Jorge lived up to my high expectations and even exceeded them. He was everything that one looks for in a plumber. Honest, caring , trustworthy, and knowledgeable. He is very competitively priced and, he even repairs gas fireplaces! Who knew? I told him that I was in a hurry to get my fireplace repaired and he was able to order the parts that I need on the same day as the estimate. Talk about great service! If you’re looking for a great plumber, who loves what he does then look no further than Jorge at Drain Works! He’s the BEST!

Jorge is truly the best. I had communicated with him the day prior to his attendance and he research our unique toilet and replaced the needed part the very next day. His follow up communication and attention to detail is incredible! If I have any other issues (hope not) with our plumbing, he will be on speed dial.

I needed to replace my under-sink garbage disposal which was leaking into the underneath cabinet. Jorge was able to come that day, which was great since we couldn't use our kitchen sink. We had a continuing water pipe problem that another plumber couldn't fix (yet charged us a lot for his attempts).
Jorge diagnosed the issue, took the time to explain the problem to us, suggested several ways to fix it, resolved the issue, and gave us a year-long warranty. The cost is fair, and the overall experience is amazing!

Jorge is top notch! I had a pipe leak in my outdoor storage shed. He not only fixed it but advised me on winterizing my outside pipes and walked me through it, which I really appreciated. A coworker recommended Jorge to me. He answered my message within minutes and scheduled a visit for the next day. He let me know when he would arrive, wore shoe covers in the home, told me what he was doing to resolve our highly resistant clogged sink and gave me a significant discount on a side job replacing a bathtub/shower faucet. He even informed me how to make the faucet work better and longer. Jorge was very professional. His bill, which he explained beforehand was very reasonable. I would use his services again.

I wanted to replace my old water heater with a hybrid heat pump model, and initially got a quote from a big-name plumbing chain. They tried to talk me out of the upgrade and insisted a gas heater was the only option for my small laundry room. Thankfully, I got a second opinion from Drainworks.

Jorge not only explained how he could make the hybrid model work, but also pointed out that new chimney liner regulations would have caused issues if I went with another gas appliance (something the first plumber never mentioned.)

He installed the new unit at a fair price and was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. He’ll be my first call for any future plumbing needs.

Definitely would recommend Drain Works! I used the message function on Yelp to get an estimate and schedule an appointment. I had a leak under my kitchen sink and was able to schedule an appointment on Sunday night, for Tuesday morning (they had availability on Monday but I didn’t). They gave a 2 hour window, and I got a text saying they were on the way about 20 mins before my appointment window. My tech Jorge arrived within the 2 hour scheduled window and was friendly, knowledgeable and informative, (I ask a lot of questions). He was able to fix the leak by replacing some parts and my final invoice was the same as the estimate. He also used shoe covers when entering my apt (so no mess).

Jorge was a pleasure to work with. He arrived promptly and took care to protect my hardwood floors from the outdoor elements. He was courteous and professional. His knowledge and expertise was clear as he worked and also explained each step in a clear and concise way. He shared with me invaluable information in the maintenance of my fireplace. Jorge from Drainworks was just fantastic. We had an issue with our tankless water heater not heating the water. He showed up in less than an hour and took his time finding the root of the problem. I was about to try and fix a shower faucet in the house I just bought and moved in to and found that my main water shut off valve wouldn’t move and it looked like it was made out of plastic so I was afraid it might break, so I called Drain Works. A human answered the phone and she was very helpful and scheduled a plumber to come take a look the next day. Jorge showed up right on time the next morning and checked the valve. It was a bit stuck, but he got it loose after a moment. I was worried that nobody else in my home would be able to shut it off in an emergency, so he quoted me for a replacement valve and installed it right away. The work was done very well and Jorge let me choose the orientation I wanted for the new valve, explaining the pro’s and con’s of each orientation.

Drain Works has been our go-to plumber for the past eight years. Always prompt and thorough no matter the issue - blocked drains, collapsed lines, flooded basements, on demand water heaters and more. Highly recommend.

True professionals, super impressive and I very highly recommend. I reached out with an emergency - no hot water in our tenant's home. Jorge managed to squeeze this in, same-day. He quickly diagnosed the issue and gave me very transparent information about each option I had. He did not push me one direction or another, even though of course one option was more expensive. He was super respectful of my decision. I ended up choosing a new water heater over repair for various reasons. Yet again, these guys managed to get that done almost immediately - very next morning, working with great flexibility with our tenant's schedule.

Throughout the whole process, Jorge was kind, gracious, helpful, and very knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to explain everything to me and I never felt rushed. It's not everyday you get so lucky to work with a team like this. Couldn't recommend more.
