Mr. Cook and his staff are true professionals in every sense of those words. Mr. Arthur installed my new water heater like the true seasoned professional he presented me as being. The water heater install was done in a very timely manner, with Mr. Arthur being very, helpful and knowledgeable during the whole install process. Mr. Arthur did a very neat and thorough job and clean up after himself very well. I will highly recommend Mr. Cooks company to my friends and neighbours. Plus the cost was very reasonable.

Richard A. Cook Jr. has been my Plumbing and Heating for nearly 40 years, and I am very satisfied with the work he has done for me, and still doing for me. I have (2) property and he takes care both of them, all I have to do is make a phone call and they call you back right away, and when they come out to do the work, they are very fast, and do a very good job. I never had, not one problem with any work that Richard A Cook Jr. Plumbing has done for me, and that's in all the years that I been with his Company (Nearly 40 Years) I never had to call him back on no job that he ever done for me. The job he do is always well done. I will refer his Company to anybody, and I have refer his Company to many peoples, and they told me, they was very satisfied with his Company. And if I have to rate them I will rate them a FIVE + FIVE, that's how good they are.

Had need for plumber multiple times over the last few months and used Richard Cook Plumbing of Laurel every time. Company responded to my calls very quickly and completed the jobs (sump pump replacement, leaking toilet, and water heater replacement -- when it rains it pours) efficiently. It is nice that there is such a great local, family owned company in my area to service my needs.

Cook Plumbing and heating came to my house on time and took care of replacing my water heater. I had a power event system that was difficult to source and difficult to install but their technician did it quickly and without any delay. When he came to the house he put on shoe covers to protect my carpeting and was very considerate of the house took the water heater out without dripping any water or rust or anything on our carpet and made it clean by protecting the carpeting with a drop cloth so on the way out nothing got on it. This is by far the best plumbing company I have ever worked with.

I had an overall positive experience with Richard A. Cook Jr. Plumbing and Heating for the second time. First of all they were able to come out and evaluate our upstairs toilet the day after I initially called. They made a recommendation to us and cleared the initial clog. We decided to have the toilet replaced and while I was shopping Richard was on the phone with me giving me good advice about which type of toilet to get and which to avoid.
The installation was well done and quick.
I'm giving four stars only because I believe the initial price was a little higher than average cost in our area, but Richard was willing to negotiate, so that was great.
I would definitely call them again and recommend their services to others.

Richard A. Cook Jr. Plumbing sent Michael Plummer to my home to replace two faucets and a shower head. He has to be the nicest, friendliest, most helpful service technician who has ever done work for me. I did not realize he needed the cabinets cleared out and he helped me pull all of the stuff out from under the sinks and never complained. In fact, he made jokes and we laughed the whole time. I ended up throwing out two trash bags full of junk which lets you know how much we had to pull out. He volunteered to help place the items that would stay back in the cabinets. He took the time to show me how to maintain the new faucets and hauled the old ones away. He looked at the shower problem which was a shower head that sprayed water all over the place. He simply cleaned the head and told me to take the shower head I bought back to the store. Then he showed me how to keep the shower head clean in the future so that I did not have to replace it. The price charged was lower than any other estimates i received from other bidders. I will definitely recommend them to all of my friends and my neighborhood network and I will use them in the future whenever I have a plumbing problem. Great job Richard and Michael!!!!

I contacted Richard A. Cook Jr. Plumbing and Heating and they were able to help me on the same day. During our initial phone contact he provided a clear explanation of possible scenarios, including clear cost estimates, for my plumbing issue. Other companies I contacted tried to rush me off the phone before providing an estimate despite promising to do so on Home Advisor. Mr. Cook arrived to my home within 30 minutes of my call. He was professional and didn’t leave a mess once the work was completed. I would absolutely hire him again if the need arises and I plan to share his contact information with my neighbors!

Needed alot of work done, they got 4 toilets working like brand new and fixed all my pipe problems, and worked with me to get it all done quickly and affordably.

Excellent work. Called when they were on there way. Needed some extra parts put went out and picked them up quickly. Returned 2 days later at no charge and fixed a small problem. Highly recommend

Like the last reviewer -- they gave one price for a clogged toilet and then it kept going up and up and up. And then finally they didn't even fix the problem after charging $900! I called Roto Rooter and they told me that the issue wasn't fixed at all.

We had these guys come out and do some work for us. They were really overpriced and I would not recommend that anyone deal with them. The owner is a millionaire by ripping people off by charging attorney type rates for plumbing work. Taking advantage of people is just wrong. Stay away from them.

Easy to work with and very thorough. Showed up exactly when promised and efficiently replaced the sump pump at our bar sink. Wouldn't hesitate to reach out to RIchard A Cook Jr. Plumbing & Heating in the future.
