The whole process of purchasing a new cold climate heat pump system and getting it installed went great! Elysian Energy walked me through the proposal, including the various rebates that were deducted from the amount due. The installers were terrific and we couldn't be happier with our new system.

Just got a great deal from Elysian Energy on a new heat pump installation at my home. We replaced our gas furnace + AC. Elysian took care of increasing our electrical service to 200 Amps as well. The whole process took some time, but it was well worth it. They gave us sound advice and did the work very well. They actually exceeded my expectations. Our new system is so quiet and efficient, it's nearly unbelievable, really. It heats our home as if by magic.

Nina did our energy audit and has been very detailed on her report. She is also very responsive via email and phone call. Our heat also broke in Nov 2025 wherein temps have dipped in 30s. This is around the time that we are still venturing for new hvac. The leadership, including Martin, had been very considerate to move up on the list for hvac install. We do appreciate that. Space heaters are not enough at all. Even before I selected a system (whether full electric heat pumps vs hybrid), Martin had been accommodating on numerous questions I have. Too much reading online can be overwhelming, but Im happy with the hybrid setup that I chose - particularly the increasing electricity cost. In terms of financing, they were able to find 0% financing, though terms is short at 12 and 24 months. I know it is kinda heavy on monthly finances in the first few months, but Im hoping that as soon as I get the EMPOWER rebate, it will ease it down. Theyre also very helpful on explaining energy rebates and available tax credit before 2025 ends! During install, Martin and his team have been really nice. Theyd clean up on the areas theyve worked at. They also explain the important parts of the system. So far no hiccups on the system. Im hoping that it will last more than 10 years hopefully even 20. *Fingers crossed*

Addendum:

Btw, Elysian did almost all of our energy upgrades by end of 2025 on time before fed tax credit expires. Those upgrades include air heat pump, water heater heat pump, gas furnace and attic insulation. As for the attic insulation, they have a subcontractor devere (if i remember it correctly). Their work was fantastic and someone from Elysian was there the whole time. Anyhow, the insulation in this brutal winter kept our home warm plus the new furnace . The only thing they could not offer was aeroseal, but I did it with another bge certified contractor. My 2 cents on this review is - will definitely keep them as my energy adviser. Theyre not pushy to make a sale. They make practical recommendations within budget.

Elysian Energy, as the designated contractor for Montgomery County's Electrify MC program, arranged for the replacement of our old gas stove with an electric induction stove. We were pleased with the installation of the new stove. The customer service was very good at every step, from the initial home energy inspection to the electrical work to the stove installation to the handling of the County rebates and the billing. There was a bit of a wait after the inspection at the beginning, but nothing too bad. Sunita Pathik in management deserves a special shout-out for her customer service!

Sean is excellent. Fixed several HVAC issues, replaced a water heater, and more. Really committed to leaving things operating perfectly, even if the issue was unrelated to his work. Look forward to using RHS again, and strongly recommend their service.
