We’ve used them for years and there’s a reason why we stick with them. Dave came out and fixed an issue on our 14YO unit. He said it might still fail but he tried to buy us some time rather than just telling us we needed a new unit. It got us another year, inevitable that would happen but we appreciate their honesty. Got a good deal on a new unit. All around good folks.

Thirty-five years ago we bought a new house with a heat-pump in Laurel. Thirty-four years ago we called on Tim at H&C to perform our annual service. Tim's been taking care of us ever since. But time catches up with all of us, so after 35 faithful years, raising two kids and a handful of dogs, gaining weight and losing my hair, I called Michael Courbron at H&C for a replacement. Mike figured out exactly what we needed. (Unfortunately, Mike could not do anything about my weight gain or hair loss) However, he also did not try to sell us more than we needed. The installation technicians, Chris and Matt came out this morning with our new Lennox heat pump compressor (outside) and new air handler- emergency heater (inside). They were on time, professional, and extremely patient with all my questions. Matt & Chris worked briskly and cleanly like real pros always do. The unit has been tested and is cooling us off this evening. Thanks to H&C for being a local Laurel company and a lifelong partner in keeping my family comfortable.

I love h and c and the service that they provide. Recently, we had an issue with our air conditioner during a ridiculous heat wave and they very quickly came out and fixed the issue. Just recently we had a split AC unit installed on our house two workers came out and had it done and under the estimated timeframe. They were both very kind and knew exactly what they were doing and had no issues with the installation, we now have one more bedroom that we can actually use. Thanks to this new AC system.

Technician sent notices to let me know he was enroute and arrived as scheduled. He replaced the fan motor and prepared my system for the season. Everything is working fine.

H&C office staff and their technician performed admirably in resolving my problem, to include weekly follow-ups on a back-ordered part and quickly and professionally installing it once it finally arrived. I was kept informed every step of the way. They are my go to heating and cooling contractor.

H&C did an excellent job repairing my AC unit. Customer service was very pleasant, and accommodated my request for an earlier appointment. The tech named Tony was friendly, thorough, super knowledgeable, and explained everything to me very clearly. I would highly recommend H&C.

Our heat pump system went out during the Covid-19 pandemic.. Mike C came out and explained all the options available for our home. He was professional, polite and answered all of my questions. We chose a Lennox XP20, with a Pure Air IAQ. The day of the installation Chris and Matt were outstanding! The Installation was very smooth, at completion they took the time to explain how everything works & reviewed their work with me. They left my home cleaner then when they first came! Great people working here!! Highly recommend!!!

We had scheduled an estimate on a new HVAC system for no earlier than 13:30, but the estimator arrived more than an hour early, so we went with a different company.

We've read that H&C is a good company, but the scheduling mix up shunted us down a different path for expediency's sake.

This company has to be the best in their business. The owner and the associates are responsive, informative and most of all respectful of my home and my time. I HIGHLY recommend them for any future projects anyone has in their home. They replaced my hot water heater. They left every work area in pristine condition.
They are an experienced and knowledgeable treasure of the industry. Call them!

I have been a costumer of H&C for about 40 years. I can strongly recommend their services. It is a family owned business that has an impressive retention of its employees.

I have lived in the same house for 40 years. H&C replaced my original heat pump and more than a decade later replaced the second heat pump with an AC and a gas heater.

I have always had a maintenance contract with H&C. Consequently, we have never lost heat or AC in the house which is a pretty phenomenal 40 year record.

The technicians are knowledgeable, respectful of the property and quite friendly, I look forward to catching up with them in their twice a year maintenance visits.
