I had a clogged sink drain and decided to use Roto-Rooter based off their Google reviews. I got scheduled for a 2 hour afternoon window on a same-day appointment. Our appointment kept getting delayed until finally, after 8pm, we rescheduled for a 2 hour window the next morning. The plumber, whose name was Shondel, finally showed up an hour late. He determined that he'd have to snake the drain and stated that the cost would be $850 dollars. I thought the cost was outrageous and informed him of how I felt. He claimed that $850 was the going rate for clearing a clogged drain. He said he'd "work" with me and dropped the price to $500. I told him that was still too high and I'd have to call around for other options. I found another local plumber that offered to do the job the next day for $275...a much more appropriate price.

They were fast, courteous, and clean. They came, assessed, and quoted then was able to get right to work. Cleaning up after themselves as they went. The shoe booties were very appreciated.

Plumber was very efficient. Was on time, He thoroughly investigated the leaks, he provided good feedback regarding the shower tiles and he was kept the repair area neat and clean.

I have had a lot of experience with local plumbers and have often been disappointed. I really appreciated this team's professionalism, anikity to communicate and transparency. I felt like I was working with people I could trust and that has become a rare thing as a single, female, homeowner working with plumbers and electricians. So many try to get away with terrible workmanship. I felt like I was in good hands with this team. Their prices are higher than many local shops. But they also do a much better job and help you rectify a problem immediately instead of applying a band-aid once a month for a year.

Mr.Kam, the technician, arrived promptly, was professional, and very polite. Mr Kam unclogged the drain quickly, and then he swept the water from the basement floor. Wow! I didn't expect that, but I truly appreciated the excellent service. Roto-Rooter will be my first call for any future needs.

The Technician that Roto Rooter sent IS EXCELLENT. Feel bad for him though. He got filthy and still working on snaking my sump pump. He knows what he is doing. He explained everything PERFECTLY & he shows RESPECT coming in your house.
