Very horrible. These people are scammer. They came to my house to fix my heater and never fixed it right. They have come to my house 6th times to fix the same issues but no solution and they keep charging me money for the same problem they refuse to fix.

Took care of our AC going down after hours, kick myself as the repair ended up being pretty simple, and a tad pricy, but they got it fixed on a hot evening, so don't mind paying the piper.

Friendly and responsive. Excellent service.

Have dealt with for nearly 30 years, after many disappointments with other companies. Have had annual maintenance agreement for years; could not be easier to deal with, more friendly, honest, or cooperative. Highly recommended.

Top notch in every way! Throughout, I thought H&C's personnel were very knowledgeable, very competent, and most importantly demonstrated a high degree of integrity. I am very impressed, and I don't say that lightly.

Called to ask a simple question and they were far beyond helpful! Ended up being a simple mistake I made on my thermostat, but they were nice enough to answer my question! If you’re in Maryland, I recommend this family owned business!

Thank you for the gift cookies. I'm enjoying them. They're delicious! Michael filled out and sent you an electronic survey about the heat pump and furnace installation a few days ago. I liked that it only took one morning to install everything.

Awful company to work with. Horribly obnoxious and rude receptionists. Lousy service (multiple visits for the same problem) and bad pricing. I recommend almost anyone else for HVAC service in Howard County, but I single out Minnicks. Minnicks came out and fixed everything right the first time. Their call center people are extremely polite and helpful. Their technicians are skilled and courtesy. Absolutely DEPENDABLE unlike H&C.

H&C Heating and Cooling charged $800 for the same OEM part I found online for $283. Beware that their markup on parts is excessive.
11/22/22: Update responding to the owner of H&C Heating and Cooling: I approved a quote that I thought was made in good faith but was fraudulent. In hindsight, I should have done my due diligence before approving the work. That is on me. But afterwards, I did check with an authorized Trane dealer and was given a ROM quote of $750 which included OEM parts and labor for replacing the blower motor. It is sad to see a business that is trying to take advantage of customers, rather than providing value; thereby ensuring repeat business and good referrals. Also interesting is that despite multiple attempts, I did not get any response from the owner about my concerns until after I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Needless to say, I will not be ordering any pizzas or getting future work from H&C Heating and Cooling. -
Brought my system because my electric bill was 2 to 3 times as much as my neighbors were paying. The first time I used my AC I needed the temperature to go down by 2 degrees. I was in for a shock that it took less than a minute for the temperature to drop by 2 degrees. I also got a new furnace install with my system. I used the iComfort remote app from work to heat my house from 67 degrees to 70 in about 3 minutes. Wanted my family to come home to a warm house. I love my system. The system cool or warm the house quickly and then stops. This will save me a whole lot of cash compare to my old system which ran all day and my house never got cool.

This company hires careless/reckless techs. I have been nearly hit/tailgated and witnessed this company's van driving very dangerously and recklessly on Rt. 32 S. in Howard County between 7:00 am and 7:30 am. This has happened multiple times with the most recent being this morning (4/17/24). The driver of this van was very clearly in a hurry, and very clearly didn't care how many people they put in danger. This guy is either careless or clueless. Either way, I wouldn't want them working on my HVAC. It is also pretty foolish to drive so recklessly with your company name and number plastered all over it your vehicle.

So thankful to Tony for his dedication, technical expertise and concern working so diligently to get our a/c systems back online during the heat wave following the storm

Almost ten years ago I had a total HVAC replacement done by H&C (furnace and AC). They did a fantastic job with a great install. Since then, I've diligently signed up and paid for their annual service plan.
They're always helpful and show up on time. -
The technician always does a great job making sure everything is working properly.

My tech was very knowledgeable and patient with my many questions.

Great customer service from the initial phone call thru installation. I highly recommend H&C.

Our air conditioning went out during the 4th of July heatwave (on July 3, but we all know the whole week was a holiday!) I live with/care for an elderly woman in her mid-80's who's not very mobile. The folks at H & C were so helpful. First Vicky walked me through what solved part of the problem. Then they accomdated me on July 5 to fix the outside unit with a skeleton staff working. Tim was helpful, informative, fixed the problems and worked in the 90+ degree heat!! I highly recommend them!

I chose H&C Heating & Cooling because I wanted to do business with a local company. I've stuck with them for a decade because they are responsive, thorough, and very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

They installed a new exterior AC unit and air handler for me to replace my 30 year old one. It works great and saves me money on my energy bill. They quickly accommodated scheduling quirks when I was getting HOA approval. And they send out a tech for a free checkup when I heard a noise (which turned out to be water hammer from a new shower head - my bad).

Scheduling was a bit of a challenge. New system at headquarters still is a challenge for team. Brian was fantastic
