The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about all the different flowers. They also had an variety of flowers and plantings tools there too. Definitely plan to go back and purchase more plants.

Bought 8 pine trees. Owner nice enough to come out first to measure area and advise me. The planting was so neatly done I decided to give them a 5 star review.

Helpful and very friendly staff and a great assortment of plants-annuals, vegetables, trees, shrubs, and plant products-seeds, pots, soil, mulch, fertilizer and the like. Prices similar to other plant stores in the area. They have a deal where they’ll plant trees and large items over a certain dollar threshold for you. Would definitely return.

The plants are very well-tended and the staff is helpful and friendly. Good prices, too!

I've found my new plant place!

It's hit and miss here with the staff. I went here in the summer looking for LeafGro, since it has always worked so well in my gardens, and the staff I talked to told me their bagged compost was the same thing just in a different bag. I asked them to clarify if they meant it was the same LeafGro made in Montgomery County and they said it was. I also got some top soil. Got home, looked at the bags, and they were all from West Virginia. Didn't want to schlep back so decided to try. Turned out the compost was more like mulch (huge chunks), and the top soil was more like trash, LITERALLY. I found pieces of glass, plastic, and metal in the top soil from West Virginia. Plants that grew in this compost were smaller and weaker than the plants growing in the beds where I had used other compost. Don't ever buy compost or top soil from West Virginia!! If you shop here, look at the bags yourself before buying instead of trusting the staff.

They have good service but I just noticed that they have a different warranty policy than what I thought they had. They have same year to three year guarantee on their plants but they don't really refund if the plants are dead (like what the homedepot, lowes and costco do).

At first they look confused when I bring the dead plants back, then the supervisor gave me store credit and said next time tell her my phone number then I can use my store credit. But they cannot find my credit in their system when I came there later...

So my suggestion:
1. make sure you notice the warranty is not a refund guarantee...
2. If they give you credit, better use it immediately.
3. Keep you store credit receipt that wish they can honor it if you come next time...

This place is awesome and the staff I worked with were super friendly, knowledgeable, and beyond helpful. Emma was able to beautifully repot my very large bird's nest anthurium, while teaching me what to look for and how to properly repot. She was just so incredibly helpful & kind, that I will absolutely be coming back. My plant literally looks rejuvenated from her repotting!

I have shopped for plants, accessories and many products at this location every season for the many years. I was Always offered the little 10% discounts on my purchases and always friendly people were there. But the past trip yesterday was very disappointing with two ladies at the register very unfriendly, On Thanksgiving holiday weekend :( I was embarrassed in front of family visiting from NYC and before going there I was Bragging to them how many years I only shop here despite many items being over priced compared to other nurseries in my area
They lost my future business for sure!

I met with Tim regarding a landscaping project which I paid him $100. He never got back to me with a promised proposal. I left numerous messages at the garden center without a single call back. It's been over 5 weeks since I met with him and I still have not received the promises design or any contact.

Excellent! It was very easy to find things to suit my sun (and deer) conditions by signage and by several very helpful employees. They wrangled plants (gently) into a very poorly suited car, walked around and gave good recommendations on plant combinations, but with a light touch (i.e. backing off when it looked like I wanted to think over the options). I do believe these guys will see me again.

Maureen helped us she was very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to work with. Overall a great experience.

The Landscaping division is GREAT and rates a 10, However, you can get very differing advice from the sales staff for plants and flowers. Spent $15,000 this year on landscaping and they performed exceptionally. Yesterday, went to buy some deer resistant fall plants. Sales person made a recommendation that we followed. Last night the deer had a wonderful dinner and the flowers are destroyed. When I went back to Good Earth today, two sales people said the flowers were deer resistant and two others said they were not. Even though, I spent a lot of money at their store this year I was not offered a refund on the plants that they recommended and that turned out to be totally inappropriate. So next year, my landscaping budget will be spent elsewhere. My recommendation: use them for landscaping and avoid them for everything else.

This place is awesome. From the variety of plants to the welcoming and knowledgeable staff, everything is top tier! The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The plants are well cared for and they look happy. They have a wonderful selection of pots, saucers and garden soils, as well as fertilizers and decoration.

Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. A young lady named Anna was especially helpful with my questions and had the knowledge to you direct me to where I need to be. I got a wonderful orchid pot as well as some beautiful new plants and some fun new pots to put them in.

This place is gorgeous. The more experienced staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. I spoke with one lady and you could feel her enthusiasm and knowledge in the way she spoke.

The have a ton of succulents and many, many annual/perennials.

I had a fantastic experience at Good Earth. It was my first time at this location and I have zero flower experience, but I needed some arrangements to put at my front stoop and in the back garden of our new house. I was nervous since I had no idea what flowers would do well without sun and none of the arrangements were really jumping out to me. Enter Sergio. He came to my rescue and was so kind and unbelievably patient with me, as I was very indecisive and unsure. We looked at a bunch of arrangements and there were things that I liked and things that I didn't like from each one and he said he could make me a new one with my likes. It turned out beautifully, but I wanted to take it home to see how it looked on the stoop. Once I saw it at my house, my husband and I thought it needed a bit more color and I went back and Sergio effortlessly took some greens out and added more flowers and made an identical one for the other side. He also charged me a more than fair price for putting that all together. I really appreciated this customer care and they definitely gained a repeat customer from me!

Good Earth is a fantastic landscaping firm. They have done three large landscaping projects for me over the last year and each one turned out to be very beautiful. Matt turned out wonderful designs for each project and tweaked each according to my suggestions. Each project was completed on schedule and very safely. I get frequent compliments from friends and neighbors on how this work has enhanced the beauty of my property. I am having them back this spring for more work. I could not be more pleased.

I found this spot on a whim after leaving another location b/c of their poor customer service and poor quality trees. I had a positive experience at Good Earth Garden Market. The staff was super friendly. I found the perfect tree that fit my budget and looked great. Included pic. I would highly recommend this business and I would come back in the future.

Staff is friendly and quality of plants is consistently good. However, they sell a large number of invasive plants, and in their native plant section many of the plants are labeled something along the lines of the plant you are holding may or may not be native (could be a cultivar). UPDATE: I recently visited their “native” section and found plants that are NOT native. Buyer beware. Use internet or a plant identification app to double check all their plants.

In addition, we had them install about 20 different trees and other plants. I specifically asked for native. Most of the plants they installed were cultivars or Asian versions of the plants I wanted. When the person we dealt with first came to meet with us, he even tried to convince me Nandinas are native and not invasive. Nothing could be further from the truth which leads me to believe they are not very well educated about their plants or they are untruthful. When a few of the plants didn’t make it, we had to hound them for about 9 months to get them to honor the contract saying they will replace plants within the first 3 years.

Employees are awesome. Lots of education materials. Can't beat the location. Beautiful products that you won't find in a chain store. Some things are pricey, but you get what you pay for. Some things like soil correction are cheaper than big box stores!

This is a really nice local nursery and garden center. The location is really easy to get to and they have ample parking for quite a few cars.

The staff is quite knowledgeable and always ready to help answer any questions that customers may have and make suggestions on plant care and purchase.

They have a good selection of different varieties of plants and potting accessories like soil, fertilizer, and pots.

They do offer landscaping services with good quality of work!
