We used D.Canales for a bathroom renovation. David and his team were easy to work with. All their work was neat and clean. David stayed in touch with us on a daily basis, communicating any issues and what would be done for the day. He was very patient with our choices and changes with the plan. I would highly recommend his team for any renovation big or small.

D'Canales General Contractor is my go to for any home improvement jobs. He is professional, dependable, punctual and takes pride in the work his company performs. The workers have impeccable work ethics and get the job done! We had our basement ruined with water. David came and gave us a reasonable estimate to replace drywall, paint, and install new flooring and it was all beautiful... looked brand new! We had him to replace flooring in kitchen, hardwood flooring in hallway and bathroom and replaced carpet; and again, beautiful job! We also had him to mount a few televisions on the wall. We were extremely pleased with the work this company completed and highly recommend them for any home improvement jobs... small or large!

David and his team are the best and are capable of some larger remodeling jobs. After we bought our house, we hired them to demolish the wall between our kitchen and living room and install an island in that space (as well as some minor things suggested by our home inspection).

This was a major job as that was a load-bearing wall and ventilation passthrough and several other contractors either seemed afraid to do it or gave no confidence in their ability to do it. David explained everything well right from the beginning, got architect drawings, and submitted for permits and inspection without needing anything from us. His bid was not the lowest, but he was literally the only contractor (out of 4 that we contacted) we had confidence could do the job properly and he succeeded. David was great at communicating with us through the entire process and his team was considerate and cleaned up after themselves.

Don't just go with the lowest bid for a major job, go with the person you think will do it right, and that means David and his team.

Other great services provided, they power washed the house, walkway, back staircase and deck. Replaced deck and gazebo railings and light fixture, as well as replaced and painted front fascia. Removed shelf and Installed new cabinets and painted laundry room.

David is professional, personable and meticulous. His team has great work ethics, always on time and cleans up at the end of the work day. They take pride in what they do and it show in the final product. You get a final walk through once project is complete to ensure you are pleased. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend David Canales and his team to do any large or small project you are considering. It’s truly worth it. You won’t be disappointed!

D'Canales Contracting recently completed our outdoor build. Dave incorporated our design with his expertise toward a well-built project. Dave was in daily contact to listen to and discuss any questions we had and to promptly resolve any issues that arose. He advised on product selections which provided best quality for the overall build, and worked to incorporate minor changes and certain requests we made.

His team arrived promptly each day and worked consistently throughout, each applying their skills to the structure. They properly maintained supplies on the site and cleared debris daily, leaving the site cleared of any potential hazards. We appreciate each of their individual efforts and the superb craftsmanship they delivered.

The project was well planned and executed throughout, and because of the clear communications maintained, it was completed on schedule and within budget. The quality of the build has already drawn complements from friends, neighbors, and some familiar with structure builds. We are fortunate to have partnered with the D'Canales Contracting team.

David Canales and his team (Dcanales Inc.) are the find of the century. They are capable, affordable and responsive - in short, everything we wanted in a general contractor.

David impressed us the moment we met him. Unlike several other contractors we spoke with, David immediately grasped the magnitude of the problems we faced. Unlike the other contractors, he didn’t hedge about the potential cost. He gave us a thorough, detailed estimate - and then stuck to it. Of course, issues developed as the work unfolded. As it turned out, we needed support beams in two places, not one. And a ceiling - a large, vaulted ceiling - started to bow and needed replacing. But David stuck to his estimate. We paid exactly what he told us upfront we would need to pay.

David brought in an architect and a structural engineer to review his plans. They affirmed that he was spot on. This gave us a much appreciated peace of mind.

David’s team came in and worked hard, all day, every day, six days a week. They were efficient, but also pleasant and respectful of our needs in our living space. Their tile work was painstaking and flawless. The plumber came on a Sunday so that we would stay on schedule. David stopped in every day to review their work and to field our questions. He was unendingly patient and - this is an old fashioned word, but it fits - courteous.

In the end, we have a second floor that is no longer dropping down to the first, and gorgeous new bathrooms. We are already thinking about the next project for which we will, of course, hire David and his team.

We’ve completed two full bathroom renovations with David and his team, and we have been very satisfied with the quality of their work. The bathrooms look amazing, and are just what we wanted. David and his crew have a high standard of care and quality, but are also very responsive to any issues that arise during the project. We really appreciate their promptness, predictable scheduling, hard work, and clear communication. We do not hesitate in recommending them!

David and his team are extremely professional and highly skilled. They take great care in their work, paying close attention to details. They provided guidance regarding design details, drawing on their experience to point out benefits or potential issues with the options. They were on time every morning, and clean up very nicely at the end of each day. David does a good job of communicating status and timeline, so you are never caught off guard. We will definitely continue to use them for our future design, repair and update jobs.

We cannot stress enough the excellent customer service, quality of work, and attention to detail that David and his team provided. Our realtor referred us to David, and after working with him we can absolutely understand why.

We were having foundation and water issues that forced us to install a French drain along the perimeter of the basement, so our waterproofing contractor recommended we hire a general contractor to demo and later reinstall/rebuild the drywall, floors (including bathroom tile), and staircase.

First off, after getting multiple quotes and corresponding with other candidates (while being on a time crunch), it was incredibly refreshing for a contractor to exhibit the professionalism and timeliness in replies that David does. Other competing contractors would take days or more to reply to us while David responded quickly, not only asking the right questions but also communicating with us effectively so that we were always on the same page.

He is incredibly personable and easy to talk to and did a great in-depth eval before starting the job. His quotes are clear and itemize all parts of the work so that you understand exactly what is what. His customer service is also fantastic. He was always a call or text away and even face timed me for an extra consultation which took a good amount of time, as our waterproofing project was changing and evolving into something bigger.

He was also very flexible, and worked with us through some inconvenient scheduling changes with our other contractors. For example, on short notice, he was able to arrange for his guys to come earlier than the date we had agreed upon because we had an issue with our plumber getting down the partially demoed stairs, so his guys actually built temporary stairs for him to access the basement!

The quality of the work was also fantastic. Despite having other clients, it was great how often David made a point of stopping by in person to check on his workers and make sure they were doing the job right. For instance, when his guys were making our permanent staircase rail, David was not satisfied with the way they did it the first time and had them do it again so that it reached his high standards.

In conclusion, we would not hesitate to recommend David’s company. You can tell that he is someone who takes pride in providing excellent service and that he has high standards for his work. He also runs a tight ship, so this extends to his highly skilled employees. They worked very quickly without sacrificing quality. Do yourself a favor and hire David. You won’t regret it.

David and his team were incredibly professional and the work top-notch. We’ve gone through other renovations that were a terrible experience to say the least, but David was patient in answering all our questions and ensuring we understood the full scope of the work so there weren’t any surprises. The work is so far above the rest — the attention to detail and precision is masterful. He’s flexible, understanding, and a good and honest person. There’s no other construction company I would recommend more. He remodeled our bathroom, painted the entire house, and did a full upgrade in doors, baseboards and trim. Wilson and Son is a family operated business that I had the pleasure of working with for our recent renovation of a newly purchased home. They painted the interior, installed crown molding, installed recessed lights, took down textured walls, put up and repaired drywall, and completely redid a bathroom (tile work, mounted sink, new lighting). THEY WERE AMAZING. They came recommended to us by a friend who uses them for their rental condo. I am so glad we decided to hire them. I cannot speak highly enough of Wilson and Son. They were on time, clearly very knowledgeable and detail oriented, professional, and hard working. They worked for a week non-stop and finished all work on time, to an extremely high standard. Their prices were also reasonable and they gave detailed quotes so everybody was on the same page about the work being done. I will hire them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone, without hesitation.
