I reached out to this company because of recommendations from other neighbors in my community. Was able to set up a date and time to have them come out to give a estimate for some patio work we wanted to get done. They day of the estimate they never showed up or called to state they could not make it. I texted them and also tried to call, but nothing. It’s a shame, because from the other reviewers and by word of mouth they do exceptional work.

Road construction requires the creation of an engineered continuous right-of-way or roadbed, overcoming geographic obstacles and having grades low enough to permit vehicle or foot travel. And J Gonzalez Construction have a very clean hand on it. Their work is very remarkable.

We just had a small patio about 10 x 20' at the side yard and a smaller one in front of shed made by J Gonzalez Construction to raise the level of ground in those areas.
They are so beautiful that it's hard to take off my eyes. I keep looking at them. This is ever the first time to make me feel money is good. We had done kitchen renovation, bathroom, windows, and roof at the previous house but never felt in this way.
When we bought an end-unit townhouse, our house inspector told us and stated in written that our yard had a negative grade or degree. We didn't know what it meant so we didn't even ask or care much about it because we mainly concerned the inside of house. But after closing, when we went back on the rainy day, we understood what it meant, water was running toward backside of house and shed. So we decided to put the patios to raise the level.
Hiring J Gonzalez Construction was one of best decisions we made. They'were really professional so they knew what we needed and they cleaned up neatly after done. And the project price was fair enough.

We hired J Gonzales to build steps and a patio to a very sloped yard. The steps and patio look fabulous! We are so glad we added the lights as they make a huge difference. He and his associates are very professional. They started my deck at 8:30 am. They were completely done by 6:30 pm the same day. It is well made and sturdy. I would recommend him to anyone. I contacted Mr. Gonzalez to build a custom 29’ x 23’ patio with pavers, seating wall, pillars, fire pit, steps, and stepping stones. We received several quotes and designs for our outback patio and Jose was the best. He worked with us to design exactly what we wanted and ensured that it was done properly with a small retaining wall (which no one else offered to do) to keep our patio lasting for years to come. From the design to the execution, everything was done with the highest quality in mind. Jose and his team were very professional, super friendly and every part of the patio was done by hand perfectly! We absolutely love it!

We first hired Gonzalez construction for a paver patio and were throughly pleased with the quality of work and professionalism from Jose and the crew. Jose is genuinely interested in his clients being very happy with the results and will make suggestions that may improve the design, flow or overall look. Just over a year later and still loving our patio, we hired Gonzalez again for a retaining wall and once again am very pleased with the process and final product. The schedule was quick, and the crew worked through light rain to get most done on day 1. Finished by lunch on day 2 and left the site very clean. We'll be hiring Gonzalez for a third time next year to redo a retaining wall alongside our driveway. Highly recommended!
