Heavy rains in May 2018 exposed a leak in a window well which caused water to drain through a window into our basement. We also recently had a deck installed which we thought may have contributed to the issue. Our home is only 2.5yrs old. After multiple visits and attempts to address the issue by both our builder and deck contractor water still got into the basement. I began looking for independent contractors and luckily found Caleb. He meticulously diagnosed the issue and set about the repair process. We are very happy with the fine work he did and plan to work with him for upcoming projects we have for a condo we rent. Highly recommended!

Caleb repaired our backyard gate. He was professional, punctual, and worked with our budget. The latch and post for our gate were misaligned, making it impossible to close or lock. Other repair/handymen advised us to replace the gate entirely, but we thought the post/latch could be adjusted and the gate salvaged. Caleb understood what we were looking for, and gave us various prices and solutions that included keeping the existing gate. Caleb did a fantastic job and our gate closes and locks beautifully! I would recommend him to others, and will use his services in the future!

Caleb repaired trim on the outside of our house. We were very pleased with his work. His work was of high quality, timely and efficient. He cleaned up each day before leaving. I would not hesitate to use Caleb for future projects.

Solts Construction did an AMAZING job installing a new stand-up shower. The tile work is so beautiful! We could not be more happy with the quality of the work and the professional way we were treated, as we truly felt Caleb cared about what we envisioned for the project. We recently had our Master Bathroom and dressing area remodeled. The price was in the average range for a Bathroom Remodel. Caleb and his staff ( plumber/electrician) were professional, friendly and always on time. They were responsive to our questions and willing to work with us and our designer if modifications were made to the design and materials. The floor and wall tile work was done with accuracy and looks great! Our project was completed in 3 weeks as was the estimated time. They always cleaned up at the end of each work day.
The 4 month wait for our project to begin was worth it!
We are very happy with our new bathroom and would recommend Solt's Construction for any home project.

Caleb truly deserves five stars. He met with me to help me understand my options and got all the pops and squeaks out of my 60-year-old stairs and floors. He kept me updated throughout the project, always arrived on time, and made sure I was satisfied with the results. I will definitely hire him again. In a world, where many contractors never even respond to customer requests for service, Caleb stands out as a first-class professional who gets things done and done right.

Caleb installed new windows, and a new screen door for us. He is an absolute pleasure to work with. His work is great quality and the cost was very reasonable. The best is that Caleb did the work himself, so we knew the expertise presented during the estimate is what we were getting during the installation. I definitely appreciate that he was upfront with us during the estimation. He let us know before ever giving us the estimate that the windows we were looking for were backordered by a month or two, so there would be a delay. Another company that gave us an estimate never brought this up when giving us a price. If you want professional work for a good price from a good person, use Caleb. We definitely plan to use him for any future projects.

Update: We used Caleb's services again for some drywall and carpentry work on our Condo in Columbia, before we sold it. Excellent work as always.

I bought an old house and needed a through-wall dog door to the backyard. Solt was able to do the work in less than a day, came up with a great movable ramp design, and unilaterally reduced the price because it took them less time than they had estimated. It looks great and the dogs love it.

We hired Caleb to remodel two bathrooms in our house (1 full with tub, 1 half). Caleb was fantastic to work with in several ways.
1) Obviously, the most important aspect would be the quality of the work. We are just thrilled with the final product, especially the full bath. It turned out better than I could have imagined, and I'm in love with it.
2) Caleb was transparent and reasonable when it came to pricing and decision-making. We never felt like he was trying to "pull one over on us" and we always knew what to expect. The contract was detailed enough that we could see the cost of every item/task. He was flexible but not afraid to tell us if he felt something wouldn't work the way we envisioned.
3) When we hired Caleb, HE was the one to do the actual work. With the exception of a few tasks (demo, complex plumbing, glass wall installation), Caleb did all the work himself. There was no bait and switch like you get with other companies, where the work is subcontracted to another outfit. Especially with covid, we really appreciated knowing that, for the most part, he would be the only one in the house, not to mention that there was no middleman through whom we would discuss questions, changes, or issues.
4) Last but not least, Caleb is just a great guy. He was at our house all day every day for almost a full week, and we were there too, working remotely. We enjoyed his company, and would gladly hire him again.

Caleb did a fantastic job repairing our covered porch, including some key structural repairs. The quality of his work is excellent; he is very meticulous and made sure we received exactly what we wanted at a fair price. His communication is the best I’ve seen and he is just an all around great person to work with. We could not be happier with how everything turned out and we definitely plan to contact him again for future home projects.

We needed a shed built, and hired Solt's Construction for the job. We had only a general idea what we wanted, and some photos to work from as models. Caleb listened to what we wanted, and came up with a terrific plan.
The work he and his team did was excellent, and they built a beautiful shed. Caleb was great to work with though the whole process -- a great communicator, and highly professional.

I cannot say enough good things about Solt's Construction & Repair. Caleb is a true craftsman, highly skilled and detail-oriented. Of equal importance, he is trustworthy and fairly priced for the quality of work that he delivers. Caleb worked around our young sons' schedules and answered my questions thoroughly and patiently. He was quick to offer solutions to a couple unforeseen issues that arose during the remodel of our bathroom that included a new bathtub and wall surround. As someone who admittedly is a perfectionist and quick to stress over details, I am beyond pleased with our "new" bathroom and look forward to working with Caleb on future projects.

Great renovation of our bathrooms by Solt Construction. This included a complete rebuild of one bathroom including a tiled shower. Also upgraded our main bathroom with new vanity medicine cabinet. I would recommend Solt because they do excellent work, on time, and they cover all the bases. This is the company I want to work on my house.

I've hired Caleb for 3 different projects now. Ranging from an exterior door installation, dry wall work, and the latest and largest a deck repair. Caleb is always honest, upfront and communicative with his estimates and the work planned, mindful of your budget, and works hard to navigate unforseen challenges... all while doing excellent quality work!
