I contacted Fresh Carpets because our sectional and bedroom carpets needed deep cleaning services. The team members provided professional service while maintaining both speed and complete focus on details. The team successfully eliminated all accumulated dirt from years of use and treated multiple stubborn stains that I believed would never come out. Finally, someone we can trust with our Persian rugs. I read the reviews for their main location and decided to give them a try. I also noticed they have a location near by which was really convenient. The colors of my rug are so vibrant after the cleaning! I’ll be a return customer.

AMAZING! Everything from when I called to get information to dropping off my rugs was really smooth. Got my rugs back about a week later and couldn’t be happier with the results. Ayoub N&H did a great job! I would definitely recommend this place if you want professional, quality service.

I called Rose landscaping last fall to remove some leaves, he gave me a price over the phone, he told me the job would be $300 and i said thanks I'd like to get one other quote, at which time he said maybe he could do the job for $275. I thanked him again, and said i was still getting one more quote, and after I did I texted him back letting him know I'd like to go with him for the job. After I brought the price back up, he said it would be $350, then got a little irate and said he never said anything less than $325 and then went on about how he's been doing this for years and he knows the area and I'm getting confused with someone else and that i squabbling over a small amount of money. The only other quote I got was earlier that day, so I wasn't confusing him but he got very unprofessional very quickly.

I ended up using him still because I needed the work done right away. No major complaints about the actual work performed, but the absolute lack of professionalism and condescending conversation was quite appalling.

We hired the Rose Team to help maintain our mulch and flower beds and spring clean up. Excellent service and prices. Bulk deliveries of both mulch and stones was an added bonus. The crew has the artisan touch for sure. Highly recommend.

10 stars, if only I could!

This is a review in two parts:

Part 1: What I wrote to Good Earth after a crew finished a garden makeover in June 2020:

"Dear Tim and Theresa:

When we first moved into our home four years ago, we found ourselves with a gardening nightmare: sun-loving flowers planted beneath trees, shade-loving plants in full sun, garden beds that made no sense, were ungainly rectangular or just plain ugly.

The only people we allowed to see our garden were those to whom we turned for guidance.

Over the course of the year other people were "let in" but always with an apology: "it is very much a work-in-progress."

Now, since Tim and his crew plied their trade so masterfully, I actually love to show off our garden. Yes, it is still a work-in-progress, but the progress is plain to see. The garden has beautiful contours; it is much easier to plan the next steps.

A friend visited recently - a fellow master gardener, with many years of gardening experience. She wrote me an email: "I loved seeing your garden and seeing what you are planning. You are definitely a gardener after my heart."

Thank you both so much."

Part 2: This is what I wrote to Tim Hough (with a cc to Theresa Babicki, Project Coordinator, Good Earth Landscaping) on OCTOBER 25, 2021 - over two months ago - and to which I have yet to receive a response.

"Hello, Tim. How are you? Last time we were in touch, you were on the verge of becoming a father. I hope all is well with you and your family.

It has been a bit over a year (October 22, 2020) since you came back to inspect what worked (most of what your team planted) and what didn't. I suggested then that you come back in the spring, which you did. Spring passed; now we are well into autumn.

I'm going to suggest a simple way to make everything right: Rather than go through the expense and the hassle of scheduling a time for members of your crew to come over and replace the plants that didn't make it, I'd like to arrange with Theresa to issue a credit for future purchases at Good Earth or to issue a refund.

The plants:

2 Pieris Cavatine @ $39.99 = $79.98
2 Coral bells Autumn Bride @ $16.99 = $33.98
3 Columbine Corbett @ $11.99 = $35.97

Total: $149.93

I look forward to hearing from you."

The contract is clear: "All trees and shrubs are guaranteed to grow for a period of 3 years from the date of installation provided they are planted in the ground and receive reasonable care. Perennials and ground covers are guaranteed for a period of 1 year.... All plants will be replaced without cost to client with a similar plant, provided that the loss occurs and we are notified within the specified time period."

BOTTOM LINE: A pleasing beginning, a sour ending. A company that won't honor its contractual commitments - won't even accord the courtesy of a response - does not deserve my business or yours.

Good Earth Garden Center is a full service center located in Potomac Maryland. They carry a large variety of flowers, plants, trees and schrubs. Plus soil, mulch and all garden needs. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Garden Shop has pots, decorations and fun seasonal items.

I like their personal service and how well they take care of you. Went for some plants, and they made sure we had the right sunlight and appropriate space. Loaded our car and made sure we had everything we needed.
