Appliance Repair reviews in Forestville, Maryland

I got charged for a service at $94 but he fixed nothing and told me that he would charge me $300 to melt the ice out of the ice bin. And he asked me for a steamer to melt the ice. I am very disappointed. And when it called customer service for support and waited online for 40 minutes, the representative put me on hold and never talked to me to discuss the issue. I was then placed in the cue for feedback on a situation that I never got help with.

I paid $137 for a service call…refrigerator freezer not freezing…the repair quote wasn’t clear just over 1K to replace board parts and or hundreds to add freon with no guarantee.

I was not satisfied. I did not receive a call when the technician was en route, only once he arrived. Also, I asked for a technician that has a large enough ladder to get on the roof and this tech arrived without the appropriate ladder.

Severino was excellent. Very respectful of my home wore shoe protectors. Gave clear and consice information. Very knowledgeable.

This work was not done properly and the refrigerator is freezing food. Photos show Gasket improperly glued and is leaking. Please schedule a supervisor or expert to come to see it. We return from vacation next Wednesday, 21st and can see someone Thursday or Friday.

My AC stopped working correctly & I filed a claim. The deductible was reasonable & I just needed to wait for my appointment. My technician, Aaron came & he was very pleasant! He was able to diagnose the issue & replace a malfunctioning part on the outside unit quick, fast & in a hurry. In no time, my AC was back to pumping cool air! I had no extra cost to pay, which was the cherry on top. Thank you, Sears!!

There was no experience. The Sears contractor did not arrive at the specific time scheduled by Amercian Home Shield & Sears as a result of the unprofessional & repeated NO CALL/ NO SHOWS!

Absolutely horrible. The repairman was rude and non-compliance. It was raining and he refused to cover his wet shoes. He mannerisms was harsh. He said I had to get rid of old parts from the refrigerator. I told him I was 81 and I asked him to sit the thrash outside for me because it was too heavy for me to lift. He told me that was not his job. I should get someone to help me. He needs training on rendering good customer service.

The technician was very friendly, and he explained what he was doing. I'm glad we were able to get our refrigerator fixed.

The report was a total professional. As he entered the house he put on shoe covers . He did tell me to set the thermostat at 65° which I did and he went back outside. Within 10 minutes he was back at the front door with a broken unit that he had replaced and informed me that my air conditioning was not working. And I am happy to say the temperature in my house is slowly going down now to 74° And dropping.

Nasser did a great job! He was skilled and knowledgeable in the repair that needed to be done

My machine worked while he was here. In less than 2 hours it stopped working again with error codes E2 and F6. Called for assistance again sent to tele support scheduled for this morning and the person never called me. I am truly frustrated and disappointed in Sears customer support!

Repair is overpriced. Service tech was to return to install part but never contacted me that they were not coming. I wasted 5 hours of my day. I rescheduled for a tech to return and this time, a different tech showed up to install the part in a 2 year old dryer. Don't buy whirlpool

The technician was very very helpful and made me feel like a valued customer. I feel much much better now that I have the protection Plan on his suggestion.

The Tech was very very respectful really wanted to help me with the dryer but needed a manager approval for that day, so he had to come Back the next day and complete the job. He had no attitude about come out three times.

the service repair person arrived on time but did not provide a service. I tried explaining the noise we was experiencing with the fridge, but the repair person wanted me to make the noise verbally but I wasn't able to. He stayed for a while to see if the fridge would make the noise but it did not. Even though the fridge did not make the noise, I believe he could have examined the fridge but he did not. He stood there on his phone while waiting for the fridge to make the noise. I felt he didn't make an attempt to diagnose the fridge. He sent me the link to make the payment and asked that I record the noise and call in another service call.

The only reason Sears get 1 star is that there is no option for 0 stars. I’ve been trying to get my stovetop and Ice maker fixed. Dealing with Sears has been the worst experience ever. I had 2 service dates where I had an 8 hour window and no technician showed up with no call. On 3 other occasions technicians showed up with no resolution. I was told that parts were t available for either appliance. This week parts showed up for my Fridge. They scheduled another service with an 8 hour window. Tech just came to repair. Long story short - Wrong parts were ordered and unnecessary parts ordered. Word for the wise: find another warranty company.

Mr. Severino was polite, knowledgeable and professional. Recommended what I needed to have done; therefore I followed his lead, and pronto. Work was performed to my satisfaction.

This was the worst service ever. First, there was a language barrier, I didn’t understand nothing he was saying. The refrigerator has not worked in three weeks. He came in checking the door closure basically of the freezer and refrigerator. Said everything was working fine and there were no parts to order and left. Meanwhile, they gave me an appointment time from 8 to 5 when normal people have to work I had to sit at work and wonder when they would texts and say when they were on their way and try to make it there before the tech arrived.

He seems quite unknowledgeable. He came in saying if there is no model no. he can't fix it. He says, yes you smell gas it is in. What? He turned it up to past 500°, leaves out the door, comes back and says Make sure you turn it off. What? He didn't try to find a model no. When I asked about getting a new one and where, he said Home Depot, Lowe's. Anybody knows they don't sell gas double wall ovens. I told him they don't. He said, they're out there. So to summarize, he was hard to understand because if thick accent. He was not knowledgeable about the product. He was not a critical thinker who could offer an alternative. Now my whole house smells like gas. He was ineffectual.

I recommend better scheduling options. 8-12, 12-4 4-8 something. Waiting 9 hours and missing work is insane. I could have ran so many small errands (not to far from home) to make a wasted day off useful.
First apointment they showed after 4pm. Leaned on my kitchen counter, didn't wash/sanitize their hands before moving my food products, due to them needing to get the SN in the cooler. I had already removed the food based on what needed fixing on the freezer. Took 45 to clearly see the piece that was broken. Shelf piece. Then needed to use my bathroom.
Second appointment, arrived 4:45pm, I already removed the items from the freezer. He leaned on my condiments on the door in the cooler. Unsanitary. Install was quick and he was gone.
As a customer i just ask that you remind your technicians coming to fix a fridge vs a washer/dryer is a bit different when it comes to hygiene awareness.
I didn't pay anything as I had a warranty..
