Shawn and Luke did a fantastic job. They were on time and the price was as quoted. Both guys are very qualified and know their electrical .I would use them again.

We recently upgraded our heating and air conditioning unit and it was brought to our attention that our ELECTRICAL BOX/BREAKER PANEL needed to upgraded as we had some electrical outlets and lights that were not working. WE NEEDED AN ELECTRICIAN and WE NEEDED ONE FAST!
After calling in excess of half a dozen electricians in Harford County, we stumbled across SHAWN'S ELECTRIC and THANK GOD WE DID! They came out the same day that we called and ordered everything needed. Within a few days, they arrived and WORKED NON-STOP, COMPLETING ALL WORK THE SAME DAY.

Very disappointed.... To avoid the long details I will just get straight to the point. Shawn’s electric charged me $244 to change this light switch pictured on the left to the light switch pictured on the right. The tech didn’t have to drill or cut any holes, didn’t have to run any wires nor did he have to replace any of the existing wires.... He just killed the power to the switch via the panel, removed the cover plate, disconnected the wire from the old toggle switch, connected those same wires to the new switch and then restored power back to the switch..... this task took less than 10 mins... $244!! When I asked the owner and the tech why they charged me for a new install, he said that they charge by the task... The crazy thing is that in an earlier quote the task of replacing a 3-way switch was only $t55... I seeked further clarification by having them explain replacing a 3 way switch... and it was exactly the same as the tasked performed by the tech but they continued to call it a new install. I would easily agree if he had to place a switch where none existed.. or even if he had to install a switch where an old switch was but the wires weren’t working and he had to run a new line... but that’s not the case! The existing wires and switch worked fine, he simply changed them out for me and charged me $254!! By the way, that switch cost approx $60.. As a Retired Veteran I went from meeting a young man name Michael Manfredi who went out of his way to help a Vet get this house, to finding Shawn’s Electric who is ripping people off by charging $244 to replace a light switch.
I still have a few more electrical projects that I would like to get done but I assure you that I will never use Shawn’s Electric again nor recommend them to anyone I know!!!!



Luke was able to come out quickly on a Sunday to take a look at a breaker issue. Provided info on what he was seeing along the way, took care of correcting incorrectly labeled breakers inside the panel and sent follow up estimates for other services soon after the appt. Will definitely use again and highly recommend.

Shawn and Luke did an outstanding job of relocating our crystal chandelier and matching wall sconces in our home...they were very professional and polite and got the job done quickly for us. Yes, but actually you DID’NT do work for me. You came to my house to repair a pool filter control unit took 35 minutes (slick, you charged $80 per HALF hour in labor and charged me $160) and said you checked everything including the fuse (which you said was fine). Next day I check and the fuse was bad! Called you up, you had an attitude and you said to make it right you would send me a check for $80. 2 years later, I’m still waiting for the check!!!

Highly recommend these guys! Luke and Shawn are not only very courteous and professional, but they are experts in this field and have an answer for any question you may have. We used these guys for a complete kitchen demo and kitchen remodel/relocation with an electric panel upgrade (with a building permit). It was a big undertaking, but they had the rough-in completed in just a day and a half! Including 13 new recessed lights. They had the inspector out the next day and it passed with flying colors. After they completed the final, it looked like a brand new house. Everything was new and extremely neat! No problems. We will definitely refer our friends and family to these guys!

Luke is a true professional… He was very responsive to all my text messages..He fixed all my fans and changed all the light bulbs and my door bell which was not working from the past few years..He also fixed my garage door even though he is not a garage guy..His Pricing was so fair..Thanks Luke!! Shawn of Shawn's Electric was a true professional. He was courteous and responsive to telephone calls and text messages. Shawn identified problem issue with my exterior outlet and interior switch. Luke, Steve and Shawn trenched in a 230V connection from my house to the barn. They did a great job in a very messy condition due to rain and freezing. While waiting for the inspection, they also went above and beyond in running temporary power to our heated water buckets for our animals. Great job. I strongly recommend Shawn's Electric.

Shawn and Luke both came out to my mothers residence to repair breakers that were fried after a lightening storm. they even installed a surge protector directly into the breaker box for added protection. they were friendly, professional, quick and efficient, along with great pricing. couldnt have asked for better service.
