Honest Abe's employees are not very honest or are inexperienced. Two of Honest Abe's plumbers came to my home to repair a leaking exterior Legend faucet. I was heading to work so my wife had them access what needed to be done. The plumber told her he had to cut through the interior drywall to repair the faucet. Well the attached pictures show the stem just needed to be replaced. Beware of Honest Abe they're honestly trying to ripe you off with unnecessary repair work!

I had some work done on my shower a couple of weeks ago, and an honest mistake was made. (we are all human). I was willing to pay part of the cost to come back and fix it.

David Mack the general manager did not charge me anything to fix the problem. He sent out Tayla and Rob. Tayla is an exceptional plumber. She answers every questions and works hard the way she would on her own house.

Rob, (the apprentice) is very easy going and good natured and got some great work done. I also had a boiler done from them last year. My experience with this company has been amazing.

I really appreciated the service I received today. Brandon was great. He was thorough, honest, and straightforward. I would definitely strongly consider using this company again for chimney services and if this is their culture, for all other services they provide as well. I was very pleased.

Brandon, Michael and Alonsa couldn't have done more. Inspected all 5 fireplaces and 4 chimneys in our house, as well as dryer vent. So honest. Only one chimney needed cleaning at this time. They left me much relieved and feeling secure about the safety of my home. HIGHLY recommend.

The Honest Abe team was awesome. We had them out a year ago to give us a quote after receiving a “site unseen” quote from another company. Brandon came out and took detailed notes, presented us with pictures of everything that needed to be fixed, and gave us a quote. We waited a year to proceed. They honored their original quote and came out to make sure everything was still the same. They presented us multiple options for financing and were just so easy to work with. They finished the install in one day and we couldn’t be happier with the final product. They were extremely knowledgeable and gave us a crash course for operating the wood stove before leaving. Can’t say enough good things about this experience.

I had a kitchen sink problem. First Honest Abe was out the next day. A competitor took 3 days to tell me I would have to wait another 3 days to have my problem fixed. Second Michael was friendly and completely professional, he estimated the coast and gave me options as to how to fix the problem I had. The estimate was half the coast of the competitor. Michael also noted a possible problem that I had a warranty on. He was able to get the additional repairs covered at no additional charge to me. Michael worked diligently and made all the repairs needed.
I have had Honest Abe and Michael do work for me previously. Then as now EXCELLENT work. I would recommend both Honest Abe and Michael to anyone without reservation. The work was completed quickly and my kitchen was cleaned up as though there had been no work done.

Tim is knowledgeable and patient, and quickly evaluated the problem, and then was able to communicate the current HVAC problem and the possible solutions available to us.

Tim came to fix our HVAC as it’s been cutting out. We called another company but Tim handled the job and was very knowledgeable about everything. I would highly recommend him again and again

Had some work done for a chimney whose old parge coat was crumbling into the yard, had a damaged crown, and had a liner that needed replacing.

Called a few different places and Honest Abe had a very competitive price. The job took three days and Michael, and his father and the others in the crew were excellent, professional, and courteous. They explained things as they worked and now I got the sleekest looking chimney in the entire neighborhood.

Brandon did an excellent job. He inspected my chimney and dryer vent. I accepted his offer to clean out the dryer vent. He explained everything to me as he was doing it, explained my options, and provided detailed estimates.

Michael and Tom did an incredible job! They patiently answered my questions and allowed me to watch their process for an education. They were kind, sociable, and empathetic. Quotes were generated quickly were explained for multiple scenario is for the work. Additionally, kept the work area clean and they made sure all the valves and water function were in order before they left. Thanks to them both!

After working during three extremely hot days on the roof and one misty day, Honest Abe completed my main floor fireplace chimney relining, brick repair on that and on the furnace chimney, installation of two top-of-chimney dampers, and painting the firebox. Two people did the work over the four days.

Prior to this, if we tried making a fire, smoke would come out the fireplace in the basement.

They did a great job.

Sol was wonderful, kind and professional. Fixed my problem quickly. If I have any other issues Honest Abe is my plumber now.

We had cleaning of the dryer vent recently. It was an excellent work. Alonso and Maikol, Father & son team, did a good job on cleaning and explained the process well, showing the pictures. Very satisfied!

Always give 100% communicate everything clearly and honestly and ensure quality of service. Everyone I have seen from chimney service to plumbing to heating has been stellar. They have earned my loyalty as a customer time and time again!

Recently had Brandon from their Chimney division to the house and he did a fantastic job. We had repairs done to our chimney last year so this was our first cleaning. Brandon was kind, knowledgeable, clean, and helpful throughout the cleaning process. It was great seeing the visuals he was able to provide, giving better understanding of future watchouts.

We have used Honest Abe for our yearly inspection and repairs —as well as various installations —for years. They have always been extremely competent, competitively priced, kind and responsive. Last week we had Brandon, Michael and Abe here for various inspections. They were *all so great. They explain exactly what needs attention and why. They help to establish priorities and strategies for keeping our older home systems functioning well. I appreciate that they have always been accommodating/flexible with my schedule and needs, give me options, and are quick to come out for needed repairs. The office staff are also to be commended for their friendliness and commitment to helping the customer. Today we had Michael in our home completing needed repairs for hours in a very warm basement. He was so pleasant and his work excellent —thank you!! We feel very lucky to have Honest Abe’s team keeping us safe and happy.
