and scheduled an appointment. Work was completed thoroughly and timely on 10/26. Great work! Will contact again in the future with more requests.

(Never happened before with other companies) I will certainly keep using their services. Hoping it's just as thorough ( as mentioned above) and efficient.
I was so happy to recently receive a link that provided the ability to make requests. Which was FAR more productive, than all 7 of my requests by email. Glad they sent it!

After my Fall Clean-up :(
I shared my disappointment with the manager giving him time to respond ~ that was almost 3 weeks ago. Was hoping to hear back, nope!
Unfortunately the man who had done such a remarkable job last spring --- He isn't there anymore. It was very obvious.
The job was mowing (just like they did every 2 weeks this summer) over all the leaves and a bit of trimming, then blowing to clean-up, that was it. No mulching either. The price was outrageous, compared to the thorough job, they did last spring -- absolutely NO comparison!
Consistency and good communication is so important in business; thus the change to only 3 stars !

I am very pleased with the lawnmowing service provided by Allen & Son Yard Service. They are always on schedule, do an excellent job, and have an easy billing/payment process.
