Reviews of local pros in Pasadena, Maryland

Excellent job of pruning in an attempt to save two marginal (in health) trees. Clean up was impeccable. Crew was on time and personable. Price was reasonable. Tree work is universally expensive but this price was fair. I would definitely use them again.

Needed some serious trimming done on two trees close to my deck. The Tree People helped to schedule the job to best accommodate me and when the day came the 3-man crew arrived right on time at 10:00 a.m. All their work went on with no problems as if it was easy for them, and they made sure that every last tree branch that concerned was taken down. By around 11:15 a.m. all the heavy work was done and they were almost finished cleaning up the grounds. This is what you'd expect from professionals, and at a cost that I consider a bargain. Lastly I want to give props to Ron, the company rep who responded initially, surveyed the trees and work area, advised me on the best course of action, and within a few hours emailed an estimate. Top-notch service. I heartily recommend The Tree People.

I had The Tree People remove part of a huge elm tree, a dead branch that extended above my garage. There was the risk of damaging the roof of the garage, and branches were also entangled in power lines and communication cables. BG&E sent a service man to take down the power line, but discussing the matter with one of the Tree guys, Max (that's what I read on his helmet), they agreed that that was not necessary. So they began cutting the branches, and the cables remained unharmed. Max did the cutting, standing in the bucket of the bucket truck, while the other guys lowered the pieces down suspended on a rope. It was amazing. In about 3 hours it was all done, with almost no damage to my garden. I highly recommend this team.

Owner came & reviewed the job. Company arrived on time & they did a very nice job. They cleaned up after themselves. Very professional. I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you so much.. Karen Vesterby

I have a huge tree in my yard which was not looking great; lots of dead wood throughout. I contacted multiple companies, and each one told me the tree was dead, and I need to cut it down. I found this hard to believe as each year it was full of leaves. However, when Ron from The Tree People came out, his story was different. He walk me through the problems, and how to resolve them with trimming and nutrients. Furthermore, his price was the best out of all the quotes I received. While Ron is running a business, with these 2 things, he made me feel he wanted to save the tree, and not just get the job over. The crew came out and did an awesome job, making sure I was happy with the work, and providing the quality Ron promised. Thanks, The Tree People will be my only call next time.

i am very pleased with the whole experience of removing my very large dead cherry tree. From the sales, scheduling , and the crew, it was a very pleasant experience. A special shout out to the crew. They were polite and hardworking. I loved the way they worked as a team, especially to solve some challenges. they also seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. I definitely recommend The Tree People. In fact, 2 of my neighbors have requested estimates.

They did a great job! Highly recommend out of all the quotes they were the best and did AMAZING work. So glad I called them , the team was professional and the service was cleaned up fast. Had a large oak tree that was taken down with some much care. 10/10 service!

The Tree People did a great job removing trees and stumps. They leveled the yard, seeded and fertilized. It's early spring and the grass looks amazing. I recommend their services.

Third time using this company and we were not disappointed. Very professional, polite team. And efficient. They also did a great job of cleaning up.
The Tree People are my go-to people for all our tree work.

Trees were removed, overhanging branches were cut back.
Clean up was excellent. I am tremendously impressed at the quality of work and attention to cleaning up, reseeding where needed. I will make use of your company when the next set of trees need servicing.

We hired the Tree People to remove a dead tree and remove dead branches from a couple of other trees. They did a great job, the price was fair, and they have good customer service (are responsive). We would hire them again.

Excellent work! We had large tree limbs removed from a multitude of tall trees along the side and backyard of our house which were touching our house and causing too much shade in the backyard, preventing grass from growing. They completed the work quickly and thoroughly cleaned up the work site. Looks great! Thank you so much!

The Tree People did a great job with my yard. I had a tree removed, a bunch of bushes ripped out, stumps ground, the transplanting of one plant, and the planting of a few new bushes. Everything was done professionally and the price was great. Work was done quickly and efficiently. No issues. Will use them again!

The tree people and their crew were awesome. Very easy to deal with and very nice. All the guys worked very hard and did a wonderful job. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

The men that came to my house got right to work and did an excellent job reshaping my holly tree back into the conical shape.
They all had a part of this small job and they did it well. The price was very good I would highly recommend them!

My husband and I were very pleased with the service. The crew supervisor knew what needed to be done and the estimator also came to verify that the work was being done correctly. The crew were friendly. I am glad I found you and will contact you in the future for any other tree and shrub related services. It was money well spent. Thank you!!!!

Great company and people who care about trees and their customers.
The Tree People did an excellent job of removing several large oak, hickory, and poplar trees that were very close to our house.
Fred, their arborist, was great and very patient with all my questions and concerns. He also helped ensure the wood was cut up into sizes that I could split for firewood, which was a huge benefit to me.
Their tree removal crew did an excellent job and we’re all very professional.
It’s really amazing and very skilled work. I was very impressed, and I am very appreciative of the excellent work.

We have used The Tree People for many years. Fred and his crew have always been punctual, worked effortlessly to get the job done in a safe and professional manner.
Catastrophic issues, no problem for this company!

Outstanding!!!

This is a high-performing rockstar team! From the scheduling with Cindy, the work assessment with Ron, to the actual project implementation with Luis and the rest of the crew, the service provided was superb and outstanding! I have some big trees that need to have branches trimmed, and some trees that need to be removed. Luis and his team showed up, surveyed the land, communicated with me once again what needed to be done, and went straight to work. The entire team is efficient, knowledgeable, and you can tell that they trust and rely on each other, which enabled them to deliver high performance work. I couldn't be happier with the results, truly amazing work!!

If you are in the market for tree trimming, pruning, or removal services, look no further, this is the company to call!

My second time doing business with you guys and I know why. A great experience! From arrival to departure, courteous, professional and experts. Thanks again!

We had a great experience with The Tree People! I had gotten several quotes for hauling away debris from a fallen tree and trimming our “out of control” hedges. Ron’s quote was so competitive, I called him back to add tree trimming and the removal of two stumps. The guys did the job in 5 hours and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Thanks Ron!
