S&L Prime A/C and Heating has been wonderful to deal with!! They are very communicative and easy to deal with. Tommy and Mike were very professional and polite!. They explained everything in detail and showed that they really cared about doing a good job! I will definitely be recommending S&L Prime A/C and Heating to all my friends and family!

From the moment I contacted them, their professionalism and responsiveness stood out. I called for an emergency service, and they were able to send a technician out that same morning. They were transparent about their pricing, and they were able to diagnosis the problem within 30 mins and had the part on hand. Great service all around. I will definitely be contacting S&L for any future Heating and Air issues and maintenance.

First met owner Mike for an evaluation and getting proposals for replacement of my old gas furnace and air conditioner. He was very professional. Explained the different options and pros and cons. Knows his stuff.
Went with the Mitsubithsi heat pump for my whole house ducted system. Appreciated that Mike specified the higher end unit for greater efficiency and reliability--but still within my budget.

The Crew came a couple of weeks later--arrived on time, explained what they were doing, answered questions well, were very efficient, hard working and courteous. The installation took 2 days--a different crew came 2nd day--they were also great. Said they had a contest between the 2 crews to see which one gets better reviews--I give them both big 5s.
The office was patient and helpful getting all the complicated information together--warranties, BGE rebates, Federal tax credit, payment options, etc. Also gave a discount for cash payment which I appreciated.
The installation is neat, quiet, and works great.

S&L Prime did a great job installing our new Mitsubishi unit. Would highly recommend them. They were quick and efficient.

I chose S&L Prime due to the great reviews here and I am glad we did. We had an A/C compressor issue a that a previous servicer (think color Blue.)quoted us $2,400 to repair! That company left us in sweltering heat for a day but Dave from S&L had our unit running in minutes for the price of a service call. We will definitely be using them in the future!
Update: We did use their service again and are very satisfied. Mike skillfully replaced the compressor motor.

When I called FH Furr with an emergency they were able to come out same day. Sean was knowledgeable, fixed the problem, and took time to explain what was going on.

S&L were able to come out quickly to diagnose my HVAC problem. From the initial diagnosis to the installation of a new system was only 1 week. The system was priced competitively, and they answered all my questions about the different features and options. We appreciated how courteous and knowledgeable all employees who we talked to were. We plan on using them for all services in the future.

Efficient and thorough. Micheal examined our system and gave us somethings to think about to keep our system working efficiently. He pared that with a professional and pleasant attitude.

Finally, a reliable and honest HVAC company! I found this company from a reddit post by another customer who was having similar difficulties as I when trying to obtain quotes for a mini-split unit.
After 5 quotes from 5 different companies, S&L Prime was one of
2 to disclose a BGE automatic rebate and the exact make &
models of the equipment to be installed at my mom's. 3
companies never mentioned there were any rebates. 2 wouldn't
provide the model numbers. 1 provided a discontinued unit as
the only option unless I signed the contract. S&L Prime provided
2 options and explained the pros & cons of each. The staff were
in constant contact about the status of the equipment delivery
and installation schedules. They showed up each time that they
said they would. They completed the job with professionalism,
and my elderly mom is very happy.

The final product turned out well. I got 5 mini splits installed. Steve really knows his product and was the only company that explained the rebate process and tax credits. Other companies made the rebates look like a sale price. I like the transparent and straight forward sales approach. However there was a small lack of communication about where the splits were going and shortage of people on the job. A final walkthrough would have made more sense. Also Mike M. was scheduled alone. He was my main installer and on the job almost all of the days. He worked diligently and even missed lunch to get the job done as quickly as possible. At no fault of his I had to even help him for a bit. For safety and efficiency I really think installing mini splits especially multiple ones in a single family home should involve more than one person on the job. Outside of that, all the staff was hard working, polite and the pricing was fair. They even quickly returned to tweak the slight imperfection after install. I would definitely recommend them. It's a hardworking, very polite and knowledgeable team. Family owned and operated. If I could do 4.5 stars I would.

S&L prime was amazing to work with. I had an entire house ductless air conditioning system installed and they were super professional. They even took great care of my wingman (dog) while I was at work during the install.

Perfect experience, start to finish, with the installation of a mini-split. I have a large high-ceiling room with no HVAC that I mostly avoided because it was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter, and too expensive to regulate the temperature in there with a window unit and space heaters. I got proposals from two local companies, and while I’m confident that the other would have done a fine job, I went with S&L after comparing the systems. I became convinced that the Mitsubishi equipment was top-of-the-line and would pay for itself compared to the slightly cheaper model proposed by the competitor. And it really is great. The stuffy/cold room is now my favorite spot in my house.

Steve was friendly and knowledgeable, Melissa was helpful, and Tommy & Brad(?) were great installers, giving me choices on placement and drainage.

Tom and his crew did a great job replacing our 15 year old Trane AC system in our attic. They were very professional and efficient with their work and all for a fair price. We would definitely recommend S&L!

I've been using S&L Prime for years and have never had a bad experience. They just installed a new outdoor AC unit, furnace and coil. My AC died during a recent heat wave and they were at my house first thing after I called, immediately diagnosed the issue, provided recommended solutions, and scheduled my service.

The responsiveness at every stage was excellent. The pricing was competitive and fair, and the explanation of the job and my options was clear. Mike and Miguel arrived exactly on time, were extremely professional, and their work was immaculate.

We are very happy with the excellent service and installation of a new 3-zone Mitsubishi mini-split system by S&L Prime A/C and Heating. Steve was very receptive to our unique requests for the installation into our historic home and took time to explain different options and answer any questions we had during the initial consultation. The installers Phil and Michael were great to work with and went above and beyond to ensure the installation was done in the way we wanted. This included significant problem solving to overcome unique challenges with routing all of the line sets internally so that there are no lines on the exterior walls of the home. The entire team was professional, responsive, and did everything possible to ensure we were happy with the results. We highly recommend S&L for their professional and quality service!

Phil arrived on time and did a thorough inspection and cleaning of my Mitsubishi Mini Split. I asked him several questions regarding the remote and he did an excellent job of explaining how certain features worked. He was very patient with me as I was writing down the steps involved in getting the right settings. His knowledge of my unit was very impressive. Highly recommend!

We had a very positive experience with S&L Prime. I was 9 months pregnant and our AC system broke down in the middle of summer. S&L’s Mike and team prioritized us given the circumstances and moved extremely quickly to get us a new efficient heat pump system installed, including getting a crane scheduled that same week. The team was transparent and communicative, helped us obtain BGE credits for the heat pump, and were all around pleasant to work with. We were very happy with the service and would definitely recommend them.

Got home from work this morning. Temperature outside was 12 inside was 53 furnace was unable to turn on new breaker was tripped called and requested an emergency service showed up within two hours. Fix the problem not that expensive highly recommend.
